CM10.2 w/ classical (Samsung) soft controls? - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Tired of waiting I installed CM10.2 on the N8010. I must say I like it very much, and it does solve several of the issues that are in Samsung's 4.1.2 Android.
But a feature that I really liked in the old system is the combined status/navigation bar at the bottom. Android > 4.3 has a status bar at the top and soft controls at the bottom which I consider less convenient (and consumes more pixels). Also, my muscle memory is very strong at wanting a back button in the bottom left position, not somewhere halfway the bottom bar).
Is there a way to get this (or sufficiently similar) behaviour in CM10.2? I already installed the Nova Launcher for several other desktop tweaks.

want something like dci battery and battclock with bar gauges above and below bottom

Is it possible to put bar gauges above and below the bottom bar (soft key bar) like dci battery and qwerty memory does on the top bar(task bar)?
I'm currently using dci battery and qwerty memory and also battclock. I like lots of info on my home screen, but don't want any redundancy and don't want to cover up some task bar items I like.
I just got the new version of battclock and it's got some nice capabilities, but I don't want to use them all on the task bar. I do want to replace the little battery gauge, but nothing else on my task bar. I use wktask and like how it shows open apps on the left side of my task bar (wish it had more capabilities like mmtask or arkswitch or whatever they are, but that's another issue)
I do like some of the other info battclock offers, but wish I had another way of displaying it. What I would like to do is display two more bars like dci battery and qwerty memory does except at the bottom of my screen above and below the bottom bar (softkey bar).
Does anyone know of anything like that or if it can even be done? If it can be done and doesn't exist does anyone feel like developing it?
Moved as not software release.

[Q] Hide activity bar?

As per the title, is it possible to hide the activity/notification bar from the bottom of the screen, particularly when viewing movies or playing games?
I would assume so, but it might have to be done by the app that you're using. It does so in the Youtube app, it makes the buttons disappear and replaces them with tiny dark dots so I would assume that as a dev, someone could do the same. But I dont recall there being an option to do it.
No?
I don't think so, however devs can move it, like in the game Spirit, they place it on the left so it's as though you're getting more screen space. However, I don't think you can fully remove it, as it's the main way of navigating the device. Hope this helps!
The dots are called lights out mode
you can use gesture control to hide the bottom bar

[Q] Change Navigation Bar Content on Stock ROM?

Hi,
I'm trying to get a Nexus 7 like UI in my Galaxy Tab 7.7. I have ICS 4.0.4 running on it. I installed Nova Launcher, set it as default, replaced Samsung Keyboard, changed DPI to 213, replaced some other misbehaving Samsung Apps. So far so good. But I would like to further simplify the UI, like in Nexus:
1) Introduce a new bar on the top of screen like Nexus7, move the icons on the right side of bottom navigation bar to top of screen. I need a new bar for this, any idea how can I get it? the notifications shall also start to pop down from top of the screen.
2) Disable mini-apps bar in the middle of bottom navbar. Anyway many of them don't function anymore in 213 DPI and I don't need it anymore.
3) Distribute the remaining navbar icons evenly onto the bottom navbar. Now they are very close to each other on the crowded left side of the bar.
Is this mission impossible? I was eventually using latest CM10 version which was good, but one morning I woke up with a depleted battery and a boot loop. I will wait some more time in the stock ROM (if possible) to try again either CM10 or PA.

[SOLVED][Q] Restore old style navigation/status bar?

Does anyone know how to restore the old style JB status and notification bar? i.e. everything in the bottom right corner of the screen
The new style (clock/battery top right, notifications top left) is awkward to use because the trigger area for the bars is so narrow and the Poetic case I have my TF300T in obstructs access, but I can't see a way to go back.
Alternatively are there any ROMs that allow you to adjust the size of the trigger area for the bars? I'm currently running BAKED bb-9 on 4.2
Thanks
Edit: found an option to do this in BAKED after all...

Pie control with notification pulldown?

Can anyone recommend a pie interface/app that works with the notification pulldown?
I tried the first app in playstore that came up (think it was called "Pie Control"). Everything seems to work except the notification pulldown. That's arguably the top advantage of using a pie interface though, since it allows you to pull the notification window down using your thumb and one hand, opposed to reaching all the way to the top of the phone.
PS: I realize there is a one-handed mode for this phone (which for me seems a tad bit TOO small to accurately hit keyboard letters sometimes), but being able to do this with the PIE interface is a good balance without sacrificing the ability to use the entire phone screen.
Nova launcher allows that with a gesture. I use lmt launcher, you can assign a key to perform a nova action to pull down the shade.
