NOTE : 1) YOU CAN EXTRACT PARTITION FILE FROM KDZ OR TOT FILE USING LGFIRMWARE EXTRACTOR TOOL

2) PARTITION FILE MUST BE IN .img FORMAT ( WHEN WE EXTRACT PARTITION FILE FROM KDZ OR TOT THEN IT IS IN .bin FORMAT SO SIMPLY RENAME FROM .bin to .img )

AFTER EXTRACTING PARTITION FILE AND RENAMING THEM YOU WILL GET 10 OR 9 FILE ( aboo.img, boot.img, laf.img, recovery.img, sbl1.img, dbi.img, rpm.img, tz.img, misc.img) and REMOVE ANY NUMBER FROM THE NAME OF FILES ( SUPPOSE YOU GET aboot_21345.bin THEN RENAME TO aboot.img)
NOW COPY THESE PARTITION FILE IN THE LAST FOLDER (PLATFORM-TOOLS) OF ANDROIDSDKSLIM FOLDER.
NOW CONNECT YOUR PHONE TO PC IN FASTBOOT MODE ( OPEN DEVICE MANAGER AND SEE ON THE TOP THERE WILL ANDROID ADB INTERFACE UNDER ANDROID PHONE. IF NOT THEN CHECK ADB DRIVER INSTALLED PROPERLY OR NOT.

This is not the first time i tried to update firmware using KDZUpdater [KDZ_FW_UPD.exe] .
But this is the first time my device has been bricked.
During updating my firmware, i was in "Emergency Mode" and i received some error on KDZUpdater GUI Console.
As i was unable to move from "Emergeny Mode", i tried again to update firmware, but again i got some error.
I thought removing the battery will do some good, but i was wrong.
Now my mobile is as good as "BLACK BRICK".
It even doesn't detect in "Device Manager".
Note:
Before using "KDZUpdater", i had disabled "LG modems" from device manager.
Pls help me on this.

You have only one option.
You need to force your phone into qhsusb bulk mode by shorting test point.
What does that mean??
Will this be done through software or I need some special hardware or should I sent to LG service centre.

You need to open your phone and do short of some pins.
A guys named aftabalam8c2 has full tutorial video how to do this.
And he will help u.

I have no download mode, but rom still works fine. cant root and cant start into recovery.
I solved the QHUSB 9006 Method in ubuntu, but after filling the partitions, all is like before, still NO download mode.....

I want to install a custom rom, but it failed and i havent kept backup of stock rom, so first it shows " secure boot error" then i again go to fastboot mode and by mistake flash wrong file at boot partition & recovery partition.
After that when i switch on my phone it shows secure boot error & after it 's switched off.
When i press vol+ and insert in usb , download mode dialog comes and after 5 to 6 seconds it switch off automatically.
Not any key combination work for recovery mode & fastboot mode.
Means my phone have not download mode and not fastboot mode.
Now what should i do for unbrick it.
Don't support with lg l65 D280g?

got the solution but can't find the apropriate files, i am showing the method, if you find the files let me know.
1. with willcracker board diag,
in that case you need chipset file for apq8084 (snapdragon 805), i have searched to many but cant find. in that case you need original (latest on your phone) firmware in .tot file and convert it in .mbn file. this you can do in willcracker. only the problem is apq8084 chipset files and latest firmware in tot file. you can find it in .kdz but cant get it in .tot file.
2. with qpst programme. (qfil programe)
in this method you need programmer file, rawprogram.xml & patch.xml of the same version phone (f460s) and yes original firmware.
you can find both program on google or xda.
if you got the appropriate files let me know and share with me.

Cannot unbrick ls996 in q-bulk mode. tried everything...every site. Even tried to contact member mentioned in post. Im willing to work hard to unbrick, NOT looking for easy way...out...but im no phone technican by all means. Thanks!!!

I have same issue wrong ROM installed on LG f460s and I have no download mode, no recovery, no fastboot no charging shown, no sign of life, just Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoad 9008 is shown in device manager when connect to PC.. power outage while flashing kdz on LG C660
Please help... I know my phone is a little outdated but I would still love use it for my daily routine . I'm in the middle of flashing the original firmware when the power outage happened. Now it won't power on at all. Been searching for days on what pins/components to short to force it into qhsusb bulk mode but no luck. I hope someone can help me...:crying:

Have you tried checking on the 'Device Manager' what mode is the phone in 'Ports' section when connected to pc?
After that there are instructions in the first page for every mode. My phone doesn't show up and I needed it to force into
qhsusb bulk mode in order to proceed...

Hello guys I have bricked my LG H440n in an attempt of unlocking the bootloader. My phone doesn't get recognised by pc, I can only enter fastboot mode, but command like "fastboot erase aboot" are not working, it just says remote: "unknown command". Yes you can use LG Flash Tool to restore your phone to stock and unbrick your device. Download V15c stock kdz file and flash it with lg flash tool from download mode (turn of the phone, hold volume up and connect your phone to pc). Run lg flash tool, browse for v15c kdz, select csm flash to format all data, and pres start, wait for 5-10 minutes and watch progres bar on the phone. If lg flash tool crash after phone reboots, never mind it is ok.
So you do not need to downgrade because there is a v15c kdz, I use this method to unroot and revert everything as new.

Hi My G2 was bricked that fastmode started and every time a enter a command it would hang and not process for example fastboot erase recovery then it would have a recovery...... and nothing.
Hey still looking to fix? Look for lgg2 stock firmware and use LG flash tools to put 4.4.2 back on and it will be all original. If it's the d800 Google Supersport and big fau and you should be able to find it. It's a 1.9gb installer with complete step by step instructions on the xda page. If I fine it later I'll edit this
first install lg usb drivers and then pda Net drivers then go to fastboot mode

I've taken a few steps towards unbricking it and none of them were successful:
Uppercut and LGUP (device not found)
QFIL (Sahara errors and connection errors)
Either I screwed up something in the "revival" process, there is another method I don't know about or the only thing left for me is buying a new board.
I would greatly appreciate help.

Once you flash h918 firmware on a non h918 you're done, there's no recovering it.

I have just a little experience with rooting, just enough knowledge to be dangerous, but I'll try to help anyway.
I thought I had bricked my phone this weekend, but managed to get it going again.
Wrote this up from memory, but pretty sure its right.
I needed to do this because download didn't work, ie Volume up + plug usb to PC = download mode and if you start the patched lgup and it doesn't find your v20.
At this point, I thought the phone was bricked, so had nothing to lose.
Install fastboot and adb: link
Download H915 v10e KDZ . H91510e_00_VTR_CA_OP_1205.kdz.
Download latest LT Extractor SW . https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2600575
Run the extractor sw, select the kdz file downloaded above and extract DZ file from it
Select DZ file, and extract lafxxx.bin
REMOVE ANY NUMBER FROM THE NAME OF FILES and change ext to .img ( SUPPOSE YOU GET laf21345.bin THEN RENAME TO laf.img)
Note that laf is "LG Advanced Flash".* It loads download mode and lets you write a new kdz.
Copy laf.img to folder with fastboot installed in step 1
Download and install lg v20 usb driver, under "LG Universal Mobile Drivers Download" at this link:

Hold Volume down then plug usb to PC to put phone into fastboot mode.
Go to windows Device Manager, and should be a row for android.* Click and make sure its working properly.
Run Command.com, go to folder with fastboot,then run
fastboot devices
fastboot responds with device info.* If not, figure out why before proceeding.
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase laf
fastboot*flash*laf laf.img
fastboot reboot
exit
You should be able to connect in download mode now.
Hi guys,
I recently got a v50 and tried to flash custom ROM.
I followed this guide to unlock.
It worked well, I could unlock the device successfully. But when I flashed the custom ROM/Magisk thorugh TWRP, I flashed into a wrong slot, which led it to boot into only bootloader.
Since I could not get into the download mode, I tried to extract img files from kdz (V500N21a_00_LGU_KR_OP_0903) and flash them through QFIL. I followed this guide (v50backup files from this post did not work for me, so I decided to extract img files from kdz and use them).
This worked well, it gave me download mode back.
With that download mode, I tried to flash it with LGUP. And I could flash it successfully. But when the device boots, it does not boot completely. It stuck at the U+5G logo.
I have tried to use two versions of LGUP (1.16 from here and 1.17 cmd tool from this korean dude). And these tools allow me to flash kdz (V500N21a_00_LGU_KR_OP_0903) successfully but I could not make phone to boot with any of them...

and it shows that slot is not bootable... (fastboot getall var result)
What can I do now? I can not find what is the problem to fix... Any suggestions please? Thank you very much in advance!
