You can download any boot animation from anywhere as long as its the proper resolution for our phone (400x800)
In the main forum, go to Android development and hacking, and then Android themes. They have a few there

First I would like to say that I don't take any credit for this ROM. I am not a dev just simply providing the links to a stock AOKP ROM.
http://androtransfer.com/?developer=AOKP&folder=grouper
All thanks goes to AOKP team and their outstanding work!
Of course, I don't take responsibility for damaged devices, but this is xda so I'm sure we can get it up and running in no time.
- Includes ROM control (kang from aokp)
- Includes AOKP toggles
- Lock screen options, battery and navigation customizations
- Root with SuperSu
- Stock Browser
You will need to flash your own gapps, which can be found here ( just download latest jb version):
http://goo.im/gapps/
This ROM is basically yours to customize from the ground up so Enjoy!
1. Wipe data / factory reset and cache/dalvik.
2. Flash ROM then gapps.
3. (Optional) Flash preferred kernel.
4. System Reboot and Enjoy the reasons why we all use android.
Those who want tablet ui take a look here. All you need is a rooted nexus 7 and file explorer to edit build.prop

Been running this for a few hours. Really impressed by the number of customizations but it feels a bit laggier than the rest of the roms.
Edit: I think it's just me.

Installed and running nice and smooth for me.
Won't boot with motley's 1.1.1 (had the same issue with the previous builds).

Seems to boot OK with Trinity 91. Wonder what the deal is?

Yes.
Ok, so it did not boot on motley 1.1.1 but booted on Clemsyn's 1.8 kernel. Wonder what the deal is.
Can anyone else verify that this will not boot on Motley 1.1.1?
I just flashed motley 1.1.1 and it booted for me. Try wiping cache and dalvik.

I re-downloaded and got it to boot. Not sure why that worked as I was using the previous download with PA.
I do notice a little tear in the splash screen when using motley/Clemsyn, probably when the GPU OC is activated.
Also, the lockscreen battery percentage seems to be stuck on 100%.
I came from pa ROM too, just flashed both kernels, and lock screen shows the correct percentage for me.
-------------------------
When I first boot the lockscreen is stuck at 100 but after the apps load it recalculates and works on my device.

No problems here. Running Trinity Kernel wiht OC GPU and OC to 1.6 Ghz and runs smooth as. Battery could improve a bit but its still first build.
Love the customization options on AOKP!!
This one from play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=adaptive.cogid&hl=en
Is it safe to use? Running cm10.1 Jenkins 4.2.2 jelly bean rc5
I'm scared about it changing the device Id then when it reboots it might not reboot I'm scared of that because before I used a pixel density changer before and it changed it rebooted but was stuck at cm10 sign, so I'm afraid of that but if it does work then that means I. How do I turn on CRT animation in slim bean build 7 for gt-i9100. It was on when I first flashed it, but somehow I turned it off. I see the option CRT animations in Interface settings but it ain't working. Also isn't there a task manager.. like the good old Neat rom where once in a while you can free some RAM...

Hello, I'm using the rom alpha 5 CM12 with 3.10.40 kernel on my D2306 (Android 5.0.2) and want to know how to back up my system or installing a cwm or TWRP why the recovery cyanogen has no backup option.
I was actually wondering about the same thing a while back why does the CM Recovery has no option for backup/restore (these options are very important) yet they aren't supported by CM Recovery... I asked a similar question some time ago but didn't get any answer and few others. @lozohcum
