My canvas 2 has been locked via the pattern code as I have used the wrong code greater than the number of attempts. Now my phone is locked and I cannot unlock it
Please help me to unlock it without loosing any data ?

Hi, your i5800 can be unlocked using the unlock code which you can get from Classicunlocking . its very easy quick . here you didn't mentioned your network, so check here for your network , if its available , you can get the code easily..

I've bought an Xperia Pro from Fido ( Canada ) and want to get into the Rooting community.
First I want to unlock my bootloader for which SE as a method but you must have a "SIM-Free"/Unlocked phone.
My question is... If I buy an Unlock from www(DOT)cellunlocker(DOT)net ( sorry, can't post outside links ) for my phone will it unlock my phone so I can unlock the bootloader? Or will I have to use SETool?
Sorry, I'm a Noob with unlocking and read on some forum that "using a unlock code will not cut it"

Yes, either SEtool or Omnius. SEtool on forum is remote as it requires dongle, and Omnius is standalone.
