there is a major bug on jellybean with this tablet where the otg will stop working and you have to reboot to fix the problem, can a app like USB OTG Helper get around this problem?
and please don't reply and say your otg works fine, you are not helping me by saying that, i want a solution & help with this problem, not a "works fine for me, not sure what you are talking about herpy derp" its really annoying and doesn't help my cause, just don't reply if you are going to say that.
so anyways, anyone installed this app on jellybean and have no lockups with the otg? please post on this topic, or if you know any other solutions or apps that can help that would be nice, just that i want to update to jellybean to get the feature to turn of notifications for apps, i get spammed to death by it and its really annoying. if nothing comes from this topic then i will just have to stay on ics till 4.3 or 4.2 comes (if that ever happens that is)

What is otg
Could you tell us what the model number of the tablet is, root status, and software version?
I am having the same problem. However, the issue is not universal, i.e.: not all notes suffer from this problem. Sofar, it is not even clear to me whether the problem is hardware or software related. E.g.: my Note has Android 4.1.2 installed and USB only works once after a reboot (that is with the official Samsung adapters). I did try my adapters with a different Note, where they worked perfectly, but that tablet was running 4.1.1.
I have not tried OTG Helper, as I do not want to root my tablet (too risky with possible curious little fingers around), but I have just received a return ticket from Amazon Germany for a repair and/or replacement. If the replacement works, while running 4.1.2, I am much more inclined to call this a hardware failure, in which case no helper app can save you. I shall keep the forum informed...

if it was a hardware problem then my otg adaptor wouldn't work on ics would it? it's a software problem on jellybean, hence the reason i created this topic.
i've found solution to the problem and will leave this for anyone who needs it, basically sixaxis app and a dual shock 3 controller and root, you only need to connect the usb otg once and it registers the mac code from the controller with your tablet, after that you can play wirelessly without cables so the otg problem is completely bypassed, i'm happy because i can finally leave ice cream sandwich behind and enjoy jellybean on my tablet finally, i just wish someone told me this ages ago and i wouldn't have been stuck on ice cream sandwich for so long, yay! time to celebrate lol

I started a bug report for this with android. Please go and star it for importance so that it gets fixed. If you got it working please go and say what you have/did to have usb otg working with 4.1.2.

I can connect with my other android devices and my PC, but my main question is. How do you connect it with your ps3? It is possible ! But my internet connection keep failing but I'm able to pass the IP Address, when im doing the connection test!.
One person got it connected on to his ps4
Another got it working on his ps3...
If anyone knows how please let me know asap!

Hello, on katkiss 6.01, I did a forget on a Bluetooth device on my tf300t to try to resolve a problem. Now, I cannot get Bluetooth to discover my lg-hsb 700 headphones! It sees my other devices and my other devices recognize the LG headphones, so something with the forget command seems to be REALLY making it permanently forget it? Any and all suggestions please! Hey I have and lg TV..I used to screen mirror my device long ago..but just recently it keeps disconnecting..
Im very annoyed now.. I hope there's a solution for this..
me too. seems to be the wifi module thats causing the problem. mine is still under warranty so i called up to lg and have t replaced. now works as good as new. ^^
Hi folks I want to share my mobile data with my car head unit, unfortunately I can't connect. I am on tmobilr and my phone is not rooted. I tried using PdaNet, but my head unit cant find the connection.
My old phone galaxy s6 was connecting just fine.
My brothers galaxy s8 cant be connected either.
I want to share my lte with my device, but at the moment I cant. Anyone can tell me why or how to fix it? Or any other apps? Pdanet cant be the only one who can do that. Thats in advance!
