Would appreciate some help.
For some reason, on a Bluetooth headset, I'm getting audio ahead of video.
Network is fine, picture is great, just can't get this to sync.
Sync is fine through the speaker.
Does the Bluetooth software get updated with Crombi-kk?
On stock Rom now.
Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks...
Sorry for the sort of double post...

Help please! Does anyone have any idea why I have no Bluetooth audio? I have a 7501 Advantage. I posted about this before & now I'm getting desperate. My LG Style-i worked perfectly for a week, a Jawbone & a Plantronics only worked a few seconds. They all connect & stay connected but there's no audio. They all work fine on other phones, regular & smart phones. It's not a headset problem or a connection problem, just no sound. I can dial out with the Style-i & answer calls with all three headsets but there's no audio. A hard reset didn't fix it nor did various Bluetooth settings. I'm hoping it's something simple. The phone works perfect in every other way. Any ideas?? Thanks

Hope it works for you.
Thanks, Thanks. I installed it & nothing seemed to happen. However after a bit of fiddling I had my audio back. Then, just to experiment, I uninstalled it but I still have the audio. Coincidence?? Who knows? Time will tell.
I's assume its just a reg hack, so even after you uninstall it, the entries stay in affect. I bet if you hard reset, you wont have the audio in your bt.
I had that thought & I hope that's the case. So far it's worked all day. Thanks...
Hi if someone can help me it would be much appreciated. I just bought a Touch Pro and everything is working fine....except for one really annoying issue.
Whenever I connect my bluetooth to a headset, it shows connected but no sound is coming out. The sound is muted. when connected to my Audi, I see that the phone has bars (shows connected and I can dial the phone), but when I make a call no sound. Similarly on my SE HBH-DS970 headset. The A2DP works perfectly, but when I make a call nothing.....I've searched google and through XDA and no solution.
Can someone suggest a solution? I've soft/hard reset the device already. If I should change Radio ROM which one would someone suggest that's stable? Thanks
If no one else has this problem, can anyone at least suggest to me if this sounds like a Hardware or software issue? If hardware I will return it, but if software I will try to find a solution. Like I said the phone connects to BT, but I just can't get handsfree to work. File transfers and A2DP work. Thanks
Just flashed to UK ROM and still no help....I've read some people having the same problems over at the Diamond thread...I'm the only one answering my own thread here hahaha....if anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
Hi,
I occasionally had such an issue with my Parrot CK3100, but I did not get the time yet to investigate further. After the call was connected I did not hear anything, and I am not sure whether the other party could hear me.
On another day, the handsfree was working perfectly OK.
Cheers
Michael
Thanks for replying Michael....I'm at a loss and I tried all the suggestions posted. I hope it's a software issue...I'm going to buy a bluetooth headset tomorrow and see if that works. It's not the end of the world, but annoying since all my ppc, s60, BB, and UIQ phones prior to the TP have not had any such issues.
Do you think it's a software issue?
have you tried playing music?
Yes.....A2DP works perfectly....no problems whatsoever with file transfers either....I'm guessing either it's a software problem or the phone has a new bluetooth software that's not agreeing with my older SE headset, but the car is another issue. The Car is 2007 and I'm sure the Bluetooth software is not that old. I've tried Euro WWE and Asian WWE ROM and no go.....I'm going to try the Cingular ROM and see what happens.
Just another quick update....I tried 2 other different bluetooth headsets and still the same problem... for some reason the sound for handsfree will not come through...anyone know of registry hack possibly that will allow sound to come through?
May not be entirely related to your problem...
Mine is worst...whenever I have paired my Jabra or iTech BT headset, when the phone rings, 8/10 times the phone will auto pickup (and no I did not setup the phone to auto pickup) and the it will NOT connect to the bluetooth. Instead it will be just like an auto pickup and the sound will come thru the phone headset. This is driving me nuts!!!!
the other day i bought bluetooth headphones from best buy. music is ok, but whenever i try to use it for voice or video calls,it doesn't work. for video it goes directly to speaker, and voice is regular. the same thing was happening with my first mt4g, the inferior screen one. could this be a bug, or a hardweare issue? i think it is a bug, cuz otherwise it wouldn't work at all, right?
can anyone out there help me with this dillema? it is really anoyng.
thank you in advance.
What rom are you on? I have only had voice bluetooth issues only on custom roms like IceGlacier, which is currently working ok.
The 2.3.4 update enabled video chat in the Google Talk application, but I cant seem to figure out how to use it with Bluetooth. I have checked everywhere and I honestly just cant figure it out. Has anyone been able to get this to work?? If so, how the heck did you do it? If it helps I am using an Icon Jawbone bluetooth headset.
Anyone? I can't be the only person experiencing this problem.
Bump again! I still havent been able to resolve this, so any help is appreciated.
I cannot, neither.
I think it's a issue from the Google Talk.
Its been a while since I updated this thread and I wanted to know if anyone had this working yet. There must be a workaround that sends all audio out via Bluetooth....
Bump! I am still hopefully this will get resolved. Please comment if you know how to do this.
I assume that other audio such as music from apps like Pandora come through your bluetooth. If you can listen to music and games via Bluetooth one would think that it would work on video chat also. I could have swore I did this but it may have been another video chat app like tango or qik.
I'll try later to see if it was in fact GTalk or another app.
Have you searched the Market for bluetooth apps?
https://market.android.com/details?...t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5iZWRvaWcuQlRtb25vIl0. this app will direct sound to bt headset but nor microphone. GTALK should still be usable, as long as the phone is in front of you and not tucked away in the pocket.

Yeah, its crazy actually. All other programs send bluetooth audio through the headset by default as soon as I connect it. It would appear as if Google Talk someone disabled this functionality.

Hmm, that is a good start but really it would need to be two way for it to be practical.
same problem,
but: I dont need video
I tried 3rd party apps with BT support
-FRING
-TALKATONE
Fring: has poor quality, but every call connected succesfully,
Talkatone: call is perfect, but speaker and microphone working both only in 1 from 50x.
Gtalk 2 routing nothing to BT for me
If anyone found or will find any solution for gtalk call via bluetooth headset stable.. please write it.. THX a lot
agreed, this is very frustrating.
After upgrading my HTC One S (S3) Android to 4.1.1 I am experiencing a problem with music players (either Poweramp/google play or default music player) goes mono after phone connection.
To reproduce:
1. Start music playing and enjoy stereo separation.
2. Call somebody or let somebody call.
3. Answer the call and hang-up.
4. Play music again and notice that there is no more stereo separation.
Actually, it is not a mono but left channel playing in both channels.
From now, only rebooting helps.
I was checking this issue with Beats Audio either turned off or on. Also checked it after two hard resets and on different headsets.

I can confirm this issue. I've also tryed all the stuff mentioned before too. nothing helped. there is no update for the one s anymore. any ideas are welcome.
p.s.: did you contact htc about this issue? I'll do that and report when I get an answer, hopefully in a near future.
