I live outside USA and using LG G2 with my local carrier. Is there a way to update the phone, as I am not a registered AT&T customer and I don't have an american phone number?

I am selling my g2 and just got asked if it will work with Verizon prepaid. I know Verizon uses a different band than T-Mobile, maybe with a special rom it would work?
No.
Verizon uses their CDMA database to authenticate the phone eligibility to be used on their network.
D801 does NOT have CDMA radio so it will not be able to authenticate on Verizon network nor will Verizon have the phone's serial # on their database.

Recently purchased a heavily discounted Galaxy Note Edge from Optus in Australia. As I live and work in a rural area that Optus has never provided a service in, and the phone is locked, via software, to their system, is there a current, as in Marshmallow 6.0.1, global or international software release that I can flash to this phone that will allow me to be unbranded but able to connect to the rural service provider.
I bought a LG G2 (LG802) from the UK with O2 as service provider. I moved to the US and got a T-Mobile Sim. It works with calls and up to H+ for data.
I can't get and 4G data speeds and no US promotions for the phone i.e T-Mobile Tuesdays. It's been recommended to get the T-Mobile US firmware onto the phone to resolve these issues. I can't get this file anywhere or have the phone automatically do it.

Is there any limitations for an unlocked LG v50 from Sprint on MetroPCS?
i have a LG v50, its sprint locked. I tried to contact the Sprint and they said they need account information, i think the phone was stolen in USA, but i purchased it in Canada. The guy who sold me is not replying to chat, or returning calls and messages.
