Actually, I had the same issue.. I haven't gotten around to seeing if maybe it was an app issue for me, but when I checked BBS, it stated it was Google Services causing the phone to stay awake.

I got a response on the one plus one forums. Fix is merged. I'm guessing it will be in the next release.

Try using Wakelock Blocker. I think theres a module in Xposed for that.
I'm using Mahdi + Franco + Banks gapps and don't have the Google play services wakelock.
Is Google Location Reporting disabled for you?
yes, location reporting is disabled. checked that one

however when rebooting I have to enable it again...
as it seems... it is a bug in CM11s... in CM11 the problem is already solved

if you disable privacy guard for "disable_services" and you after this disable "googloe.update.services" in "disable_services.apk" then your deep sleep comes back!

Hey everyone,
Since I've been using my Nexus 5 a few days ago, I've noticed that there's quite a number of wakelocks on my device.
Through the use of BetterBatteryStats, here's what I found:

Can someone tell me what is 'audiomix' and 'n' processes that's keeping my device on partial wakelock. I'd appreciate your help.

AudioMix is the top one
any ideas anybody?

Think i've figured out how to stop AudioMix...turn off Touch Sounds and Screen Lock sounds
same here... just only audiomix, not "n"
I have a nexus 4 with the same issue, must be a general 4.4 problem because I never saw it in any other version.

AudioMix is for audio output partial wakelock.
you can check bugreport to get more info.
maybe that is responsible for listening "OK Google"?
I have the same. AudioMix is the largest partial wakelock by a lot. I've searched around for information but everything seems to be from the past week or so, without any answers. Looks like it's something to do with KitKat specifically

I'm having the same issue. AudioMix accounts for %95 of my wakelocks. I have disabled Google Now, Location, and Google Music. Can't figure out what's causing it.
Do all of you guys have touch sounds enabled? The sounds for locking and unlocking the phone? These wakelocks dont look severe at all. Unless its keeping your device awake for hours and hours, I wouldn't even worry about it.

I have all of those settings disabled. As of the time of writing this wakelock has kept the phone awake for 32min of 2hr uptime. It's not severe but it is but far the worst offending wakelock.

My phone is kept awake more than 95% off charger cos of AudioMix (MediaServer ?).
I had done a factory reset in TWRP and also tried turning off Touch Sounds and Screen Lock sounds, but it does not seem to help at all.
Nexus 5 on stock ROM and Franco r14.
I was worried about the Audiomix wakelock until I realized(for me at least) that Better Battery Stats is ringing up wakelock time for it even when the screen is on. Can literally constantly refesh the stats and watch the timer go up. If I turn the screen off the timer stops. Not really getting any extra battery drain from it as when the screen is off the phone goes into deep sleep.

I was having this issue yesterday...so I rebooted. Issue stopped. Don't know what caused it though.
As soon as I enable Google Now on my phone (Android 4.4.2 root, stock ROM and kernel) my battery starts to drain incredibly fast (it lasts about two hours idle). This problem doesn't happen if I disable Google Now and Location Services. I also tried with Greenify with no results. Will I ever be able to use Google Now?

I have a bone stock N5, and have Google Now enabled; my battery life is awesome. I poll 3 email accounts every 15 minutes, and have an exchange email account on push. I end the day at 30 - 50% most days. There has to be another issue at play on your phone.

Which google play service version are you using?
It appears that Google Cloud Messaging is messing up, trying to do something and getting an error... What are the apps installed and what did you tweaked in the phone?
Personally, with such a severe battery issue, I'd just wipe clean and reinstall. Problem should be gone.
You'll spend more time trying to troubleshoot it than just wiping.

First i would disable Network Location for positioning and set it to gps only. Second in wifi settings disable scanning always and check avoid bad connections and check optimize wifi. Guess this will help a bit.

Facebook App..well known battery killer.

Also download Gsam, that will tell you what apps are draining your battery
According to gsam it's the kernel?
I've used the facebook app so i assume it's usage is OK

It massively reduces the wakelocks and effects nothing I've found so far

Thanks a lot but i don't get why it's facebook's fault when gsam says it's the kernel.

Android os is built up from services, like sync and location, from all apps.
So yes....things like Facebook especially, will make android os rise.
Go a day with location and sync off....and disable Facebook and similar social apps syncs....just to test. You'll see.
The more you run...the higher android os will be. Its just life. Have to decide what's most important. Those apps and services, or battery life.

I'd definitely say try what I said before with the disable service app. Cus it looks very gms core and location wakelocks

Maybe you're right, i don't know.
But there is one thing i don't understand:
My CPU freq was still on max this morning (Nexus has been on charger overnight of course).
After rebooting it everything was normal again.
Then i manually startet facebook and the facebook calendar sync.
After it has finished the cpu freq was at 300Mhz again.
So i don't get why those app should force the CPU to stay at that high freq.
Ever after closing G+, FB etc. after using it the CPU freq stays low.
Every few days i have this strange behaviour and i don't have a clue why.
I'll give the disable service app a try but i'm not optimistic.
Isn't there an app which shows me which app, service, etc is currently using my cpu?
quick system info shows 0-1% to every app
Do you usually do soft reboots by any chance?
Sent from my Nexus 5

It's a couple of times i unlock my phone and i notice the wifi has disconnected, then it riconnects itself. It also happened at first flash of 5.1, right after the setup wizard.
Any known WiFi drops bugs on 5.1?
I am using Cataclysm + EX.
I am not able to provide any adb logcat because it doesn't seem to happen all the times, sorry.
It's becoming a week known issue.
Seems to be a fault in the Wi-Fi settings where the phone is not keeping the Wi-Fi on when the phone sleeps (even though it's set to do that).
I would go back to an older version (5.0.1) until these retards rectify.
I'm having the same problem.
Anyone got a solution yet?
Bump.
The real issue (at least for me) is that when the phone sleeps and the wifi drops, it enables data network, and I have not unlimited data plan...
How is possible nobody is talking about that wifi behavior ?!
Happened once or twice but that's it.
Someone on G+ that had our same issue said he turned off automatic wifi freq (wifi > advanced) and the drop never happened again.. yet.
That's not a proper fix but better than nothing.

Nope, actually I'm a newbie in terms of rooting.
After I root my device I'm currently observing it. Came across to this thread and share my situation as well, even my battery I'm keeping an eye for it. Had one problem where as before I go to sleep, the only app working while my phone is lock is my alarm clock, I set on smart plan and while sleeping my wifi is still on. Form 1:30am to 7:30am my battery starts in 66% and when I woke up its in 53%..
Having 800mb-900mb running in Android os usage Is alarming? Pls enlighten me. I think I messed up my phone because I rooted it..

Hi, as i am also a newbie, i am not sure i am able to help much. but I think it could be a rogue app that is causing the large battery drain on your phone.
after playing around for awhile, i discovered the issue for my phone lagging, which is caused by the notification app (Floatify). i have stopped the app and my phone is back to being speedy and fast. perhaps you can try to disable or stop some apps to see if it helps.
