Can i manually update my D801 touch firmware? - T-Mobile LG G2

The following is my Touch Firmware Version:
ic_fw_identifier = PLG208 - 1
ic_fw_version = E067
img_fw_product_id = PLG208
img_fw_version = E067
ic_chip_rev = 2
bootloader_fw_ver = 0
lcd_panel_type(boot) = 0
lcd_panel type(current) = 0
Those of you with a black, tmobile G2, can you tell me if you're on the same touch firmware (via the hidden menu). -> 3845#*801#
My touchscreen is completely non functional after the latest knock-code update from Tmobile. I suspect that its my touch firmware (perhaps being old, and not upgrading?). I have rooted, reflashed multiple versions images, and returned it to completely stock via the flash tool using a few KDZ files. Nothing is working.
Would like to compare what other's touch firmware version is, and if possible, do a manual upgrade of my touch firmware.

Help Please! Problems upgrading to mobile 6

Hi,
I have a G4 Wizard from T-mobile that I am trying to upgrade to windows mobile 6, but am having difficulty. I can get the rom loaded, but when the phone boots, it freezes on the splash screen where it lists the ipl/spl versions. Never gets beyond that point.
Here are the stats from the screen when it freezes:
IPL: 2.26.0001
SPL: 2.26.0001
GSM: 02.25.11
OS: 10.1.0.811
I am using the shelltool method, and have tried several various roms that have worked for other people. (SeeNoEvil2.0, XDA Mobile 6, etc)
I can re-load both the default rom and Wizard Love without any difficulty.
Any suggestions?
Did you visit the G4 board and check out all of the information there? Did you follow Faria's tutorial on how to upgrade a G4? Did you read and follow the How to flash a Wizard sticky in this board?
We have to know exactly what steps you did and if you accomplished all of the required steps before we can help.
Yes, I've checked out the G4 board and all the how to flash a wizard guides. I did follow Faria's guide, and got to the point of doing the hard reset after loading the rom with shelltool. After doing the hard reset, it never goes past the screen I mentioned. (This was using the provided nk.nbf files provided in the guide)
Try out these instructions and post back your results.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=293480
That is what I have tried, that's what Faria's guide uses.
See above for results.
Anyone have any ideas?
Did you tried to flash back to stock ROM?
Piece of advice, unlock the phone using imei check. Only 100% succesful way to run custom roms on a G4 locked wizard except the Wizard Love. Spend the money, well worth it.

Its a little hard to understand what you're asking but if I'm understanding correctly then you're saying you flashed the 2x-v10b-13...... firmware to your phone. Am I correct? If so then you've definitely screwed up your G2X because that firmware appears to be for the O2X(P990) and not the G2X (P999) which would mean you have altered your partitions and flashed a baseband that's incompatible with your phone. Even if you recreate your partitions correctly, I'm not aware of any straightforward way of replacing the baseband with the proper one. I haven't seen any flashable basebands for the G2X.
Someone else wanna chime in here?
Does your phone even boot?
Yes, you understood correctly!
Phone is loaded but not running a network and not see the battery!
I even made a CWM and put CM7
But exactly the same result no network and not see the battery
Did you wipe correctly? Boot into ClockworkMod, and select Mounts and Storage.
Here's what I do.
-Format System
-Format Cache
-Format Data
Then wipe Dalvik Cache...
After that, flash any ROM you'd like... Boot into the ROM, and perform a Factory Reset.
And another question why he does not want sewn through SmartFlash!
Throws:
00:00.0 Sec ownload Start...
00:02.0 Sec :RomBinary Download start
00:02.1 Sec SI RAM writing start
00:02.1 Sec :Trying to communicate with IFX modem
00:22.1 Sec :Timeout error is occured

I install [ROM] Stock NANDROID Restore Froyo 2.22 Rooted LG-P999-V10f 4-23-2011
Phone does not boot (boot animation and restart)
I think I have a way you can fix it. Check out the thread about fixing a soft-bricked phone. Use the KDZ program to flash the new GB rom for the G2X. When the KDZ program starts DO NOT click detect device. Instead just click to immediately start the update. This should flash your phone with the current firmware and the new baseband. Make sure you have the latest LG T-Mobile USB drivers installed on your computer.

Thank you!
I will try restoring!

Sorry I missed the replies here. So the phone was booting up but with no network or battery detected. And looks like you tried flashing cm7 and performing a nandroid restore of the stock 2.2.2 firmware and now won't boot but gets stuck in a boot loop. Is that all correct?
I'm almost certain that your original issue is that you flashed a rom designed for the Optimus O2X (P990) and not the G2X (P999). If that's the case then a simple nandroid restore or flashing any rom won't work to fix your phone as far as I know. You might have some luck with the kdz flasher but I don't know.
If you CAN boot into your phone then go to Settings > About phone and tell us what it says there in regards to Model number and Baseband.
The KDZ method is a full flash like an OTA. If it works, and I think it will, the correct baseband will be flashed.

OneClickRecoveryFlasher gives such picture!
Then you killed it by flashing wrong firmware. No other way to flash the correct baseband.

I solved my problem myself!
I made a firmware for NVFlasher and sent it directly to your phone!
ROM G2X to lay out and who may later come in handy!

I and many others would like to know how you set up firmware for NVFlasher for the 999 and the commands to use it.
My phone was bricked by LGupdater, and could not update/restore it with KDZ -(repeatedly indicated fatal error). Out of desperation, I used a script tool from modeco.com that flashed 990 firmware. I then had a 990 device - lol.
I then tried Smartflash to restore the stock 999 firmware (CP.bin and AP.bin), but it would not do the CP.bin file It did flash the AP.bin file, which is the ROM, but did not restore the partitions and baseband with the CP.bin file. So I put stock recovery back on it and got a replacement. It looked like stock in settings, but baseband was "unknown".
I spent days on this and looked and inquired everywhere - but there was NOTHING in XDA nor modeco.com about how to restore a 999.
So please respond and detail your procedure.
Lay out in the evening a description and a link to the firmware!

[HELP] Soft brick my S6. Stock firmware, flashing via Odin

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me here.
I wanted to switch from CarphoneWarehouse branded firmware (XEU) to EE branded (EVR) to get access to WiFi Calling.
I do not want to root my phone, just don't feel comfortable with it due to Knox.
So I was on stock 5.0.1 and I flashed via Odin, 5.0.1 EE firmware.
Odin failed on hidden.img, phone now stuck in bootloop but will boot into download mode
So I tried 5.1.1 BTU firmware, same problem, Odin failed on hidden.img, bootloop, recovery works
I searched XDA and found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/help/solved-stuck-download-mode-failed-odin-t3104736
I followed those instructions but the my-recovery-img.tar isn't available. So I made my own by extracting recovery.img from the 5.1.1 BTU firmware. But now Odin won't actually flash anything when the phone is in download mode!
Any ideas? This is what I see in download mode:
ODIN MODE

That's a French ROM, will that matter? I'd still like to eventually get to EE branded firmware for the WiFi calling feature, but right now just want to get my phone back!
I'm going to try Smart Switch from a different PC
It does not matter as long as its G920F it will work. Just wait for the official 5.1.1 OTA update.
So I think I know why I can't use Smart Switch, because I've upgraded partially to 5.1.1 (just failed at hidden.img). You can't downgrade back to 5.0.2 from 5.1.1, but Smart Switch has 5.0.2 as the latest software for my carrier unbranded phone.
Any ideas? Can I trick Smart Switch to use a different firmware? Can I do it using Kies? Odin just doesn't want to do it, and I'm not the only person with this problem, I just can't get out of the bootloop

Multiple issues after flashing to stock [G930L]

Before everything was fine. But after the phone got corrupted due to my brother installing unknown apps on my phone, I ended up flashing the stock G930L firmware ~ LGU+.
Now Network modes are gone and dialling a 11 digit numbers doesn't correct itself. For example, I should dial 0912 345 6789 but instead will show as 091-234-56789 when I call.
Somehow there is something should be done in order things go back as it is before I flashed it. It has something to do with the firmware. I dunno what it is after I bought it 2nd hand.
I flashed lgu firmware can I flash ktc firmware?

Not a your common MEI 0 problem

Hi I am having a problem with a Motorola could someone help ?
Well I have a Motorola Edge s30 (global name ) Motorola g200 (Brazil name) and I work in Motorola I am with a test one (with a proto hardware) (normally they give all the experimental mobiles to employees because after the launch of the product they are scraped or given to employees) it have a 2 IMEs (of course it's a dual sim )
The problem is :it is loaded with a stock ROM (with is for a normal mass production mobile), the test engineers do not have a appropriate stock ROM for this version ) and the stock one I am using now is without signal . because my mobile is not 100% identical to the mass production one I have the IMEI 0 IMEI sv 0 problem .
Can I solved this in a simple way ? If it need to flash how I get a ROM that it will make the signal work in this phone ?
