You aren't screwed, you just made the mistake of trying to downgrade 4.4.4.
I have a temporal fix that will let you use a custom ROM until there's a 4.4.4 image

Ok before i start, i would like to tell you that i had previous experiences with roms and whatnot on my Atrix 4g. Ok here's my problem: I recently unlocked my bootloader and flashed cwm recovery on my XT1032 Moto G. I saw that cyanogenmod 11 came out for it. I made a backup and flashed it , Factory/data reset and cleared cache. My phone is now in a boot loop. I am about to restore it now, but you see i hate stock roms. Any help?

Yes i have considered that. I have flashed it but it was really hard to use, probably bugs. In the end, after frustratingly touching my phone, still goes into a bootloop D:

It seems you will have to conform with stock by now. But use stock rooted, and Xposed, and you should have a lot of customization that way.
Also, are you using JB or KK bootloader?
ARGH

Here's a nice guide

I recommend you the retail US 4.4.2 firmware.
Were you on 4.4.2 or 4.3 before you flashed CM?

what this guy said, you should make sure you go from 4.4.2 to cyanogenmod 11 otherwise you will get no joy. put your phone in recovery, flash 4.4.2, you will find a build in the threads, and then install cyanogen , should work like a charm
Hi, I need some help
I usually wore the device, until it shut down, when I tried to turn on again, he was stuck on motorola logo screen
I already tried to enter in the bootloader and do a hard reset, but still not passing from the motorola screen.
I already looked in the topic of restore the firmware too, however when I tried it showed failure, I tried several firmwares, all of them gave the same problem.
obs: sorry for my english.
Ate you using xposed module gravity box, I had same issue when using that. Had to use zip file from cwm to remove xposed.

Hi. I've two moto g xt1032 unlocked and rooted. When I try to install cm11 or a cm11 based ROM the phones doesn't pass the boot animation. I've tried all the things writes on the cm11 tread , so wipes, all the recovery, flash another stock ROM but I can not solve the problem. I can not even do a logcat because the phone is not "authorized"

Have you also wiped the sdcard? With TWRP for example you can select 'Format Data' which wipes both /data and /data/media. Make sure you backup everything to a computer first.

Chances are you will need to downgrade to 4.3 in order to get a custom rom flashed.
Im not sure why, but a lot of moto g users had the same exact issue.
I was lucky and was able to flash custom roms on my 4.4.2.
I dont know why it only affects some users, but it sounds like thats your issue.
Try it and see!

Find a ROM here for your device. http://www.filefactory.com/folder/c6cdedc45a775d27/
Then follow this guide to restore stock. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219
If you want to keep internal SD contents, skip erase userdata step. You can then reflash a recovery and flash whatever custom ROM.
