Secret WhatsApp allows users to encrypt their original WhatsApp's notifications. Sometimes we require privacy about some personal contacts. Guys, till now we have just used some locking and blocking apps for the purpose of privacy. But what about that condition when you are giving your cell to someone else and your gf or bf says "I love you darling!!!" on WhatsApp ? Uff!! You have already locked your WhatsApp by other apps but someone else can read your message easily by pulling down notification bar

I watched the demo and couldn't understand what it was about. Monitor different locations weather and other security alerts? I also couldn't pay attention long enough to see how it integrated with your mobile phone.

From what I've seen it provides a way to send a message to defined groups. Emergency contacts is the one that is prebuilt. You send one message and it goes to everyone in the group. The news thing looks like a way to keep up with info that might affect family/friends who live way from you.
It is a desktop app, but if you activate your phone, you can send and recieve alerts from the system via sms.
I'm sending feedback that I'd like to see a dedicated mobile app.

Many people decided not to buy Android-based devices because of that. So, we decided to post an issue to Google, Inc. and OHA and asked about the abitily to let or not let the apps use Internet - such points as "Allow", "Allow once", "Deny" or something like that. New to this forum, wanted to share this app I wrote to get rid of spam sms. I dont know about other countries but its a big menace here in India. This is a very simple app, wrote over a weekend, totally free and has no adds or any such nags. Hoping this would be helpful to someone. Comments and suggestions welcome.
Features:
1. Block sms if sender is not in contacts.
2. Block duplicate sms.
3. Add sender to “Allowed List”.
4. Optional status bar notification.
5. Restore blocked sms to inbox.
6. Automatic & manual deletion of collected spam.

I don't really have much use for it at the moment, but it looks great, and is a good idea.

Wanted to know which application is there in Google Play store which can secretly save the text messages and call logs of the Phone without the user who actually is using the phone. Secretly means no notifications should be shown on the status bar and it should run on the background.
For e.g. If parents want to give their child a phone and want to keep an eye on them, then they can install this application so that even if child deletes the contents of SMS/Call logs, then also parents would come to know what they had been doing as the contents of the SMS along with other necessary information would be saved by the application on the device.
If there is no such app yet developed by anyone then would request you to have a look into the same.
