You can download any boot animation from anywhere as long as its the proper resolution for our phone (400x800)
In the main forum, go to Android development and hacking, and then Android themes. They have a few there

Hi,
Are there any informations about the CyanogenMod for our phones? At all Samsung it works very good but there isn't CM for our SG3. Has anyone any info about CM?
To mod: haree - I'm really sorry for post in development. I'm sleepy and I click on wrong sub-forum. Again sorry.

The makers of Cyanogen Mods don't own samsung phones. They own HTC phones. So the chances of them porting to the SG3 it's very low. Specially since it's a lower end phone compared to the Fascinate and Spica. I think there's a CM for SGS.
They might not be having this phone but saying that they do not work on low end device is incorrect. Htc wild fire is also a low end phone. Gs3 is better than buzz in many ways.

Cyanogen Mod ROMs arent there yet for SG3. That said, we do have quite a decent number of custom ROMs available. There is a thread specifically for this ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=950560
It has all custom ROMs, FIXes, THEMEs and such... Hope it helps those needing a custom ROM.

Custom ROM, yes. But I'm dreaming about Gingerbread for SG3. Not theme for LaucherPro or custom framework. Real Gingerbread like in CM.
no man, no rom can be compared to CM mod other than kyrillos' rom, and even that isnt just as 'customizable as CM mod! besides CM mod is ginger bread whereas all other custom roms are im pretty sure froyo!
i have cyanogen mod 7 on my Samsung Galaxy 3 and it has android 2.3.4. first i rooted it using super click and then flash it through odin

One question regarding this, even though it might be a little off-topic. What does it take for a Cyanogenmod port to become official, like getting it to show up on the Cyanogenmod website? I know there are people working on this port for the G3 which are not involved in the Cyanogenmod project, so is there any way to get it official even or is it just like another custom rom?
Ok this is my second mod for CM7 7/21/11 version done by jt1134. Thanks again to jt for his great work.
These are Transition Animations if you dont know what they are or would like to preview them just search youtube for android transition animations it should show you what these will look like.
I did not create these animations and i do not take credit for them all i have done is add the animations in the framework-res so they can be flashed via cwm.
I am not responsible for what YOU do to your phone!
Only for Mesmerize CM7 ver. 7/21/11
Blur Animation : Blur_Animations.zip
Bounce Animation: Bounce_Animations.zip
Drop In Animation: Drop_In_Animations.zip
Flip Animation: Flip_Animations.zip
Fly In Animation:Fly_In_Animations.zip This is my personal favorite!
Stock Animation: Stock_Animations.zip If you would like to go back to original Animations.
Just flash in cwm.
Hope You Enjoy!
Thanks I like em using flying

Running the Fly in animation as well. Very smooth and working fine. Thanks
Hello,
Can these animations be installed on other phones? I have a Desire HD also with CM7 and didn`t find these animations specifically for my device/rom (yet). The Mesmerize has the same resolution as the DHD, so would these work for me?
Thanks,
Ivan.

No as they use the Mes framework. However if you use the UOT Kitchen you can get them from there.

Title says it all. Running nexusmod4 and romracer 0.3 kernel...looking for the samsung galaxy s lte boot animation (the one with the particles that fly in and form an S). I know there are roms that include it, but I just need the boot animation itself to stick in system/media

Hi guys does anybody know which kernel is the best for any jelly bean rom (I'm running Liquid Smooth rom 4.1.2 ). Thank you all!
There really ain't much variety. You are probably better of sticking with the kernel each respective Rom includes.
Most JB roms use scott's kernel source, while some have their own kernel (cypher, aocp)..

I'm glad to see someone else ask this first. Which Infuse JB ROM's actually have their own Kernels? After flashing LiquidSmooth & Scott's Unofficial and seeing the same Samsung Galaxy S splash screen staring at me from my Infuse, I figured they were all the same.

Yes that was pointed out to me in the thread I made. Maybe you can answer another question? Is the "Samsung" splash screen hard wired into the phone or is it also in the Kernel? Because right now I see it flash the original "Samsung" screen, then the "Galaxy S Cyanogen Mod" screen and finally my boot animation. How many "Splash screens are there?
