Hello, I have been searching for this for over a week and nothing has really helped, so I decided to try and ask it here myself. I have a Motorola Droid RAZR HD (xt926) and have been rooted the entire time I have had the phone. I just recently unlocked the bootloader due to the motopocalypse exploit working again on the new 4.4.2 update. Once unlocked I first tried CWM but didn't care for it so I then used TWRP. On either recovery it was able to flash CM11 perfectly with no hiccups as long as I used DHacker's or CM11 nightlies. The only problem is that on both CM11 and stock once I restored the Mobile Network State says Disconnected. I have done many restores through the phone and other utilites on the PC, but none have gotten it to work. The ONLY thing working is when I go in and get another SIM card. The first one I got only worked for an hour before I flashed CM11, but I figure that it was just a faulty sim. The second one worked perfect and I was hesitant to try a custom rom just in case it broke again, but I did it anyway. Sadly, I am now here with a perfectly functioning phone with calling and texting working perfectly, but no mobile data at all. I am at a loss and do not want to go into Verizon again if I do not have to. Please let me know if there is anything you know of that I can do! I really appreciate all the help I can get.
Thank you in advance!

Hey guys,
So I got a quite annoying problem and I already spent quite some time searching the forums and google without results. Either the solutioins didn't work or the cases I found were unsolved.
Anyway, here is the story.
I have a xperia tipo (st21i) and I rooted it and unlocked the bootloader and flashed several kernels and roms to find the one I'm most comfortable with.
I used: CM 10.0, paranoid android, super jelly bean and performa v4 in case this is of any interest.
I decided to go with cm 10.0 and it worked fine until after one reboot suddenly my SIM card was unrecognized and it said I should restart the phone with a valid SIM card. I flashed different ROM's and went back to stock now but the problem persists. I really ran out of ideas and since I'm not really skilled and rich of knowledge beyond the point of flashing and the rough structure of android I'm a bit helpless here.
Any help is really appreciated and thanks in advance
P.S.: first post
I don't know if it would work but you can try it
Try flashing ics ftf it should work fine..
follow this may work
first flash the original .ftf file then flash cm10 :fingers-crossed:
This happened to me aswell, but it was a while ago, when I wasn't even rooted yet. Went to the shop to ask about it from them and they said SIMs can go outdated or something.. They gave me a new one and it was fixed. But if you decide to ask them about this, make sure you are on stock ROM and locked bootloader, also unrooted. Because if not, your device isn't under warranty, and they can blame it on that

So you are saying it's due to my SIM? It still works perfectly fine in my other phone (a samsung galaxy xcover s5690). The phone was used when I got it and I don't have any receipt or anything so I don't have warranty on my phone anyway right? Should I still visit a shop?
I also tried ICS and it didn't work either. I got the ftf file from that link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-j-e/development/rom-official-st21a-america-firmwares-t2302630
I tried flashing different kernels and roms already even after it refused to take my SIM but nothing helped. It didn't fell down or anything so I don't think anything went loose inside. Could it still be due to hardware failure?
heeey
I got almost the same problem
few weeks ago i found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-j-e/development/sony-xperia-tipo-dual-t2594389
about making custom roms works tipo dual by making it 1 sim not 2 well its ok with me so i used it and all was perfect
custom rom - working gsm - fast - smooth like i dont need anything else
but yesterday well my annoying gf was spamming calls while i was sleeping so i turned airplane mode On
then after i wake up i turned it off and suddenly the device can't recognize the sim any more the same problem this dude got
so i tried everything like tryin to swap the sim place - installing new rom - restore my old stock rom - hard reset - testing the sim - so i tried installing the last update stock ftf which is 11.0.A.6.5 i think it's like this using flash tools anyway it worked and the problem is solved now the phone is workin with no problems u should try it

I tried other phones aswell, it was working on them, but not on my phone. Weird, but yeah, I suggest you go visit them at the shop, they can probably help you out.
I got my One SV about a month ago and got it unlocked and rooted within a week was working fine. One morning it wouldn't make calls. Well I tried to factory reset and something I did apparently. Wiped jb from the phone completely. I finally managed to flash a semi working Rom on here and I've gotten WiFi to work and 3g/4g seems to be working too but for some reason it won't activate for voice calls. Please help. Don't want to have to buy another new phone if I can help it.
I got my one SV k2_cl from boost a little over a month ago and got the bootloader unlocked and rooted, working fine until one morning it wouldn'tmake calls or texts. I tried to factory reset and when I tried to boot got stuck at the HTC logo. Took me 2 weeks to get it to even flash a Rom on here that will somewhat work. I've got WiFi and partial 3g 4g connectivity but no voice at all. When I try to use the phones its activation tool-error, tried manually programming phone- nothing. I'm stumped. Can someone please help me out here. Don't want to have to buy another phone if I can help it. The only guess I've got at the moment is that if I could get a stock original rom to flash I'd be good to go probably and just hold out on doing anything else to it until after the kitkat ota is launched. The few stock roms I've tried either wouldn't download for some reason or just won't flash right. Thanks in advance for any help guys. I've always been more of a hardware geek more so than software but I can usually muddle through following guides of course.
I'm not much into boost, but did you try to flash the available RUU?
help...
As a matter of fact I have tried that and unfortunetly the installer locked up on a reboot of the phone because the phone wants to do the "Android is upgrading # of #" on every boot. That was why I was thinking since adb/fastboot and the HTC One Toolkit all sorta work that if I could get ahold of a working stock rom to flash on there and I have a stock CWM backup still on my laptop from when I first got the phone rooted and everything working. But of course thanks for the tip anyway. I wish that would work. It seems to be the easiest way to install back to stock.
*What ROM should I get for my phone and will it solve my issue for data? and what am I doing wrong to install roms?*
About two weeks ago I finally got around to rooting my Android Razr Maxx so that I might speed it up since it had been laggy. I was able to root my device with no issues and overclock it to solve this problem. I began to expand to other things rooting would allow me to do and attempted to use a mobile data tweak-er to get a speed increase. At first it seemed to work great until at one point about a week later I restarted my phone and couldn't access my mobile data, I could only get WiFi and the 4G bar is always there with signal but remains grayed out. I started looking around for info and eventually asked two friends of mine who both noticed I had no VPNs listed in my phone and said that was why,I don't know how this could of occurred but both told me I could fix it by getting a new custom Rom if I didn't want to do a factory rest. If this is true I would appreciate it if someone could help me find a ROM that works for my phone. I'm currently using the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx. stock version 4.1.2 system version 98.72.165.XT912 I have Safestrap 3.11 installed already and followed numerous videos trying to get a new ROM to work, so far I have tried Wizzed Bean Jelly Wiz and Eclipse but all 3 give me a boot loop when I try to get them working and I always have to revert back to to my stock Rom after my attempts. I'm guessing there was an incompatibility I wasn't aware of in all 3 cases.
Any help with any of this would be most appreciated and I apologize ahead of time as I may be ignorant to some things involving this question
I'm really new to android and i thought i was smart enough to install cyanagen mod but i messed upppppp
what i used to do everything was the droid razr hd utility i did everything correctly except rembering to make backup of my phone
so i searched the web nd found that i could still save my phone by using the droid utility to it back to stock android, i thought this would put my phone to factory but i was wrong instead it turned my phone from the xt925 to the xt926 and changed from fido to verizon. Now, when I boot the phone, I still get the message 'Bootloader is unlocked'. I saw a large number of Verizon specific apps. When booting the phone, instead of the Motorolla 'M' icon/splash, I get a 'Droid' icon, with sound-effects. Also, System Version shows as 9.16.XT926.Verizone.en.US (even though my phone is an XT925 on FIDO)
i know im supposed to flash a jb file and i found it i just dont understand how to delete the gevlar lines and i dont know what lined are can someone tell me
also i have no idea how to flash anything thats why i used the droid utility pleassse some one help me get back to the canada version pleeeasee thanks a lot
i also attached the a picture of the xml file in the jb file can someone show me what to delete and waht to do after
Same issue here, I feel like an idiot for flashing an XT926 rom on. Now when I flash CM11, Liquid Smooth, or any other rom my phone cannot connect to Fido.
If you find a solution please let me know, Thanks.

P.S. I ended up buying a new phone so I've been Googling and trying solutions for months. I found the stock roms here (sbf.droid-developers DOT org/phone.php?device=6) but they don't seem to solve the problem.
Fixed it!!!
Ok, so the root of the problem is that the Droid Utility while claiming to be designed for XT925 and XT926 it only flashes the XT926 factory recovery. That is where you and I both went wrong, we read the instructions and believed it would work on XT925.
Since this is a junk phone now that I bought a new one I decided to screw around. I downloaded the factory firmware from the link in my last post, most of the files are the same as in the XT926 folder in the Droid Utility folder (obviously the files the utility uses for recovery). I renamed, where necessary the files from the XT925 download and moved them all over to the Droid Utility XT926 folder. I left the .xml file in place. I then ran the factory recovery (option 1, then option 1 again). So, the utility thought it was flashing XT926 but in fact it was flashing 925 files. After that I booted up and it asked if I wanted to wipe and apply settings from the sim car, I did and it rebooted twice and now I can make calls and have a stock XT925 that works. It's still rooted but the recovery seems to have been wiped and it goes to the dead android (exclamation mark droid) when you select recovery. That should be easy to fix.
For anyone searching for the wifi issues that I also had, this seems to have fixed that. When the device first booted up the wifi button was still greyed out and you couldn't turn on wifi. Once it wiped the device and applied the settings from the sim card the wifi became active and I could connect. I can also connect to LTE.
As I said, this is a backup device for me now so if you want me to do any messing around or take pictures I'm happy to.
