I don't know about mic
But if you are looking headset for music then I'll suggest philips She3590
Available at reasonable rate and sound is damn awesome...
If you are on stock
I'll suggest you to install viper4android(requires root)
For getting the best out of xl
Or you can install poweramp music player, you'll feel the difference..

Option for playing music mono.

Is there an app or option somewhere to make music play mono? I only use one bud at work and it would be nice to hear all the music. I Googled and only came up with dead threads with no answers.
On iPhone/iPod there was an option in accessibility for that. For the deaf and such. Just wondering if I overlooked it something.
Thanks!

Some headphones/earphones have a switch on the cord that allows you to switch between mono and stereo.

Not what I'm looking for. That requires a purchase of new hardware. I want a software solution.

XLouder or ViPER4Android

Just to check if these excellent audio MOD's work on LG G2. I am on International version D802. I found media volume to be very low as compared to my HTC one. Installing ViPER4Android will do the trick. Other option may be Xperia Media Applications link..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2059203. Kindly guide me the choice.
VIPER4Andriod works excellent on the G2

Thanks but are you using with the inbuilt LG music player or third party music player. Which third party music player goes well with VIPER4Andriod.

Poweramp you gotta disable Direct Volume Control (DVC) and then follow instructions on installing Viper4Android. Once you complete those tasks, you can setup profiles individually for Phone Speaker, Headset, and Bluetooth. There is a separate thread for Viper4Android settings. That's where i copied mine from and they are working great. Try some out.

When it prompts you for a driver, which do you select? Do you have to choose anything in poweramp aswell?

"CortexA8 with NEON" is the driver you will need to choose and i would recommend sitting in a quiet room with your favorite pair of headsets and tweak the equalizer settings to your liking

MUSIC EFFECTS (The best so far)

Hey guys. I'm just sharing this Music FX that I got from Playstore for free. The best so far I've used and is functional in most Android devices and has easy to use presets. Need to plug your headset though to use the application.
Here is the link:

I have Poweramp as well. But I prefer the default Music player due to it's crystal clear base sound which you can't get in Poweramp.
Great to know that you like the app. Enjoy!!!
Great to hear. Enjoy!!!r
Viper4android kills this ten times over and then some. The only issue is getting it to install properly.

IMHO, PowerAmp is the best looking one out there! I've been using it for 2 years +. You can even change the way it looks with updates. Hope this helps.
Cheers!
Try NexMusic by LocoMain, from the PlayStore, absolutely awesome.
Great things come in small packages.
