[Q] Imported contacts not saved? - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have imported a few contacts to my Moto G in the form of Vcard. They are imported successfully and shown in the contacts once after importing. But they are not saved in my contacts, meaning that when i close my contacts and open it again, the imported contacts are not there!
Anyone else having the same problem of not saving imported Vcard contacts?

Any ideas?
Its really annoying not be able to save imported contacts!

I have just converted from windows mobile, I used sprite migrate to convert my contacts which worked ok.
All my contacts are now on my phone, however I cant get them to sync with my gmail account. When i look for them in the google contacts there are none shown, however when i look under people they are all there.
They are not stored under phone as when i select to export the contacts they are shown as being google contacts.
can anyone help in getting these on my gmail account please?

Android 2.x.x: Change contact type

Hi Guys
A lot of times I receive new contacts (vcards) by whatsapp and mms. When I import them they are automaticly imported as local contacts which are not synced with my gmail online contacts. The only workaround so far is ex- and reimporting them.
Why can't the contact type be changed directly when editing the contact?
thx for your help
have a good day

[Q] Merged contacts backup

Hello,
Is there any way backing up the merged contacts? I've tried HTC Sync, but its syncing only phone contacts with outlook, and not all the information.
OK, got it!
GO contacts - its free and has the ability to backup all the merged contacts into single vcf file, which can be used in the future. I also noticed that gmail offers contact import from vcf files and imported the file which Go contacts made. The export is perfect!

[Q] Help with syncing contacts

My mom just picked up Galaxy Tab 2, and I was over there all afternoon trying to sync her contacts. I exported all of her contacts from Windows Live Mail as a csv file. I imported them into her Gmail account, and they all show up on the Gmail site. I logged into her Gmail account on the Tab, and clicked on sync contacts. When I click on the Contacts icon, all of the contacts I imported, are in there. When she opens the Gmail app, and tries to send an email to someone in the contacts list, she begins typing their name, and the contact doesn't show up, like it does on my Galaxy S3. I tried the stock email app, and there is an address book where you would type the recipient. There are only 4 contacts in there, and they are the ones she manually entered. Shouldn't the imported contacts be showing up in the stock email app? What am I missing here?

[Q] Export Merged/joined Android contacts

I'm facing a problem with exporting all my contacts on my galaxy s4
I'm new at android and i have put all accounts connected to GS4 and i have contacts from gmail, facebook, skype, google+.
i have spent a lot of time merging all the contacts so i can have a clean contact list with only one contact per person.
My problem is that in gmail after finished merging i only have the contacts that i had before on gmail accout. Is there a way of exporting all contacts from my galaxy s4 (from all accounts) so i can then import them to gmail, outlook.com or yahoo.
I have been reading in the forum and the only thing i found is to backup the contacts with groups and merged/joined option, so if you want to change room i just have to load the backup, but i did no find nothing about exporting them to csv or vcf to import to other accounts
Best regards
