The first contact from you was extremely fasy, which I'm thankful for, but approximately how long it can take to tell me how to pay?
The thing that you don't have option to pay via Credit card is already quite annoying, but even more annoying is to wait for the bank transfer payment information. Nothing personal, I'm just used to that shops would be more eager to get the money from the customers.

I'm glad i never got those payment instructions. who knows where my money could be right now!
And also remember, when ordering from them, you will probably have to pay the toll and VAT at your home country, so it really isn't even that cheap.

I thought to do so, but after doing whois pings on the domain, found out that the website is registered to a person with a same surname than the person answering my e-mail. Family biz.. They can go to hell with their stupid shop, just ordered from expansys.

I bought from highstreet "Kamla" in London on Tottenham Court Road... UK version for £499.
A bit more expensive but from my past experience with HTC P3600 which was quite unstable initially, I thought it's better to buy from a shop where I can go back to if anything goes wrong.

I tell you...that is nuts. I had an issue with the first Touch Pro I ordered. Thank goodness I did it on E-Bay. Paypal refunded my money after my dispute, found another seller, and bought two of them with next day air delivery. Though I had one seller try to mess around with me, money was safe, and still had my Touch Pro within a week of the UK's launch.

DON'T PAY BY BANK TRANSFER OR WESTERN UNION.
A merchant who doesn't take cards is generally always a scammer; bank transfers/WU are irreversible, this is precisely why they're required by scammers.
If you want to buy a device, buy it on a card; the price is cheaper than average for a good reason, use your noodle.

[APP] Spotify USA NEED INVITE or UK Member to sign me up!

Hi I currently reside in the USA and spotify (because of the darned record companies) has not made its way over here yet. I heard that if someone invites your or someone based in the UK or other countries where its supported signs you up you can use the service. So being that the community here on XDA is full of surprisingly generous people I thought I would give it a whack and ask to see if anyone could help me I am willing to donate via paypal if someone truly can help! I have an Invite code but I never got around to using Ingress, won't give up the original but If I can invite you guys I will.. Let me sign into the app and see how to invite.. For free.. Flashing a new Rom so I'll get back to you guys by tomorrow on it..

Extend Invites validity?

Hi guys i'm in very bad problems with Oneplus. I'm one of the storm winners and I received the mail that says that my invite will be good to use for 72hours. The problem is that i can't buy it right now, cause i don't have the money and can't find them in just 3 days! Any chance that Oneplus wull extend the validity of my invite, or send it to me later?

I would suggest just ask them per mail. I can't tell you however if they are going to extend it.

Already did, they didn't reply yet. :/

Actually good idea to give this invite to somebody rather than going waste and ask them to give invite later to you... invites u will get after buying will have more expiry...

Probably better to find someone trustworthy with lots of posts for example on this forum (a dev who wants the phone maybe) who you can give the invite to. Just make it a condition that they give you an invite back after oneplus gives them their 3 free invites eventually.

I would be happy to purchase it ND send the invites back to you. Just a thought. I'm a long time xda member. I'll give u my phone number if you want to call me.

They replied and as i could imagine, invites validity isn't expandable. I decided to give the first invite to my girlfriend, then take the second one that will come. Also when i'll receive the second OnePlus i'll give the invite to one developer, in order to improve XDA

I think its very easy to "scam" someone with trading for a invite since you're giving up a tablet. And chances are if they have a extra invite, then it would be expired by the time the tablet arrived.
So neither sides would feel very secure making the trade, thats just my two cents.

Understood, I would be willing to send the tablet first and once received, the other party could send the invite. I may have too much trust but I consider most of the XDA community to be very trustworthy, in my experiences. :cyclops:

^^^ This ^^^ And XDA really is not the place for it either as there is a transaction occuring that includes item(s) of value...so I suggest it go elsewhere...

Me donate the invite? If I had one to donate I would be donating them left and right as I got them to fellow XDA'ers/OPO'ers (w/o devices ofc), although I am actually looking for one myself. In regards to trading the tablet and the insecurities someone may have, I would be happy to pack it up and send it via UPS and provide tracking information and pictures immediately or whatever the generous donator asked as I know the invites only last 3 days(?) and then 24 hours once given out. Just an idea. I was just hoping I would be able to purchase one by now so I did not become a member of the OPO community until very recently which I unfortunately assume sets me back quite a ways. Anyways, thanks for the information and I shall be on my way with my fingers crossed

I've had my OPO for about 3 weeks now and still no invites to give out. It'll be awhile.

There's people on eBay selling invites for as low as $40 that's how I got my OPO, considering what people are selling them for it was a deal. I would consider that route.
