Function like what? Can u be specific? If u ask bout touchscreen, yes, note 10.1 can touchscreen, tab plus oso can...

Oh, I means like the using SPEN for Note 10.1... If you used Note 10.1, you will know how amazing it is with the SPen, so I wonder, if we can flash tab plus with software as same as Note 10.1.
just find the programs/apk's which does that and install them on your tab..

So you have the apk for using spen... to make note something like that. So i can purchase the Spen and my tab plus can be same as note 10.1... if that is something easy like that, who going to purchase note 10.1... They just install the apk and you know..

the GTab note has different screen hardware that works with the S-Pen
The S-pen will not work with non "Note" samsung tablets. We do not have the hardware.

Well they have to get to 4.1.1 first and that is in the pipeline, but no date set yet. its already out for some of the sister samsung tablets like the 2.7 and 2.10.
My guess is late Jan or Feb for 4.1.1.
Since even the SG-3 has only gotten to 4.1.2, I have no guess when or if the GT-62xx will get 4.2.
Key lime 5 will be announced in May. so what about that?

I bought a datacables from DX which are also for Galaxy Tabs and it works on my SGN10.1 so it should works also with yours one

As far as I know by reading on this forum, gear S2 will not connect to any rooted phone because of Android pay. Is this true? Can you confirm that information, please?
I want to root my Huawei media pad x2 and test some CFW on it, but I'm worry that my gear S2 will not connect to my phone anymore after that!

I can't comment on non-samsung phones, but my note 4 is rooted and the S2 3G connects and works well. Pay is not available yet, so not sure if it'll be a problem once available.
No problems with rooted S4.
S5 rooted connect just fine. had problems with both ASUS watch versions, but this works beautifully. No Samsung pay for S5 so...
no man, i got note 3 european flashed in my rom country and rooted. It's a problem of the gear compatibily, unluckily on my xiaomi mi2 i can't did a connection until I update the gear with the last firmware (mine is Asian)
S2 works fine on rooted stock roms but work needs to be put in if you use cm.
I have an unbranded Dutch rooted Note 3 together with Gear S2 working like a charm! Must say that both the phone and gear are original non-import devices, running original ROM.
On my Galaxy S5 Mini (SM-G800F) on Android 4.4.2 (stock ROM) rooted it works like a charm. Cheers

i had Cm and i had to return to stock to be able to sync with the gear s2.
Do you know any way off pairing with cm ROM ?

Yes, you can connect your watch to your phone - even if it is rooted. The Gear app works just fine on rooted and non-rooted phones.
However, you can't use Samsung Pay, on the phone or the watch, if your phone is rooted.

Rooted S5 won't open Samsung Gear
Hey, gang.
I'm kinda stuck here and searching within XDA (or throughout the web) didn't help.
I just got a S2 Classic, which finds my S5 fine; via., Bluetooth.
However, because my phone is rooted (CM13) it won't open the Samsung Gear app; instead giving me a prompt that my, "operating system on my phone has been modified in an unauthorized way".
Thoughts, anyone?
