I can only see the colorfull circles,it just end up to home screen without displaying 'android' as shown in image.
I am using CM11 4.4.4 kitkat build for my HTC pico.
Fix it if possible, it would be nice to see 'android'
Report from minicm9 same with @Hanif Abuvani
Not showing the " android "
Edit : on cm11 it shows android but,can you make the boitanimation little longer about 5 or 10 seconds :cheers

Hi!
Could you please check this animation? Animation doesn't shows the word "android" on my device.
I am using Xperia Tipo with...
ROM: 11.0.A.4.27 Paradox V1
kernel: 3.0.8-perf

init.d: sorry, what info do you need about init.d?
Thank you.

This is a boot animation based on the TV show, The Event. Seemed like fun to make it have a Android theme.
Please read. I am not responsible for your lack of literacy or patience to read a few things. Don't say it doesn't work. I have tested it and it does.
This is a landscape boot animation, and has the dimensions of 480x800. If your screen size is different, you can change the desc.txt to reflect your screen size, or just ask me and I will do it.
Not this fast on a phone. Also the last image is the looping image so the whole animation does not start over.

I have included 2 ways of putting this on your phone, a bootanimation.zip to move in root explorer or equivalent, and a flashable zip (PLEASE NOTE, THE FLASHABLE ZIP INSTALLS IN /SYSTEM/MEDIA)
DOWNLOAD
Method 1;
NON Flashable
Move to the appropriate folder for your device and set permissions like this
Method 2;
Flashable
Flash via Clockwork Mod Recovery.
**SIZE ADDITIONS**
All Non-flashable bootanimation.zip's
Android Event 320x480
Android Event 480x854
Android Event 540x960
it looks pretty good.
This looks nice!!! Winning!!!
Looks nice!
Shame the show was cancelled though
Fan of The Event, and a fan of this boot animation! Sucks that NBC cancelled the show. Here's to hoping another network picks it up!
Does it works for Galaxy s2 ?
Thx !
Voted & Thanked..!!!
Thats all what I can do to appreciate tour awesome work..!!!
can you make this in 480 X 854?
to prevent people asking you how to install bootanimation.zip's on any ROM:
here I have a video guide for y'all
Love it! Maybe you should release a portrait one, just a thought.
WOw! Nice! I love it
Just a report, this doesn't work on the cLK versions of HD2 but does work on CWM version..!!!
EDIT: - Here I speak about the flashable version
Tried to install the flashable version on my HD2 via CWM, got a message saying that something was deprecated and could no longer be used after Android 1.5 or CWM 3.0...and that the installation was aborted.
After that I tried to boot into android again multiple times and it freezes at the boot logo and won't boot after 10 minutes...great.

Here you go. A non-flashable bootanimation.zip
Android Event 480x854
And I had a request for a 540x960. Here is that one. Same thing. A non-flashable bootanimation.zip

Nice animation! Can you do a flashable 320X480 please? Thanks.

Ok, the file did not work. The error that recovery gave me is this:
"Amend scripting (update-script) is no longer supported. Amend scripting was depreciated by google in android 1.5 It was necessary to remove it when upgrading to the clockworkmod 3.0 gingerbread based recovery. Please switch to Edify scripting (updater-script and update-binary) to create working update zip packages. Installation aborted."
Neat. I just use folder structure that is very basic and I guess 3.0 doesn't support those files. I put a non flashable bootanimation.zip on the OP in the size you requested.
I have a Vibrant and run CWR 2.5. So it worked on my phone. I'll have to get something 3.0 supports.

Hello all, I'm more or less new to the forums and I just want to say thank you for all the great support and content! So here is me trying to "give back to the community"
"Important: As usual this boot animation zip is not flashable and must be pushed via ADB or copied to your SDcard and then moved to the correct system folders.
Instructions: Push or copy the file "bootanimation.zip" just as it is d/l'd to either
/system/customize/resource or /system/media on your phone."

there is no sound file.
Note:If anyone wants a higher quality version let me know...if you think your phone can handle it
Also, if anyone wants a custom image on that wave instead of the android logo, I wont mind making it, as long as enough people "second" the idea.

I can't see the two images you have on your post.
I'm assuming your talking about the USA flag yes?
Also do you mean the CM7 logo, and if so, just the logo, or the cm7 text under it?
I think just the logo would look cleaner, yes/no?
Those are my banners not attachments lol
Yes I mean the united states flag
by cm7 I mean like a cyan colored flag with the cm7 logo instead of the android logo and maybe 'cm7' or 'cyangogenmod 7' under the 'android' or something, if you think you can make it look good that is
Again great animation and plz n thnx!

But no matter. I reduced the image to 480x800.
Please, check if everything is OK now

Well, it works but the speed is really slow and looks odd in landscape.

Very smooth and much cooler than the standard AOKP Unicorn.
ITS A REALLY VERY EASY TASK TO LEARN
THE STEPS U NEEDED TO FOLLOW
CREATE A FRESH FOLDER DESKTOP OR WHERE EVER U LIKE
THEN THERE CREATE SUB FOLDERS WHAT EVER THE NAME U NEEDED
MEAN IF U WANT TWO FOLDERS OR THREE AS U WISH
NOW THEN RIGHT CLICK SELECT NEW AND CREATE A TEXT PAGE NAME IT AS desc.txt
NOW OPEN THE .txt PAGE AND FIRST WRITE SCREEN RESOLUTION
AS FOLLOWED BY THE PICS
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
NOW THE FINAL THING IS ZIP AND THIS BOOT ANIMATIONS SHOULD NOT GET COMPRESSED
SELECT THE THREE FILES OR WHAT EVER YOU CREATED AND RIGHT CLICK ON SELECTED FILES AND SELECT ADD TO ARCHIVE
U WILL GET THIS MENU FOLLOW THE PICTURE
AND NOW AFTER THE ZIP NAME IT AS bootanimation AS SMALL LETTERS
NOW YOUR BOOT ANIMATIONS ARE READY TO USE
USING ROOT EXPLORER COPY THIS TO SYSTEM->MEDIA-> REPLACE THE BOOT ANIMATIONS AND NOW REBOOT
HAVE A JOY ON YOUR OWN BOOT ANIMATIONS

maybe it is not compatible on other android versions? it works fine to me. try to merge it on your settings, decompile it, get the smalis, and also the resources. Compare the ids then recompile. There's a guide out there on how to add activity in settings.
