[Q]Bootloader "locked"?

on the top of my bootloader it says ***LOCKED***
rest info is :
PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.27.0000
RADIO BLABLALBA...
Is everything ok ?
p.s. I have flashed new firmware and 4.0.3 3.6 sense rom..
You are still S-OFF. I had that also, before returned to stock rom and did everything again and it was gone..
Its linked to your HBOOT version, it does not affect your ability to flash roms, just some of the fast boot options

Don't worry you r still s-off so you can install any Rom change cid etc. The bootloader itself locked so u can't use some of fastboot commands.

Do I need stock recovery to use an RUU?

Current situation:
Stuck with a corrupted/unmountable internal storage on my One X, after flashing a custom kernel and a custom ROM (cyanogenmod 10.1). For now, I'm trying to get back to stock. I'm unlocked, S-On, and I have superCID. Is there any problem with running the AT&T RUU to get back to stock? Do I first need to flash the stock kernel and recovery or will the RUU cover that? Also, does superCID cause any trouble when using the RUU?
Here's my bootloader info:
EVITA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.14.0002
RADIO-0.19as.32.09.11_2
OpenDSP-v29.1.0.45.0622
eMMC-boot
Jun 11 2012, 14:36:28
upon running fastboot getvar version-main, I receive: version-main: 2.20.502.7
Thanks in advance for your help!
Nope should not be a problem just relock your bootloader then run the ruu

[Q] Selling my One S, making it stock?

Hi. I'm selling my phone since I've bought HTC One Black. So... is there a way to erase everything and make it as it was stock?
Guess I need to do this:
1. S-Off to S-On
2. Flash this: villec2-jb-crc-3.4.10-055bd56.zip from http://www.htcdev.com/devcenter/downloads
3. Remove root
?
I just received an OTA update but it can't be installed, so therefore I want to make it stock so that the new user won't experience any problems...

Your are S-OFF?
So you need to follow this instrucition:
http://androidforums.com/one-s-all-things-root/691213-how-get-back-stock-facepalm-s-off.html
Some phones early phones were shipped S-Off. You do not need to S-Off. Just go back to stock and change the bootloader back to locked.

You have a stock bootloader. I take it you mean a stock recovery. Google HTC Ville S4 Stock Recovery and explore.

or get it from me
https://www.dropbox.com/s/btmsslfgbwegu2k/ville_recovery_signed.img
flash stock recovery, relock bootloader and run the ruu.
if the ruu makes any problems while your phone is up, try to boot into fastboot usb and run the ruu again.
dont forget to run the ruu as admin and be sure you have the latest htc sync drivers installed.
good luck

Is it the same as villec2-jb-crc-3.4.10-055bd56.zip ?
Or one of these? http://www.androidfiles.org/ruu/?developer=Ville
I also have TWRP

You have to update your HBOOT in order to flash 3.16.401.8 RUU, I've got problems flashing this RUU too. You need hboot 2.15 for this, if you're s-off you can easy update it following this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39216236&postcount=274 remember to change your CID to SUPER CID: 11111111 or you may have issues flashing hboot.

yeah it's kind a bug you get stuck at 75%, just type in prompt command:
adb reboot bootloader
you should boot into bootloader and see the new hboot version.

you have alredy the new radio installing 3.16.401.8, I wouldn't s-on your phone because it's useless (unless your phone still have warranty)

HTC Sensation - back to completely stock

Hey guys,
i want to sell the HTC of my girlfriend and want to bring it back to 100% stock.
So, there are plenty of guides but most of them with s-off and changing CID etc.
so here are the current infos:
*UNLOCKED*
PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-ON RL
H-BOOT 1.27
Currently running a MIUI rom on it. So basically, do i just need to flash a stock RUU, wipe everything and its fine?
Thanks
// Woops, wrong thread. already reported for moving , sorry!

these RUUs will install the 4.1.1 Sense 4 stock right?
the question that i forgot to ask that will there be a problem if i run an old RUU although i've updated my phone to sense 5 before ,and all info in the bootloader changed?
It depends which RUU you run. You're s-off so you can run any Evita RUU, whether it's a forwards or backwards step. Just make sure you choose the right RUU (the 3.17/3.18 ones are Android 4.1 and Sense 4+) and you'll be fine.
Sent from my Evita
No there will be no problem since you have s-off. Nothing in your bootloader will change. The bootloader will remain unlocked. Your cid will remain supercid and you will still be s-off. You can run older or newer RUUs without consequence.
