I tried to flash a CM11 rom and had some boot loop issues.
Tried to wipe everything and reinstalling using both TWRP, CWM and Philz touch. Nothing Worked.
Rolled back to Stock ROM (4.4.3) and got my phone back, however: My WIFI toggle wouldn't work.
Don't know what is happening and can't find a way to make it work again. Can someone help me out over there?

Hello,
I am having an issue after publishing the gingerbread update to my G2x today. It has no service shows a ? in the battery and will not respond to any sim card or manually reapplying the update. When I go into the about phone section of settings and look at the status it does not show any information other than 999% for battery, the MAC address because WIFI still works, and will not populate the phones IMEI or anything. Any ideas on how to fix the issue? Thanks so much for the help.

Update
after alot of research last night i found that the phones basebands are the issue. I am now attempting to find a way to flash the original bands onto the phone. The stock images and other options available online right now are not working. I have returned the phone back to stock without root at this point. ( it was unrooted with gingerbread update, that for some reason killed the baseband) I had to root the phone to install the original froyo image to the phone, then i removed root. Does anyone have a process to return the working baseband to the phone? I used the lg updater to get gingerbread by the way and i did not have root.

if you want to change kernel just download a kernel and flash it but at this point if you have the device
rooted just try a custom rom which has a non stock kernel.
Make sure before the installation when you get into the recovery to wipe cache/dalvik and do a factory rest.
go dev section , there is lots kernels you can choice.
backup in recovery , and then wipe cache and dalvik

Try to do a full wipe (hard reset). I don't have this issue after upgrading from 2.3.6 -> 4.0.4
Hello,
I have me to problem with Android 4.0.4.
I think is not finish.
Try a custom rom if you want a stable version.
I had the same problem with Pixel Rom 1.70, if I locked the phone with the power button no problem but if I locked the phone with some widget (I tried different widget/application...always the same problem) the screen turned on.
BTW now I have flashed CyanogenMod 9 v5 and I solved the problem
Good thinking..

I installed Android 4.0.4 with the image factory through fastboot. after this bug I did a full wipe but the problem is still there.I'll try to flash other roms but the thing that is clear to me is that other users do not have this bug.
Now I also have this "bug"...again.
But not always...sometimes.
For the moment I have the CM9 and if I use the widget button "Go to sleep", i don't have problems.
Anyway the power button works always
So if this problem there is only with apps maybe the reason is because the aren't fully compatible with ICS (4.0.4) yet.
Someone else with this problem?
solution ;-)
after testing I realized that the application was not compatible. I solved the problem by downloading the application of Katecca ----> "Screen Off and Lock" download on google play
I flashed a root rom, didn't work. Flashed a stock rom, phone turned on normally. All functions are working fine except that no sim card can be detected and the phone's IMEI is gone! During flashing of stock rom I didn't flash BL as that caused errors.
I used a 7.0 stock rom, should I use 6.01 instead?
Edit: Camera and home button seems to have issues too. Can't use the home button without opening camera, and camera doesn't work.
Is your S7 fake?
Where did you get the stock rom from?
Did you write down or remember the "Build Number" before you flash your phone?
If Yes, redownload the stock rom that with the same "Build Number" and reflash with the latest Odin.
Also, make sure to enable USB debugging and OEM unlock.
When You use odin to flash a stock rom to your phone, make sure it look something like this on your computer before you click Start:

hello folks,
today at breakfast i dropped my phone on aprox 1 or 2 centimeter distance to the desk. it was working fine after that. but touchscreen feel kind a glitchy on youtube so i thought maybe a reboot would fix it.
soon as i reboot my phone, it entered to bootlop.
my phone was Rooted also had TWRP recovery. then i checked sammobile for firmware, unpaid servers are down untill tomorrow. then i found samfirm downloader which from here, downloaded my firmware for N915F with TUR settings.
