Devil kernel is still compatible and overclocks..

I'm using Guru Kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-s/development/kernel-guru-t2783561 with Omni CM 11 KK 4.4.4 and can OC to 1.4, it also has memory booster to 409MB. Perfect stability except when using the camera, but I had that problem with the Matr1x kernel in JB Omni too even with a 1.2OC. I just remove the OC if I need to use the camera, which is rarely.

the OmniROM that you can find HERE is a 4.4.4 with selectable OC in the settings menĂ¹

Antutu with Mahdi ROM and AK overclocked Kernel

I wonder why my opo with Mahadi latest ROM and the AK Kernel overclocked to 2.8 gives me a result of 35833 while on all stock I had 38000+
Is there anything wrong or it's normal?

It seems like cm has many performace improvements while mahadi is not (very) good optimized for the OPO.

[Q] Overclocking stock KK v4.4.2 NG1

Dear XDA members,
A while ago I updated my N8010 from stock JB 4.1.2 to stock KK 4.4.2 (LUX, NG1). Running on stock JB v4.1.2. I used Tegrak Overclock v1.9.12 to overclock my N8010 to 1.6GHz. Unfortunately, Tegrak does not support stock KitKat (so far). Does anyone know it there's an alternative to overclock the N8010 running on stock KitKat, ecept from running a custom ROM? If so, please let me know. Thanks.

Stock Kernel doss not support overclocking. You will have to wait for Boeffla Kernel. Alpha-Version is running excellent at my tablet, gaining 21230 at Antutu with conservative overclocking!
Markus.
Antutu? What's it? Ok. You are right. Boeffla works like the hell on KK.
Wait a few days and you can come to the hell

[Q]Should I flash a kernel?

How is it going bro's and my name is Pewdiepie
Ok I am Using Cyanogenmod latest nightly I think on my Tab 2 gt - p3100 .
I want to ask should any kernel
I mean many are saying it will fix the battery drain:laugh:
But is it recommended for advanced users or only Developers
And which kernel you think is the best for battery and compatible with CM11
Please help me:highfive:
Peace and please don't hate
No you didn't have to.
I think, stock cm kernel 3.0.31 pretty much has good battery life.
Upstream kernel changes to 3.0.101 did causes battery drain and tried to resolve by devs.
However 3.0.101 have bigger free ram next 818mb, dhollmen 820mb, however agni kernel has same with stock cm kernel.
All those custom kernel offers some features which stock kernel didn't have.
Slightly different with android-andi kernel which purpose to find kernel battery drain for 3.0.101.

stock rom + root + franco kernel

Is it possible?
I've just rooted N5 and I'm using carbon KK unofficial but I have problem with play store (it gives me error if I try to download everything)...also tried to flash franco on carbon kk unofficial and I lost 3G....
So I would like to come back to stock 4.4.4 but with the root and, I don't know if it is possible, with a kernel that let me overclock, downclock, downvolt etc...Something like franco kernel but I don't know if it is possible.
any suggestion if it possible and the referement 3d?
thanks in advance
ciao
Yes it's possible. Just go in the Android development Forum and find the flashable stock rom

ASOP kernel

Wish we had a good aosp kernel with CPU and GPU overclocking this device is more than capable with overclocking. Currently I'm running latest stock 4.4.2 with boeffla kernel but would love to use a lollipop rom with the same features as boeffla kernel but with andi stopping development for this device think its the end of the road for this device
