Hello,
I am having an issue after publishing the gingerbread update to my G2x today. It has no service shows a ? in the battery and will not respond to any sim card or manually reapplying the update. When I go into the about phone section of settings and look at the status it does not show any information other than 999% for battery, the MAC address because WIFI still works, and will not populate the phones IMEI or anything. Any ideas on how to fix the issue? Thanks so much for the help.

Update
after alot of research last night i found that the phones basebands are the issue. I am now attempting to find a way to flash the original bands onto the phone. The stock images and other options available online right now are not working. I have returned the phone back to stock without root at this point. ( it was unrooted with gingerbread update, that for some reason killed the baseband) I had to root the phone to install the original froyo image to the phone, then i removed root. Does anyone have a process to return the working baseband to the phone? I used the lg updater to get gingerbread by the way and i did not have root.

all my NANDs are showing the wrong date and the wrong time. apparently, my phone has gone back to the future and all my backups are from like 1970. I've installed CWM from the play store, updated recovery, etc., but it still does this. anyone else seen this?

This is a known problem and had many threads about it. So far there seem to be two " fixes" first, use ROM manager to make nand and make it before starting.... It gives you the option. Second just added text to the end of what it is a backup of (heard mixed reviews of this working) I can't vouch for either personally because I just remember what my couple are of.

hello there ...
i have question about JB update and lost 3G connection : is it possible to get 3G working again without RMA ?
and that's the story behind this :
after buying this device i got an automated OTA update for ICS on the first switching on. after this the system was very instable, so that some programs wouldn't install/start in the first, and android itself very often crashed at last. so i red many threads here, how to make a clean reinstallion of ICS. here where very good noob-friendly guides , so that my device runs very fine after that, only with one exception; the 3G modem. it find all providers in my area, but it won't connect to anything. the only message i got is "Cannot connect at the moment, please try again later !". at this point i decided to change to JB (after testing it with several SIM-cards), with the hope to get it working again. but that was a false conclusion; it never comes back to fully functionality. the rest of all works on opposite very good now.
edit: i've not rootet or installed any custom recovery on my tf300tg.
if its not a simcard issue (check if it works with other phones) I think that your tablet is defective, not a software issue.
Sir there is already a thread that you can discuss your problems here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1928865
Thanks and

I tried to flash a CM11 rom and had some boot loop issues.
Tried to wipe everything and reinstalling using both TWRP, CWM and Philz touch. Nothing Worked.
Rolled back to Stock ROM (4.4.3) and got my phone back, however: My WIFI toggle wouldn't work.
Don't know what is happening and can't find a way to make it work again. Can someone help me out over there?

I need help removing the custom ROM FRP lock in my S7 but i don't know the CSC or what carrier it was originally form as i got it used, anyone who can help would be in my debt. i should note that the Smart Switch method doesn't work as it wont connect properly via USB.
I am open to any and all solutions and/or alternatives.
would it be easier to just send it in or buy a octoplus stick?
EDIT: I don't have anything important on it so I'm fine if i have to reformat or wipe the PIT
EDIT2: I think it may have been Bell but I'm not 100% sure

I'm not sure what do you mean, you mean:
You have a custom ROM that has a FRP Lock? if so, then you probably have TWRP, which makes it super easy to solve!
You have a stock ROM, but you tried to play with OS probes and ended up with an error regards uncertified modifications? Then it's also easy to solve, check the internet, there are guaranteed ways of passing FRP even on Binary 8 Firmware.
The 2nd methods works if you can actually boot into system*
You may check the recovery and the logs to find what Firmware is on your phone, and which CSC/PDA it has, and yes, the stock recovery has the ability to show you them.
Hello Guys.
Since few days I'm fighting with my phone. One day I decided to Root my Realme 8i (RMX3151) and install Any different ROM. I did it and At First Look it was done well. But I realized that My IMS, Carrier don't Work. IMEI was corrupt. I repaired My IMEI etc. System
I was receiving a notification from the system "SIM 1 not provisioned":

}
It was hard fight.
When I Wiped my Data/Dalvik/Cache and after boot I can see that my phone is Connected with SIM Provider.
SO one problem is gone but new appear.
TOUCH is not working. Cant click on anything. OTG on that stage is not working too. Only in TWRP.
In ADB after GETEVENT I get this:
It looks like there is no TouchPanel at all.
I think that I found drivers in firmware files but how to inject them into phone.
It's Goodix gt1xx chip driver
Thanks for any help
