WM 6.1 Rom German - i am searching for.....

Hi, i ´m new on the Universal corner.
i am searching for an German WM6.1 Rom and some .cab Files.
First the ROM: 6.1, german, small and fast. in the moment i use Maxstegi 4.7.
also im searching for the Cab files from "Resco Explorer, TomTom incl. Cards for Europe, and Sprite Backup.
Is there a chance to use the cam over Skype?

I think it´s a small and very fast base vor a good system - but is there a chance to get the soft keyboard in Qwertz instead of Querty?

Well, you must be quite new, too. Otherwise you would have noticed that this question has been asked quite a million times before. And usually people answer the way like: "It depends on what you want and like..."

Nevertheless I am so bold to give you two hints:
1. If you're not sure, use the pre- installed ROM.
2. If you are sure, give Maxstegi's a try. Still, if you don't like it, use the kitchen to adapt it to your needs!

Es gibt nur eines und das heisst maxstegi V5.2.
Hat aber noch immer zu viele Soft Resets. dafür kann man eine Vanilla Version mit der Kitchen ganz einfach selber machen.
Ich benutze Tomal 8.2, kann einfach mehr und läuft stabiler.

Hi, könntet ihr bitte Links zu den genannten ROMs angeben? Ich probiere gerade viel rum und hatte u.a. auch schon die 6.5.3 v4.3 ROM von Nokster drauf, aber ich habe eine deutsche Tastatur und außerdem lassen sich einige Programm nicht im 6.5.x installieren, deswegen möchte ich wieder auf die 6.1. zurück, aber eine angepasste.

First of all, excuse me that I have not translated my post. I just thought that only Germans would read this thread so that it wouldn't make a difference.
Thanks for the tip on universal ROMs, I didn't even know those existed. I took a look at some of them but from those I have checked, they are mostly for WM Pro (touchscreen devices) and quite heavy. Other than that it seems to be a good idea for me to try out some of them but I haven't seen any below the 64MB RAM requirement since the i600 is not equipped with that much power.
Since you happen to have read this, may I ask you if you can tell me how to change the keyboard layout? I have a German built SGH-i600 and I am using the Nokser 6.1 v2 ROM which is only providing the English keyboard mapping. So Y and Z are swapped and most of the Fn+combinations and symbols.
Any help is appreciated.

MPX 200 - No WM6 Upgrade-Possible? Perhaps there is an answer to the problem!

Am Wochenende kam mein neues MPX 200 an. Als ich es auf Windows Mobile 6 updateted ging alles gut. Allerdings war es nur ein Test und ich änderte einen Tag später das ROM. Und seit dem passierte es: Nichts!
Das bekannte Problem, dass der Bildschirm des MPX 200 schwarz blieb trat ein.
Ich laß viel in Foren und kam zu dem Schluss: dein MPX 200 ist inkompatibel mit WM6.
Doch, ich gab nicht auf. Beim ersten Mal hatte es doch auch geklappt.
Wie ich lernen musste, beziehungsweise erkannte, durch einen "Unfall". Einen glücklichen Unfall:
Nämlich: Ich hatte das MPX 200 gerade erst aus der Packung genommen, geflashed, und dann VOR dem Hardreset zwar vom PC - Strom genommen, aber direkt (!) an das Ladekabel gesteckt. Hiernach führte ich den Hardreset aus, und fortan klappte das Flashen mit JEDEM Rom!
Probiert es aus und schreibt eure Ergebnisse!

MPx200 phones with Samsung ROM chips works with all WM versions, but there is some revisions with different chips and works only with WM2002/2003. To flash WM5/6 to these phones You need to flash it first with one of the WM5 chinese ROMs, but that's not working at all

I don't know If i got a Samsung Rom Chip, Win_XP. All I wanted to say was:
At first, I've got the same problem reported by many users: Black screen, no Flashing-Process.
I changed the way of flashing (Don't remove Battery, put on charge) and it's working. Perhaps, that's a solution for the MPX's with Samsung Roms...i only wanted to share it.

I've been using xda's ROMs, but he hasn't had time to work on them in a while, so his is still an older build with the old interface. You're ROM appears to be pretty clean as well, which is something I've been looking for. I would try a Cracing ROM, but I don't really want the modified start menu.
I downloaded yours, but haven't flashed it yet... I'll let you know how it goes once I do.

Route 66 Maps v9.1.8686

I have bought the new navigation software from Route 66 and installed it on my HTC HD2.
Installation is no problem but when you try to use the programm is return almost always an error message such like "Error! The applications has encountered an exception and it will be closed"
Already informed the help desk from HTC and Route 66 about this; HTC cannot comment on 3rd parties software and Route 66 will have a look at it, but I still have paid for a non working product .
Am I alone with this or are there more people with this issue ?
Perhaps they have found already a solution for this and may be able to help me ?

ein freund von mir und ich haben das gleiche Problem. Wir haben uns die Route 66 Maps (Version 9x) gekauft und auf dem HTC HD2 installiert. Es treten immer wider Application Error auf. Desweiteren will die Version stäündig Online gehen was auch nervt.
Ich hoffe wir finden auf diesen Wege eine Lösung für das Problem.
Allerdings muss man wohl "Kinderkrankheiten" bei einer neuen Software Version und neuem Handy Modell in kauf nehmen.

I have exactly the same problem with version 9. I had version 8, which was much more stable. Unfortunately, I think we'll have to wait for a new release of Route66 to fix those problems. Release 9.1.8686 is the first release of version 9.
1 year and a half ago, it was exactly the same with version 8 and a touch diamond.... till the first fixes were out...

Same Problem to me. I also use R66 v.9.1 and I got the application error messages. Before I migrated the license from my omnia 900 to my new HD2 everything was fine. I have installed the app on a naked system also together with certain other software-apps. The result was always the same. I've contacted the R66-Service but I still haven't got any reply so far. My ROM on HD2 is 1.48.407.1 GER

Since I have used version 7 and 8 on symbian I was hoping for another good working products from Route 66, however I'm very disappointed at the moment.
According their website HTC HD2 is supported, when encountering the problem and provided them with screenshots I received a reply with thank you for you support, but after not hearing from them for more than 2 weeks I have requested for a refund as I don think it's normal to pay for a non workable product.
And perhaps you already guess it: no respond from Route 66 helpdesk what so ever.

After install of update ROUTE66_Maps_WM_9.1.8963.30393 I noticed a big improvement however the latest update ROUTE66_Maps_WM_9.1.9008.31762 sets me back with again all kinds of error messages, what are the people behind Route 66 doing? I think I will change navigation software as I'm now waiting almost half a year for this software to work on my HD2

NOW i have downloaded the R66 V9.. i will test this APP. then i will report here if it can be work

I just got a message from HTC that the problem is caused by a certain version of HTC ROM (Mine is 3.13.404.0). There is no solution..............
This version has a different type of memory management and that will not work with Route66 v9.
I've sent a question what to do from here since i never could have guessed this problem and i paid for a product i cannot use.

is there any improvement/news concerning this issue by now?
I mean; I use at the present time Artemis ROM V.46 on my HD2 and Route 66 v9.1.9008.31762 and I always get this error message "The applications has encountered an exception and it will be closed", when I try to search for a place or to navigate.
Is this version of Route 66 maybe working with the latest Artemis ROM V.61?
Does anyone has any experience with this combination?

Best version for our MX headunits till now.. because it made for it!!
This is the Best UI that I ever saw, Husky v2.. Best of them all.. Absolutely you guys gonna love it.. I have it just to fast installed, that's means, I need a few hours for finishing and updating and uploading things with my to weak wifi receiving, that is due to the distance between car and home wifi router unfortunately.. will continue with the installations in the afternoon.. I will be back.. no I'm not Arno.. haha.

1. Die Googel Sprachausgabe für die TTS für die Straßennamen geht nicht.
2. Kann ich meine SD-Karte nicht als internen Speicher formatieren.
3. Werden die Kalenderdaten nicht syncronisiert
4. Das gleich gilt für die Kontakte
5. MTCDialer findet keine Rufnummern zu den Kontakten und kann sie dadurch nicht tätigen
6. MTCDialer kann man nicht auf die Lenkradtaste für die Sprachsteuerung legen da geht nur der Googel Assistent.
7. Buttons können nicht verschoben werden im Standard Design.

Die Bilder mit der Abfrage der E-Mail Adresse ist vom Kalender. Obwohl diese ja im Google Playstore hinterlegt ist.

Auf dem letzten Bild wird das Problem mit den sortieren der Buttons gezeigt. Ich kann hier keine Buttons auf die anderen Kacheln verschieben oder von den anderen Kacheln auf die erste legen.

Ich nutze aber DAB-Z und diese wird von allen anderen Standard Apps oder auch von PowerAmp auf pause gesetzt und nicht mehr aktiviert wenn amn die anderen Apps geschlossen hat.
So wie es mit der Rom von Hal9k die für den wechsel von Android 8 auf Android 9 dabei war.
Was aber im Video nicht gezeigt wurde war die Funktion der Lenkradtasten, sowie das formatieren einer SD-Karte so das dieses als Erweiterung für den interenen Speicher genutzt werden kann.

Tried today on my PX5 MX device. Everything works, I only have a problem when starting the device. When I start the device I get a streaky white screen and after I press the restart button the device starts normally.The fault occurs whenever I turn off and turn on my car.
I have installed MTCE_MX_V3.08

Check 2:10 to 2:25. These are steering wheel controlled actions.
Not sure about using SDCard as the internal memory.

GS is just a manufacturer fo a common platform (MTCD/MTCE based MCU units).
PX5 MTCE ROMS are compatible for all manufacturer MTCD/MTCE PX5 based Android units.
