[GER] Neues ext./ROM und Pakete aufspielen

Hi,
hab heute mein neues XDA neo bekommen, also ein Umtausch, weil beim alten der Lautspreche futsch ging, wegen WinAmp
So nun will ich das Teil mal richtig aufsetzen, d.h. dieses nervige O2 Rom usw. ruterhauen und was anständiges drauf tun.
Nun ist meine Frage:
-Welches Rom ist schön, schnell und brauchbar?
-Wie kann ich bei dem Rom selbst nur die Packete einzeln installieren die ich brauch
Quasi das dumme Telefon Paket von O2 nervt mich sowieso, schon allein der Hintergrund mit den "blubber Blasen" soll weg und was anständiges her und ich will halt auch nur Pakete(apps) drauf haben die ich benutzte

wär echt dankbar, wenn mir jemand ein ROM empfehlen würde und kurz ne erklärung wie genau das mit dem änderen der pakete des ROMs von statten geht.
ob ich 2 roms brauch, ext. und normales ROM oder ob das beides mit einer file geupdatet wird und ob ich radio-version technisch auch was updaten kann, danke

Bleib bei deinem original o2 ROM. So viel Müll ist da auch nicht drauf, wie man vermuten mag.
Die anderen ROMs die es hier gibt sind leider nicht schneller (was eher ein subjektives Gefühl ist anstatt ein objektives). Eine 200 Mhz CPU wird deinen Neo leider nicht schneller machen, auch ein anderes ROM wird kaum Geschwindigkeitsvorteile bringen.
Das geht nur, wenn man ein ROM komplett neu compiliert (von Quellcode durch Microsoft) speziell für deine CPU. Da dies aber nie der Fall sein wird werden die Treiber und die ganzen Routinen kaum schneller laufen.
Das einzige was geht ist, dass ein entsprechender neuer Patch von Microsoft (z.B. das AKU) rausgegeben wird, wo einiges in Sachen Geschwindigkeit getan wurde.
Leider wird dir keines dieser "gekochten" ROMs die du hier finden wirst, volle Funktionalität garaniteren können. Es ist nicht einmal sicher ob z.B. die Notnummern überhaupt korrekt abgelegt wurden usw.
Wenn du z.B. auf das PDAMobiz ROM zurückgreifen solltest, dann wirst du wesentlich mehr Müll bekommen, als z.b. ein original o2 ROM beinhaltet.

Well, if you want a 'safe upgrade' you can try the latest qtek rom which seems to have a few improvements (at least it made my device boot faster).
But it's in english but at least it doesn't come with the O2 stuff.
As Spatzm says using one of the homecooked roms might not give such a big improvement. The slowness of the device is indeed the slower 200mhz processor, so don't expect major improvements in that department.
But since you write this in german does that mean you want a german rom? There should be a german qtek 2.20 rom although I'm not sure that's up here for download (saw a question about it somewhere on the forum).
When you want to upgrade your device with the qtek rom then make sure you use the 'ROMUpdateUtility_NoID.exe' which you should find on the ftp site (you can find the ftp info in the wiki).
Upgrading with this rom should be relatively safe and is made by qtek so it's an official rom.

That is correct, well.. when you upgrade you cannot downgrade to put it down in short.
HTC is the manufacturer of the phone and they sell it to other companies who put their name and logo on it and then sell it to the end user. Such as O2 who put their branding and software on it etc.
But Qtek is also a company (which is actually the direct selling point of HTC) that sells the devices. And they also bring out updates for the device.
So *ahem* in short, Qtek is nor a provider nor a manufaturer but actually a company owned by HTC to sell their devices. hmmm.. so actually they kinda are the manufacturer
If you don't want to have all the extra stuff O2 automaticly installs then you can always do a hard-reset. At some point it will install the software automaticly and you can cancel that.
Another way is to install the qtek rom, and then you get the basic stuff qtek put in there But that all kinda depends on your personal preferences. Personally I like the qtek roms which are quite bare regarding programs that are automaticly installed. Then again my phone is from Qtek, so I don't know it any other way

i think, i want to cook my own rom - not sure what it means, but i think, its just extract and repack different roms and ext roms.

... ausser das bei mir auch mit diesem build keine Umlaute geschrieben werden können auf der Hardware Tastatur! Habe auch dem Umweg übers original von HTC mitgelieferte ROM versucht, bei diesem kann man Umlaute schreiben, wenn man aber wieder das neuste Build installiert ist das wieder nicht mehr möglich!

i dont understand wich changes you mean, my work is based on the official WWE version, i think an official german version does not yet exist.
If you want to run iGo8 and HTC Home without problems you should take the WM 6 build i testet it with the reconstructed T-Mobile version. I dont know about a solution to fix this for the new builds.

I have problems with BT and WLAN. When I use a BT headset, WLAN disconnects and when WLAN is active, sound in headset crackles. I will try another radio.

MPX 200 - No WM6 Upgrade-Possible? Perhaps there is an answer to the problem!

Am Wochenende kam mein neues MPX 200 an. Als ich es auf Windows Mobile 6 updateted ging alles gut. Allerdings war es nur ein Test und ich änderte einen Tag später das ROM. Und seit dem passierte es: Nichts!
Das bekannte Problem, dass der Bildschirm des MPX 200 schwarz blieb trat ein.
Ich laß viel in Foren und kam zu dem Schluss: dein MPX 200 ist inkompatibel mit WM6.
Doch, ich gab nicht auf. Beim ersten Mal hatte es doch auch geklappt.
Wie ich lernen musste, beziehungsweise erkannte, durch einen "Unfall". Einen glücklichen Unfall:
Nämlich: Ich hatte das MPX 200 gerade erst aus der Packung genommen, geflashed, und dann VOR dem Hardreset zwar vom PC - Strom genommen, aber direkt (!) an das Ladekabel gesteckt. Hiernach führte ich den Hardreset aus, und fortan klappte das Flashen mit JEDEM Rom!
Probiert es aus und schreibt eure Ergebnisse!

On the weekend, my new MPX 200 arrived. When I use it on Windows Mobile 6 updateted everything went well. However, it was just a test and I changed the ROM a day later . And since it happened: Nothing!
The well-known problem that the screen of the MPX 200, a black remained.
I read a lot in forums and came to the conclusion: My MPX 200 is incompatible with WM6.
But, I did not give up. The first time it had also worked. There MUST BE A WAY - i toughed.
As I had to learn, or recognized by an "accident". A happy accident:
I plugged the MPX 200 out of the PC-USB before I hardrested it. But I directly changed to another power source (Ladekabel) and did the Hardreset. I DID NOT REMOVED THE BATTERY. After this I carried out the hard reset, and now went with flashing EACH Rom!
Try it out and write down your results!

MPx200 phones with Samsung ROM chips works with all WM versions, but there is some revisions with different chips and works only with WM2002/2003. To flash WM5/6 to these phones You need to flash it first with one of the WM5 chinese ROMs, but that's not working at all

I don't know If i got a Samsung Rom Chip, Win_XP. All I wanted to say was:
At first, I've got the same problem reported by many users: Black screen, no Flashing-Process.
I changed the way of flashing (Don't remove Battery, put on charge) and it's working. Perhaps, that's a solution for the MPX's with Samsung Roms...i only wanted to share it.

Gear S2 - Changing Firmware from US to EU

Yes, it was not a smart move, to get me a Samsung Gear S2 classic
in New York on my vacation. After connecting with my german Note 4 it Sees
working well. Language and even time and date format was correct.
Also the keyboard.
But it seems impossible, to install s-voice in german or general voice recognition. Allowed languages are english, french, spanish and i think ... chinese.
And weather shows temperature just in degree Fahrenheit and not in celsius.
Has anybody an idea how to change the firmware to the european version.
The samsung Service here won't help because it's not from here.

As a Canadian living in the US and very tired of Fahrenheit, I would love to be able to do this as well. It seems some people have figured out ODIN access so it's probably only a matter of time before we can start to edit things like this. In the meantime, a workaround for the temperature thing at least: ask S-voice for the weather, then hit the mic button and say "show me that in Celsius". Two steps required unfortunately, but it will give you temps in C.

Oh as I see now.... you can now change from Fahrenheit to Celsius in the Gear Companion App .... go to App Setting. -》 Weather. (Since the update)

Not yet. But I didnt look in it for a while. But I would be very happy if someone got a solution.

As long as we have no pins...no odin. Maybe they are under the back of the watch but this mean to loose warranty and weather sealing..
I would say that is easyer to sell your watch as it is in germany and buy another with your local customization.

Yes, you can flash without pins by using NetOdin....

Hey anyone have a download-link for a flashable stock rom of the german version stock-rom?
I have bought the korean version of this watch and flashed the only rom i have found here but since this my watch don't find the last update which is now available. Any ideas?

Wie gesagt, dein Link ist die Firmware-Version die ich im vorangegangenen Post meinte. Das ist die einzige, die ich bisher im Netz gefunden habe. Ich hatte sie per NetOdin geflasht und sie funktionierte auch. Allerdings bekomme ich über dieses ROM nicht das aktuelle Update (R732XXU2CPB7) rein, welches bei der Korean-Version direkt kam.
Habe im Netz aber mehrfach gelesen, dass das Update auch in Deutschland schon lange ausgerollt wurde und verfügbar ist.

SO also ich habe das selbe Problem, nur mit einer Uhr aus Hong Kong! Habe Spanisch und Französisch aber kein Deutsch! Gibt es da jetzt schon eine gute Lösung? Da will man mal einen auf Pfennigfuchser machen und Tada!!!!:silly::silly::silly:

Leider keine Lösung bisher. Ich find es ein bisschen schade, dass im Netz Firmwares für UK oder Russland vorhanden sind, jedoch nicht für DE. Woher hast du die Französische und Spanische Variante?
Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass doch irgendwo im www die ganzen Firmwares vorhanden sein sollten. Für Samsung-Smartphones gibt es doch auch auf irgendeiner Homepage alle Firmwares zum Download...

My S2 is from Hong Kong and I've got s-voice chinese, English, French, Spanish and Italian language installed on it. But no germany. It realy freaks me out.
My complete watch got german language, but S-voice don't.

When I do a hard reset on my watch, it shows the firmware standard language before first phone connect. Before connecting the gear shows anything in Korean language.
Yeah and there is the S Voice problem

I do the downgrading thing here on XDA, this version is not updatable to the last one.
Then I searched the internet and found a version on "easyfirmware" but I have to pay for a 15day account, if i want to download that file.
The version is R732xxu2bol6 do anybody know from which area this firmware is?

Best version for our MX headunits till now.. because it made for it!!
This is the Best UI that I ever saw, Husky v2.. Best of them all.. Absolutely you guys gonna love it.. I have it just to fast installed, that's means, I need a few hours for finishing and updating and uploading things with my to weak wifi receiving, that is due to the distance between car and home wifi router unfortunately.. will continue with the installations in the afternoon.. I will be back.. no I'm not Arno.. haha.

1. Die Googel Sprachausgabe für die TTS für die Straßennamen geht nicht.
2. Kann ich meine SD-Karte nicht als internen Speicher formatieren.
3. Werden die Kalenderdaten nicht syncronisiert
4. Das gleich gilt für die Kontakte
5. MTCDialer findet keine Rufnummern zu den Kontakten und kann sie dadurch nicht tätigen
6. MTCDialer kann man nicht auf die Lenkradtaste für die Sprachsteuerung legen da geht nur der Googel Assistent.
7. Buttons können nicht verschoben werden im Standard Design.

Die Bilder mit der Abfrage der E-Mail Adresse ist vom Kalender. Obwohl diese ja im Google Playstore hinterlegt ist.
The pictures with the query of the e-mail address are from the calendar. Although this is deposited in Google Playstore.
Auf dem letzten Bild wird das Problem mit den sortieren der Buttons gezeigt. Ich kann hier keine Buttons auf die anderen Kacheln verschieben oder von den anderen Kacheln auf die erste legen.
In the last picture the problem with the sorting of the buttons is shown. I can not move buttons on the other tiles here or put them on the other tiles from the other tiles.
Dann seht ihr auch noch das der MCTDialer nicht geht.

Noch was ist mir aufgefallen das die DAB-Z von PowerAmp und den anderen Apps wie Google Assistent und Radio App und Videoplayer App auf pause gesetzt wird aber nach Beendigung von den jeweiligen Apps nicht mehr gestartet wird.

Tested the ROM. This is the best Android 9.0 ROM for PX5 so far in terms of performance and appearance. No time bug and split screen is working.

Das die standard Apps ohne Probleme laufen meine ich nicht.
Ich nutze aber DAB-Z und diese wird von allen anderen Standard Apps oder auch von PowerAmp auf pause gesetzt und nicht mehr aktiviert wenn amn die anderen Apps geschlossen hat.
So wie es mit der Rom von Hal9k die für den wechsel von Android 8 auf Android 9 dabei war.
Was aber im Video nicht gezeigt wurde war die Funktion der Lenkradtasten, sowie das formatieren einer SD-Karte so das dieses als Erweiterung für den interenen Speicher genutzt werden kann.

Tried today on my PX5 MX device. Everything works, I only have a problem when starting the device. When I start the device I get a streaky white screen and after I press the restart button the device starts normally.The fault occurs whenever I turn off and turn on my car.
I have installed MTCE_MX_V3.08

Check 2:10 to 2:25. These are steering wheel controlled actions.
Not sure about using SDCard as the internal memory.

can i flash this rom for "GS" MTCE px5 ?

GS is just a manufacturer fo a common platform (MTCD/MTCE based MCU units).
PX5 MTCE ROMS are compatible for all manufacturer MTCD/MTCE PX5 based Android units.
