Hello everyone,
i bricked my HTC One S device. There's no OS on it right now, but i can access bootloader (says HBOOT-2.15, S-ON, unlocked, RADIO 1.15.50.05.29) and CWM Recovery (v6.0.4.8).
It should be no problem for me to install another ROM, but: I can't establish a USB connection.
I tried it on multiple computers, with the proper HTC drivers installed on each but the device won't show up even in windows device manager. When in fastboot mode and connected to an AC power supply it doesn't even say "FASTBOOT AC", but the usb cable is definetly not broken!
anyone got an idea?
thanks in advance
Maybe try USB OTG?

hi. i'm having problem in connecting my device in bootloader..
i used to be able to connect with PDAnet in bootloader without any problem, but now all i have is "connecting to your phone". I've downloaded the USB driver package from the sdk but still no luck..
any idea ?
*yes i search the XDA forum and try following the guides but i still have no luck*
have you tried the connection on another computer?
sometimes the computer USB ports tends to go crazy and wont work with the device no matter what
there's an utility (forgot the name) that lets you delete all the bugged USB associations in the PC
if you can find that, then you can try it as well

Hi xda, I need some help here on my lenovo A850.
Whenever I plugged it to my pc, it don't pop up any usb connection option and my pc didn't even detect it.
I can't use flashtool since pc didn't detect my phone.
What should I do?
I've rooted it using framaroot and installed cwm using mtk uncle.
Should I just try and flash other rom via cwm?
Really appreciate any help from anyone here.
Have a nice day.

Do you hear the windows sounds of connecting / disconnecting devices? If not, your cable must not working...
Else, try installing the USB drivers from here.
You can install roms from CWM BUT if anything goes wrong, flash tool can almost always fix it.
So i advice you, before installing anything make sure that your phone can connect to flash tool.

Do not expect to connect to flashtool if it doesn't connect to your PC.
From what you are saying it seems to me that the cable or the phone or the USB port has problem.
Try these: (until you hear a windows sound or see the phone charging)
- Try an other USB port
- Try on an other PC
- Try an other cable
- Try mounting from Recovery?
You can also try installing the USB drivers from the link i gave you in my previous post...
