i dont have any music player, in cm always will be great apollo, but in my preinstalled cm11s i cant see this app.
anyone knows why ?

After flashing a custom ROM and the appropriate gapps, my music app is gone... the default one...
Where do i get it from?
You have Android Market on your rom now?
If you can access Market, try to search Google Music.
Its on Market and can download it.

I flashed AOKP on my Nexus S 1923 and i dont find the music app. (I did flashed the Gapps after a fresh install)
It also happens to me when I flash the CODENAME ANDROID Rom or Nexus Beam.

Pull it out of another rom's zip?
Search for Play Music in market or google for the APK. You could also look for cm9 music or Apollo. Very similar.
Or as the poster above wrote, extract it from any other rom that has it in it and put it in /system/app , set permissions and reboot.
Or just install as normal apk should do fine aswell I think.

I basically need app with folder option to play...
I use my P1000 as main source of music in my car, so when i´m driving i need an easy way to change music.
I was using Poweramp but now i found this apk (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1681250), installed and it is perfect, so i´m sharing the information with other P1000 users.
indeed a nice app.
but Facebook inside xperia doesn't work....
I installed via recovery, but cannot find the Sony app. I can only find the media rescanner app. Any ideas?

what rom are you in?
stock samsung or AOSP based?
(For aosp roms install non xperia stock fw addon.zip via cwm after installing the main zip,get it from update 6 mediafire folder)
I installed a ROM, it deleted the stock music player app. I got the apk of the app(stock music player) but it won't install. I tried to move it to system/aaps and install it. Didnt work. I tried to change the permissions to rw-r-r and reboot. Still no. I then tried to delete the music player that came with the ROM and install the stock one but still didn't work. Please help me!

on which os are you running???
Jelly bean 4.2.2 also on slim bean ROM.

if u really need that stock player
1. try installing stock rom again
2. backup the stock music player using titanium backup.
3. reflash the rom u want.
4. now restore the stock music player using titanium backup.
