I have an rooted Andriod set having Kitkat.
Can anyone please let me know how to disable reject call with SMS feature form my phone. It has happened lot of times that while taking out my phone from pocket to attend someones call, it disconnected the call and send SMS to to the caller. I want to completely disable this feature. Since I have a rooted phone I think it is possible. If any one can please tell me...

Call rejection
Setup call rejection messages
In call rejection option two options available
Auto reject mode
Auto reject list
Now set these settings as you want. ..

When someone calls my phone gives me three opion
1. Attend the call
2. Reject the call
3. Reject with SMS
I want to completely remove the third option.

I wonder if there's any call management software (?) that can block certain numbers - forward those call to voice mail or turn my phone into -"unavailable" status as if the phone were off!

Try MagicCall. It blocks known numbers, beside of a lot of other stuff.
But its not free

You could try CallFirewall http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=307178 which I've used quite a lot on my Athena to block withheld numbers when its cooked into ROMs. Hoping it works for my new Topaz!
Call Firewall works in Diamond2. Unfortunately, the phone still rings once before it stops unwanted call. There is no option such as pick up and hang up. The startup screen may not hiden in some senario, until I tap minimize in the menu. I return back to Call SMS Blocker even it is not quite finger friendliness and not easy to view the call log in TF3D.
Question how it works

The calling side hears like my phone is not available or he hears couple of rings and then like i hang up on purpose?

i am using nexus s (unrooted) and i have two things to know from you guys.
1. if i call someone and he is already in a call, i don't see any notification on my screen that my call is waiting. is there any app for that?
2. if i am in a meeting, i want to reject a incoming call with sms. which app is best for that?
i am not an expert. please help.

I'm not sure what you mean about the first question, but I'll attempt to answer both. I don't believe there's an app that tells you when someone is on the phone, but sometimes (depending on carrier) there will be a beep after each ring that signifies the person you want to call is already on the phone. The other indication is a busy signal, your phone will hang up almost immediately after receiving it.
I believe almost all call rejection apps have the option to send texts to the caller once it has been declined. Search the market for 'call rejection' and download whichever one that doesn't require root.

ok this is a weird problem
my own fault
phone is the OnePlus one obviously.
have been having ongoing small problem with the dialer, as i use DW dialer.
sometimes when i went to make an outgoing call the stock dialer would also load and i would have to push the call button twice.
small problem but annoying.
so i went into the settings>apps>phone
and cleared the phone setting >launch by default.
this has fixed the outgoing calls problem
however now when i have incoming calls it doesnt bring up the window to let me answer them. the phone kind of hangs while the incoming call is ringing.
i can get back to the home screen. but there is no way to answer the call.
so i need a way to reassign the incoming calls to the phone.
i dont get any notification on the phone itself. just the ringing phone.
there is no way at all to answer the call - cant swipe down.
the only thing i can do is wait for the call to end. then see who is in my missed calls and ring them back.
please help

I've been having this problem for a few days now. Phone rings but no UI for me to answer the phone call. Any solution to this yet? Thanks.
U have to tell which ROM u r using. There should be some option in settings for accidental phone wake up (Something like that), you have to disable that. Search in the settings.
I have updated to 5.1.1 but problem is its not showing the name when incoming call....only showing first letter of the name how can we find who is calling
I've just solved this problem on my phone - I'd blocked notifications from Dialler:
Settings --> App Notifications --> Dialler --> Deselect Block

In my Note 4 i could uncheck the popup option when incoming calls came.. I dont like the small answer meny.
In my S6 i don't find that option? Sometimes incoming call screen is in full screen, but sometimes it is only the little popup that is visible.
Its depending on what program are running i think..
Is it possible to not use answer popup?
Its in call ui u can delete from system app.i dont know its safe or not but u must rooted.
I have Chinese version of Skype. It works perfectly....IF...I start it up once manually after every power up on my Mate 9.
If I don't start it manually....it does not respond to incoming Skype calls or show the orange notifications of incoming Skype calls that were missed.
I gave the app EVERY permission possible...including WRITE to system...but still can not get it to respond to incoming calls unless I start it manually once.
Any thoughts or settings one wouldn't think of?

Maybe lock Skype in the recent menu,when you press recent button click the lock for Skype.
