Microsd 64g ? - Galaxy S 4 Accessories

Hi guys.
Recently I've changed my old gt-i9000 with the s4 i9506.
I look for a good 64gb microsd card.
What is your suggestions?

If you're looking to go all out, the Samsung Pro 64GB Micro SDXC has excellent numbers, like 90/50MBps read/write and it's $69.99.
If you're looking for a very good micro SDXC card for less that $70, the Samsung EVO 64GB Micro SDXC is more than capable for $47.99

Good eye. I kinda like scandisk. And if your going to spend the cash.. might as well go for a class 10 ..

I like sandisk too but i can't find them free shippings.
The samsung seems to be also a good choice and fast.
Any others?

Here's a scandisk 64GB class 10 for less than $40 with free shipping.. link to sdcards

Ive used pny and sandisk. Both are fine. Just ordered a sandisk 128gb as well. 64 gb's can be had for $30 now days.

!
Bought the Samsung pro 64gb micro sd For almost 70$ from ebay.
Card tested and it is original.
I've noticed a small change on speed as it seems to work faster than before.
Anyone noticed any speed differences with a fast microsd card?

I use 64GB and Laggy -_-

Very helpfull, thank you for your information.

I have a transcend 32gb class 10 uhs1 card. Definitely faster than the old 16gb SanDisk card and pretty cheap. Their 64gb is under $40 on amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AF...200_QL40&qid=1407604730&sr=8-1#ref=mp_s_a_1_1

Lexar are maybe the best memory avaiable.
I bought a Mustang 16gb class10
done some test:
18-20mb/s read
15-17mb/s write
so fast
If you can recommend the Mustang Cards i think i'll try one as well as they are really cheap compared to other cards (~35€ for 32GB instead of 45€-60€). Will get the 32GB though.
yes i have one olso on my digital camera and 0 problems

I have an ADATA 32GB SDHC class 4 but when connected via USB cable in mass storage mode the write speed stays below 300KB/s.
If I place the card in a USB adapter the writing speed is about 4,6MB/sec.
What is the problem? Thanks!

Am using A-Data 8GB class 4, it works fine (both stills and video is being smoothly recorded) so i dont see any reason why to pay more for better (faster) class

Lexar or Samsung 32gb MicroSD Card Recommend?

Hi guys i am looking to buy a 32gb Class 10, MicroSD card for my Desire, i am planning to partition it so i can have more internal space. After searching the market for a competitive price, i have came down to 2 options:
Lexar 32GB Micro SDHC Class 10 Extreme Speed
Samsung MB-MSBGAEU 32GB Class 10 Micro SD Card
I would appreciate if users here can recommend me which one i should go for and why (if owned either and used) ?
Thanks alot
As far as I know, many of the higher class cards have been produced by biasing performance to continuous read/write speeds, for use in camcorders/cameras etc so they can record ultra HD or burst capture etc. HOWEVER, for use in a phone, which needs greater random read/write access they can suffer compared to a regular class 4 which is a better balanced card. There is a lot of this going on in the HTC Mozart pages here on XDA, where I've been spending time (had a Mozart, ROM'd it and gave it to my girlfriend, she loves it).
Many people have tried different 32gb/16gb cards, different classes from 2-10 and the results have been surprising. WP7 seems to be unusually fussy about the cards that will actually work with it, and the only card guaranteed to work everytime is SANDISK which says a lot about the quality, and people have been finding that performance with a Class 4 SanDisk card is better than performance with a supposed Class 10 card by another manufacturer such as Integral, Transcend etc or even Samsung and Kingston.
In the end I bought a 32gb SanDisk Class 4 off Amazon, for a lot more than they are on eBay at around £28, apparently there are loads of near-fakes on eBay (only way I could guarantee it was genuine- the chinese are using genuine 4gb SanDisk cards and then re-branding and re-coding them as 32gb, the card thinks it's a 32gb, reports that it's a 32gb card but obviously runs out of room and has errors as soon as you try to put stuff on it).
Hope this helps- generally you get what you pay for and if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.
I bought yesterday a samsung class 6, 16 GB micro-sd card.
H2testw:
Writing speed: 10.00 MByte/s
Reading speed: 15.5 MByte/s
i know this post is about 20 days old, but maybe you haven't choosen a sd card yet
i first got a 16gb lexar class 6 card -> everything was fine
now i got a 32 gb samsung class 10 card
and i must say there is no remarkable speed/transfer difference
so buy a card which is class 6 or higher and everything should be fine
I have the Lexar class 10 32Gb card in my Desire, no problems. I bought it from Amazon during their Black Friday sale.
I have the Samsung 32gb class 10. Working flawlessly with 1gb ext4.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Lol I have the Samsung 32gb class 10. Working flawlessly with 2gb ext4.
Lexar 32 gb class 10
I got a lexar 32 gb class 10 at Christmas. So far no troubles, but I've never done any speed tests on it.
So far happy.
I got a 'Lexar 32GB Micro SDHC Class 10 High Speed' for £27 from Play.com and it works a treat!!!
Samsung MB-MSBGAEU 32GB Class 10 Micro SD Card
crystaldiskmark 3.0.1

4k read: 3.736MB/s 4k write: 0.693MB/s
4k (QD32) read: 3.833MB/s 4k write: 0.683MB/s
I think I have fallen foul of this, I bought two 32gb cards from'micro sd cards uk' @ about 15 quid each and I cant write to them properly they are class 10 so they should be ok but I have nothing but probs with them on two laptops with different cards readers,
Ill contact the vendors tomorrow Ill keep you posted.
Sounds very cheap for a class 10 32gb card, I bought my samsung one around christmas for £35 and that was the cheapest price at the time!
I'm sorry to say this but if something sounds to good to be true then it probably is...
Definately Lexar that's what use and its works great and very fast too
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA Premium HD app
I have been using Lexar 32gb class 10 for a year and its very good. I bought it for 29$ on a sale and that's what makes it amazing actually.
Here are the avarege speeds after 3 runs:
Read 19.4
Write 10.8
I strongly suggest to anyone.
not just ebay
In the end I bought a 32gb SanDisk Class 4 off Amazon, for a lot more than they are on eBay at around £28, apparently there are loads of near-fakes on eBay (only way I could guarantee it was genuine- the chinese are using genuine 4gb SanDisk cards and then re-branding and re-coding them as 32gb, the card thinks it's a 32gb, reports that it's a 32gb card but obviously runs out of room and has errors as soon as you try to put stuff on it).

I thought that the maximum allowed for Desire was 16 gb. Mine is 16 gb (Samsung), with good data transfer performance. By the way, in your situation I would go for Samsung.

-Samsung microSD SDHC 32gb Class10
This was the Ebay seller

memory cards for Nokia 820

We got the following 32GB MicroSDHC Class 10/UHS-1 memory card on sale for $18.99 and it works great in the 820:
http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-MicroSDHC-Memory-Adapter-SDSDQU-032G-AFFP-A/dp/B009QZH7BU
Similar Class 4 card at the AT&T store costs $59:
http://www.att.com/shop/wireless/accessories/data-memory/sku6090235.html
Or $22 on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Mobile-microSDHC-Memory-SDSDQ-032G-AFFP/dp/B007KFXIDE/ref=pd_cp_e_2
I'm not sure if the class-10/UHS-1 actually makes any difference; we didn't try HD video capture yet.
Install is simple: switch the phone off, pop open the back, remove the battery, install the card, put everything back together, and turn on the phone. After a second or two, the phone asks if you want photos/videos/music downloads to automatically go to the card or on the main memory. Nice touch. Now my wife's 820 has more storage than the 920 and still cost less. We couldn't justify the additional cost of the 64GB cards. 32GB seems to be the sweet spot right now.
I am new on Lumnia 820, got it on friday last week, but my first impression is very good.
Regarding the Memory card, i can confirm that the SanDisk Ultra Class 10 microSDHC Ultra 32GB is working perfect.
Pluged in as written, installed it and ready to go, pretty fast I think without any problems yet.

The best Micro SD Card for the Galaxy S5

I was wondering if what BRAND, TYPE, AND CLASS will be useful for the Galaxy S5? I heard that the 64GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-1 chip is good but doesnt have the full 70mbps reading speed and 20mbps writing speed support on a galaxy s4. It would really help me decide if you suggest what kind of sd card will be fit for the GS5. Thanks!

I have a samsung 64GB. As for the class, it's always class 10, any lower and your giving away performance. As for the type, not sure what that is, for me the type is MicroSD, and all class 10 64gb microsds are UHS-1. I have never had any performance issues with my card but i know sandisk released a gold edition version of their 64gb card that gives an extra 10mb boost, but not sure if its worth it for double the price of any other 64gb, if not, 70mb/s is more than enough

What's the story behind those 3 SD Cards from Sandisk? Because that's what I'm planning to buy.
I got my card today. Samsung micro SDXC UHS-I Pro Class 10 64GB. Read up to 70MB/s Write up to 20 MB/s.
The S5 is compatible with 128GB cards, but way expensive.
I've used a SanDisk 64GB card for over a year with no issues. Before that a 32GB, which was the same. SanDisk have the largest market share in the UK by some margin (which aggrieves Samsung). I never did see intrinsically higher return rates on SanDisk cards or Samsung cards. Both brands are good, both make there own flash memory (Samsung would tell you they make ALOT of flash memory).
You however get lots of fake SanDisk cards (better brand equity), I've even seen reputable retailers get duped, which tends to happen less with Samsung.
Buy from a reputable retailer and which ever brand you choose you will be fine. I personally prefer SanDisk but I don't have a rational reason for it. 128GB will drop in price over the next 6 months (obvious really). So I'd save your money. Faster cards are better and for the small difference in cost it's worth it. Although be aware that you are not paying for better quality "memory" as per se but a faster controller.

Agreed. The new release by Samsung from the EVO/PRO line would probably be best.

What's the best type of SD card for Note4?

My Thoughts
I was contemplating the 128 but i don't think i'll ever use it, and im a music and movie junkie, but i don't keep movies (or tv shows) on my phone after i watched them, so i went with a 64gig sandisk mobile ultra. I also don't believe the phones can take full use of the higher transfer rates of some cards (48mb/s+ cards) so i went with this guy here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JAKH0F4
its Amazon Prime Eligible and comes with the adapter and usb reader.
I'm sure others will post their thoughts as well

These phones won't take advantage of the higher speeds of the Extremes and Pros unless you're removing the card from your phone and plugging it into a USB 3.0 card reader each time. So The 48MB/s Ultras and Evos are good enough.

yeah, like he said, if you are only using the card in your phone, get this guy for less than 40 bucks!
Just picked up one of these
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Elect...412429044&sr=1-6&keywords=64+gb+micro+sd+card
Got good reviews and has the bandwidth for 4K. The Note 4 will be my first 4K device so I wanted to make sure I had a good card to go with it. Dont need 128 GB (yet) personally as I stream pandora for my music. I am sure the sandisk cards would have been just fine as well.
I have the 128GB microSD card and it's great! Super fast, and stupid high capacity. But with picture and video file sizes getting bigger and bigger, and phones doing more and more, I believe that the space will come in handy. I've currently got LOTS of HD movies on it in the Note 3... but if I need the space on the Note 4 I can easily delete them.

Really makes no difference since the phone does not support the UHS-I speeds. The SanDisk Ultra would be as good as a more expensive ones.
sanddisk and Samsung are both highly rated as very good quality. You can't go wrong with either. I suggest which ever one on sale or cheaper that's the way to go.

http://www.amazon.com/Lexar-High-Performance-microSDHC-Memory-LSDMI128BBNL633R/dp/B00O1M21H8
Decided to go with it since Lexar (micron/crucial) makes the best chips and the warranty is better than the one provided by Samsung and SanDisk. But most importantly, it's faster than the current SanDisk.
I wish there was an option to up the voltage to the SD card readers in Samsung phones. I get that they lower the power for battery life and heat, buy I also want to get decent transfer speeds with my phone. No real point in getting an SD card above 48MB/s for phone use only as the required voltage for UHS-1 is not available. I do believe that all Snapdragons since the 600 support UHS-1 though. Too bad.
i'm curious about the 128 gb max storage on specification, does that mean phone+ micro sd = 128 max or 128gb micro sd+ phone internal storage?

128gb max is the microsdxc alone (but that's only because there aren't any 256GB microsdxc cards on the market)
it's 128gb + 32gb
Running SanDisk ultra sdxc 128GB in my GN3 and mt Go Pro Hero3 black .
Like computers, our devices tested/rated for what memory is currently available when the device is released.
For example GN3 is rated for 64GB sdxc, but 128GB works fine.
For what was initially stated in the OP.
The variants of "sd" are based on capacity. With few exceptions to some 4gb mSD cards, sdhc is 4gb-32gb , and sdxc is 64+GB for meow. Until something greater than 128GB is released, which may or may not be sdxc or variant of.
Whats the max speed can the note 4 read on sd card? Same as note 3 and other recents samsung phones?

THIS IS THE BEST CARD OUT PERIOD.
If you want the best, here you go:
Samsung Electronics 64GB PRO Micro SDXC with Adapter Upto 90MB/s Class 10 Memory Card (MB-MG64DA/AM)
For the cost of your kidney you can also opt for: Lexar High-Performance microSDHC 633x 128GB UHS-I Flash Memory Card LSDMI128BBNL633R
(However, I'd wait for Samsung's 128GB PRO ....one things for sure, you can count on it in every way.)
SanDisk is garbage...never again. The integrity of the cards have tanked over the years.
Go Samsung....

Lexar is every bit as good as Samsung if not better. they're owned by Micron/Crucial and are known in the photography and computer sphere for making the best chips out there, but I guess their stuff is marketed as more high brow so the average consumer isn't acquainted with the brand. Note that the Lexar cards have lifetime warranties for a reason.
