Hello All,
I'm trying to stream a few 1080p wmv files on my tf101 (originally present on my laptop and accessing them over LAN through ASTRO file manager and then playing on my tf101) using a lot of video players such as Moboplayer, Yxplayer, aVia player, etc. However, none of these video player apps seem to play the videos seamlessly. All of the player start to lag once 30 secs of the video is played.
Any suggestions please? Have checked for this question in the forums and couldn't find any exact one. Sorry if I have repeated the question.
Thanks in advance.
Nanda.
I've had the best results streaming 1080p wmv files using MXplayer. All the other players would have the audio out of synch.
I'm trying to play a mkv file that's bluray 720p DTS X264, the video plays fine but there's no audio. I played youtube videos and there's audio. I've tried the following:
BS Player
MX Player
Mobo Player
File size: 2.17GB
The videos are on a Sandisk 32GB microSD class 10, exfat format. If it matters, the mkv file is prison break. Yes, I've tried playing the video on my PC and there's audio. The sound for the players are on max volume.
Install Dice player and search on xda how to solve the problem with dts and Dice player.

I haven't had any problems with BS Player (free version) and DTS audio. Granted I have only tried with 1080p video, but that shouldn't matter.
What tracks (and their encoding) does Media Info list in the mkv?
If there is more that 1 audio track, did you try playing another audio track?
Have you tried playing from internal storage?

MX Player is a good apps for playing video files. It support many video formats and subtitles.
MX Player also capable plying audio files. But I think, MX Player still lacks of feature as music player. One of them is, lyrics feature.
The lyrics can came from metadata tag from the audio file itself, or just like video subtitle (searching subtitle files in the file folder).
I hope MX Player will be able to show plain lyrics (.txt) and also lyrics with timestamp (.lrc) and common subtitles (.srt, .ass) while playing audio files.
Thank you.
MX Player is primarily a video player. If you want audio player features, you should go with something like Poweramp Music Player.
Hi there. I have a note 3 phone and a note 10 tablet. When I try to play video filmed by note 3, specifically smooth video, the playback stutters. I tried the video player, km player, mx player, mx zing, bs player, vlc and most do not even play the video, and those who do, play it with pauses and stuttering.
Does anyone know of a video player and/or some that would allow playing the videos directly without transforming them?
What device do you have and what ROM are you running on it, because I have no issues on my n8013, using mx player.
Is there an android video player that can remember my track selections from the previous video?
Use mx player

MX player only remembers the selections of the video already played. What I want is for the next video to have the same track as the previous video played.
No, but in mx player you can mark and play the videos you want
