i can root my device and install costume recovery if i have the L version ?
by the way if i want to restore to my 4.4.4 version i just need to install the 4.4.4 image in my recovery?
There's a dedicated thread for L Q&A...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2796217
Try asking there. More than one thread leads to clutter.
Also....read a bit of it...your answer is surely already there. ?

SEARCH A BIT before you post/create threads.
You are not new here. So, please refrain from this.

Here ist the [XGO] UPDATED(9/22/13)! Index of ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries & Tools by ronald_sugar7 thread.
But I can't find a stock Android 4.2 file there. Maybe Sony hasn't released this Android version officially for your device. Or the index thread is not updated any more.
But you can check the Xperia Go Android Development forum for the newest (custom) ROM versions.
If you need further help or have other questions about your device, please register on xda and ask in the [FAQs][Q/A][Xperia P,U,Sola & Go]Help Thread, Newbies post here first by Abhinav2 thread.
Good luck !

Also where do I get the Android 5.X to convert my existing 4.1.2 to 5.X? Is there any procedure to be followed during doing this?
Hi!
Here is your device section,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2
The development sections have many roms to choose from, assuming you have installed a custom recovery.
If not, I suggest reading the guides and frequently asked questions threads in the General and Q&A sections... Usually near the top of the first pages.
There's a lot to read and learn about here... You'll need to dedicate time for this hobby.
If you have further questions , you can open a thread in the Q&A section.
Good luck!

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
You must be referencing this thread:
> General discussion > Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking > [ROOT] Xperia E4g & E4
Please create an account (so you can post in other forums), if you haven't already, and then add a post to that thread, noting the Android version you have (sounds like 5.1.1).
Hope this helps, and good luck!
