unlocked hox att update to4. 2.2 - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I have hox att unlocked phone in india and I want to update it using stock rom 4.2.2
I want to know that will it relock my phone ?
Unlocked means carrier unlocked.
And I don't wana pay again for unlock codes
Help me plz

No it won't relock it, once you've SIM unlocked a phone it stays that way. One very important question though, do you ever want to unlock the bootloader, root it, install custom ROMs? If so, you must unlock the bootloader before installing the 4.2.2 update. If you take the update without unlocking the bootloader first you'll never be able to. If you're happy with a stock device don't worry about it, but I feel a duty to warn you just in case.

Also, I assume you're going to use an RUU to update your device. You must check something first, to do that you'll need to access your bootloader.
To boot into the bootloader there are two methods.
With phone powered on
Hold the volume down button, then hold the power button (so you're holding both buttons together), the button lights will start to flash, they will stop flashing and the screen will go blank, after a couple of seconds let go of the power button but continue to hold the volume down button until you reach the white screen with text, this is your bootloader.
With phone powered off
Hold the volume down button, then hold the power button (so you're holding both buttons together), after a couple of seconds let go of the power button but continue to hold the volume down button until you reach the white screen with text, this is your bootloader.
Please post the first five lines.
You'll also need to check your CID, for that you need to have adb/fastboot installed, as well as drivers to make it work. To get adb/fastboot installed just Google "minimal adb and fastboot" and the first result will be an XDA thread with detailed instructions. To get the drivers you can install HTC Sync Manager (from the HTC site), then connect your phone to the PC and the drivers should install automatically. Once the drivers are installed you should uninstall HTC Sync Manager because it gets in the way, leave the drivers installed obviously.
To use fastboot just boot into the bootloader as described earlier, correct your phone to your PC, open a command prompt from within your fastboot folder (navigate to where you have fastboot.exe installed, press shift + right click, select open command prompt here), and first issue this command:
Code:
fastboot devices
The command prompt could return your device serial number, if it doesn't you'll probably need to check your drivers. If it does you can go ahead and issue this command:
Code:
fastboot oem readcid
Please post what it says now.

software upgrade to 5.18.502.1
This software upgrade available for your HTC One X for AT&T provides the following key enhancements:
· Android Version: 4.2.2
· HTC Sense: 5.0
For more details about the changes in this software update, please visit
htc at&t usa official website for more info

Ok, that's cool, you can run that RUU and should have no issues. Backup anything important just I'm case though. Just connect your phone in bootloader mode and run the exe program in Windows, make sure HTC Sync Manager is uninstalled (leave drivers installed), make sure no other programs are running, make sure screen saver/hibernation is turned off.

how to backup every thing?
what it mean that it will wipe all the data.?
what if i dont uninstall sync manager.
please give me some more guidance about it.

Where does it say anything about wiping data? You can mount the sd card to your PC and backup images, videos, music, all of your personal data, just by copying it to your PC. You can use an app called Helium to backup the apps that you have installed. If you don't uninstall HTC Sync Manager it can interfere with the RUU process and brick your phone.

but this will not written any where on htc website in user manual to uninstall sync manager.
If you are outside of AT&T/Wi-Fi coverage, or the update is not found, you may perform a manual system update. This process requires that you download and install HTC Sync Manager first in order to get the proper drivers. If you do not have HTC Sync Manager installed already, you may download the software from http://www.htc.com/www/software/htc-sync-manager/.
WARNING: Performing the system update manually will delete all information from the device. Ensure all information is backed up before proceeding. See the Help & How To section of this website for more information on backing up your device contents.
Performing the ROM Update:
1. Download and save the HTC One™ X for AT&T ROM update to your PC.
2. Connect your device to your PC via the supplied USB cable.
3. If the device is not recognized by the PC, ensure you have HTC Sync Manager installed and then disconnect and reconnect the device from the USB cable.
4. Once the device is properly recognized on the PC, locate the HTC One™ X for AT&T ROM Update that you downloaded. Double-click on the file to launch the system update wizard.
5. Follow all of the system update wizard instructions shown on your PC.
6. Once the update is complete, click Finish in the Wizard and the device will reboot.
7. Once the device reboots, the initial setup wizard will appear.
8. Once the initial setup process is complete, the device is ready for use.
Note: If the ROM update wizard fails to recognize the device, close the wizard and then follow the steps below:
· From a powered off state, hold VOLUME DOWN while powering on the device.
· Use the volume buttons to scroll to FASTBOOT and then press the POWER button to select it.
· Connect the device to the PC while in this state and attempt the ROM update again.

Fine, leave HTC Sync Manager installed and see what happens. It's your phone, your risk. The fact is that Sync Manager can disrupt the fastboot connection to the device. If the RUU loses connection with the device during the RUU process it can brick the phone. Do you know what that means? It means your phone will be a paperweight. Why are you so concerned about uninstalling the program when you've been told you could brick your phone by leaving it installed?
I don't see why you came here asking for the advice of experts if you're just going to argue with the advice you're given. I'm probably more experienced with this device than the person that wrote those directions you posted, but don't listen to me if you don't want to, I don't care. Don't bother asking for any more advice if you are just going to ignore it though.

By the way that all stuff is written on htc website.
Don't know what to do plz give me suggedtion

I already told you what you need to do in post #6, check that again and follow those directions, it's as simple as that. You'll know if the drivers are installed correctly when you initiate the RUU, if it doesn't connect properly you'll need to check your drivers.
Are you sure you want to stay with the stock at&t ROM though? I ask because you won't be able to use tethering on the device because at&t deliberately break that feature on their ROMs. If tethering isn't important to you, you needn't worry about it but I thought I better inform you of that.

I've been having problems whereby when I turn off the EVO and then hold the "power" and "volume-down" buttons it goes directly into HBOOT - not giving me any option to select HBOOT USB. I press the voume-down button, but it doesn't do anything. Of course it winds up not being able to find PCIMAGE.zip and the root FAILS.
Any advice? All my drivers are current (I even tried to install the drivers mentioned and it said all my drivers were already current). I am in "charge mode" only, and I am in USB debugging. I am also on a Windows 7 machine.
Many thanks for your help in this matter.

There's no need for the RUU. What does the unrevoked app say its doing right now?
Video walkthrough has been posted. Check the OP for the link
I didn't use this I updated the pcm36.img but it says boot- fail pu
But it will update everything else, I bought the phone from someone he gave me the phone on the older 2.1-update1 it was originally rooted it does say S-OFF so I'm not 100% if that's my issue then towards the end it said partition failed, is my nbest bet to start from scratch from what it seems?? Flash stock evo ruu and root with unrevoked from that

[Q] HTC Sensation bootloop

Hello xda,
a friend of mine just gave me his HTC Sensation because it isnt running quite a while. The problem is that i haven't had a HTC device ever and I don't really know what to do and what information you need to help me so I'd be happy if u just tell me what information you need and I will try to get them for you.
The Information I got so far is:
- if I want to boot it, it stays at the HTC Logo
- CWM starts with some errors but you can't perform a wipe (just turns off)
- Bootloader starts as well but you can't perform wipe either, nor flash new CWM
- If i connect it with the computer while in fastboot it changes to "fastboot usb" but adb cannot find the device, though i installed first the drivers, lateron htc sync. Windows just calls it "myhtc"
bootloader says:
"PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT . 1.27.1100
RADIO - 11.22.3594.07_M
OpenADSP-v02.6.0.2226.00.0131
eMMC-boot

So what should I try to do or what information will you need.
I would be very happy if u can help me

Hi,
Go HERE
Install 4 EXT recovery, using one of the 3 methods available.(probably third)
Then, try to install ARHD ROM.(same guide)
No need to change the firmware.
So I just tried to flash 4 EXT Recovery but it doesn't work..
It finds the zip, ask me whether i want to start the update, i press vol up and "Update is in progres.." appears but nothing more, I'm waiting since 5 minutes and will probably have to power off the phone now.. the same happened when i tried to install cwm so theres something wrong with the bootloader?
What can I do now?

Hi,
Maybe you should run a RUU.
Look HERE
I also thought about this but as I said adb doesn't find the device.
Since I never ran a RUU, can I still flash or do I have to get adb to run with the device.
Anyway, I cannot read out the CID of the device so if it is possible, which RUU should I flash?
Thanks for your help

Hi,
Try installing these windows 7 & 8 drivers (assuming you have a windows 7 or 8 machine)
Reboot your PC and see if your phone is recognized in ADB.
You are s-off,so you do not have to match it 100%
Just get a RUU that is close to your region or carrier.
If you get the wrong one,it is not a problem.
It will just give you an error.
Then,just try another.
)
Well I just installed those drivers but same result as before..
Windows says "MyHTC" and after i write "adb devices" into the cmd window it says "daemon not running. starting it on port 5037. daemon started succesfully. List of devices attached." and the next time i write adb devices it just says "List of devices attached".
Bootloader still says Fastboot USB.
So maybe there's something wrong with my adb?
Well can i flash RUU without adb finding my device or cant I?

Hi,
Not sure what is happening with your ADB.
Look HERE for help.
In order to run a RUU ,you need to put the bootloader into fastboot, and plug in the USB.
It should show what yours is showing.
So, it should work.
After "List of devices attached" there is no device shown, I didn't leave anything adb shows, so this is still right? Usually it always shows my device ^^
So my adb is probably not running right or it is about my phone
So my next step should be adb showing my device and therefore reinstall android sdk, java, stuff until it might show the phone
or just do something with the phone?
I still think that i cannot run a ruu without any device shown? Didnt really get an answer on this question I guess or I didnt realize it

Hi,
Just run the RUU.
It will only show error if it does not work.
No big deal, and no damage done.
Just try another one.
if you enable usb debugging might help too
Well.. I just started "RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.50.401.1_Radio_10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M_release_223042_signed" and everything went fine until installation, no errors at all. Now the installer is stuck at "restarting bootloader" (or something equal, the installation is german) and the phone didnt do anything at all. It's now 15 minutes since the installation started so I probably will try another one but isn't it weird that ther is no error at all?
What should I do if the next RUU does exactly the same?
*edit:
just seeing page 2. How should I enable usb debugging without booting the phone?
*edit2:
second RUU: Same thing, no error but it didnt go further then "Restarting bootloader".
What to do now?
Any further Ideas what I could try?

Hi,
Try running a RUU with the same radio (11.22) that you have installed.
You will not damage the phone.
It is not always an exact science with RUU.
Sometimes it is just trial and error.
So it is often that there is no error at all?
I just thought flashing wrong RUU will cause an error and not stopping at restarting bootloader. And anyway the bootloader seems pretty broken since it is not flashing anything at all ^^
Still i gonna try it

Hi,
Probably ,the only thing that will fix your problem is a RUU.
So,keep trying different ones until it works.
I finally managed to find the phone via adb! I think that's a great step.
The biggest problem is that I lose any contact to the phone when i reboot it into bootloader.
I can just boot the phone into recovery and use any other adb function but as soon as I boot it into bootloader I can't do anything anymore.
That's why I cannot use any fastboot commands to flash a zip, neither run a RUU completely i guess.
So I think that i need any rom to either flash via recovery or just via PC not using fastboot/bootloader at all.
Are there any possibilities for me now?

Hi,
Plug your phone into the PC.
Go to device manager, and where it says MyHTC,right click and update driver.
Browse to the windows 7 & 8 drivers I gave you earlier.
Update,unplug phone ,and reboot PC.
Get a RUU that shows 3.32 or 3.33 in the title, and matches your region
Pull your battery.
Put it back in,and hold volume down and power button together.
Scroll to fastboot.
Plug in usb and run RUU from the PC

[Q] HTC Inspire Red Traingle Exclamation Won't reset

Hello,
I was reading a thread on someone who had the exact same issue, but no solution was ever posted.
Here's the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1458066
Background - this is a friends HTC Inspire, no rooting or anything was attempted, factory untouched phone bought new from AT&T.
Turns on, eventually goes to a 2 green arrows in a circle around a phone and then to a red triangle with red exclamation point over a black phone. I can hold the volume up and power to reset or wipe cache, neither does anything. Comes back to the same screen. says:
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command
-- Wiping data...
Formatting /data...
E:Can't open /data/cwpkg.zip
E:Can't open /data/cw.prop
E:Can't open /cache/cwpkg.zip

I tried formatting the sd card and using recovery and stock rom to load, nothing worked, as if not recognized. The sd card had data on it(which was accessible), which I transfered to the computer before formatting.
Any ideas? I have never used an android device but I've been reading through this forum and others for hours now... phone is outside of warranty now too, so that's no longer an option. Thanks in advance.
Devin
It failed during the update to the current rom version or was reset/lost power during update. Use a pc to download the most recent ruu update for the inspire from HTC. Then download and install htc sync on pc. Place phone into fastboot mode with sd card inserted and then plug into pc. Run ruu from pc. Data will be lost but phone will be usable.

So Gizmoe, I am in the same boat as original poster. I downloaded the correct ruu from HTC , but PC won't recognize phone. Point of clarification
When you say "place phone into fast boot mode" does that mean just connect to PC at that point or do I shut phone down and then connect. I've been going bonkers since ATT pushed software update and bricked the phone.
Thanks for any advice.

Ok, we'll I got it into fast boot USB mode, plugged in USB to PC, ran exe ruu file (which takes forever btw) and then got connection error. Ruu application then exits. Must be something hosed up in the phone with drivers. Bummer
I just checked Windows devices and it is showing as a "Device failed enumeration" error. Trying to troubleshoot that but have my doubts right now. I did notice that when I connected it earlier today PC saw it as G drive for a split second and then it dropped.

Do you have HTC sync installed and running?
Hi Gizmoe. Well I have HTC Sync but I didn't think I needed to have that running. I just ran the ruu exe file, but got connection error. I just tried HTC Sync with phone in fastboot usb mode but HTC Sync can't see it. Version of HTC Sync is 3.3.63. The other thing I noticed is that if phone is off and plugged into PC it is recognized as a removable device with a G: drive letter in device manager, but doesn't show up in file explorer and running exe or HTC Sync still can't see it.
If it's connected when it's in fastboot usb mode then windows says "last device connected malfunctioned " and PC doesn't see it.
I'm in this catch 22. Tried to do recovery process to install a ruu off sdcard which errors out, and can't install ruu from pc since phone usb connection not recognized.

UPDATE: I decided to just try the recovery method again while the phone was plugged into USB cable just to charge it. Well it downloaded the latest HTC version of the ROM and it installed....YEAH, BUT phone thinks it's a Desire , not an Inspire and the IMEI MMEI etc. info is missing. No connectivity to mobile network. And I don't have keyboard function either. Sooo, I think I will try another ruu and see if that works starting from scratch. I guess I'm still missing some files or steps in this process. I used to be in the PC business and thought they could be convoluted, but cellphones take the cake.

Yes they do. Just an fyi the desire and inspire are exactly the same device and HTC left the inspire name out of the build prop. It will say it's a desire HD, so that's normal. The rest isn't though. Yeah I would try the ruu again. Just make sure HTC sync is installed and running. You can run it from the phones os too.

Gizmoe, thought I'd give you the latest update: I was able to finally get the PC (Win8) to recognize the phone by installing HTC Sync 3.3.63, installing Win7 64bit drivers.
Then I downloaded RUU_Ace_Sense30_S_Cingular_US_3.20.502.63_Radio_12.69c.60.29U_26.09.13.17_M_release_335423_signed from HTC site. This is an exec file.
Got phone into USB debugging mode, fastboot off , charge only, and ran the above RUU. Seemed to be working as it asked if I wanted to update etc. and warned about losing data. Said ok and RUU exec then popped up status window saying "Waiting for bootloader......................"
This ran for a few minutes and then Windows popped up message saying last USB device connected failed. Then RUU exec finally popped up and said Connection Error 171. No choice but to exit program. This has happened twice. Very annoying. Took forever to get PC to recognize phone and now I'm still stuck with a brick thanks to ATT.
Any thoughts ?

UPDATE:
SUCCESS !! :good: Well it only took a boatload of patience and a 7 yr. old laptop running XP to get the phone re-imaged. Process was sloooow (about 30 minutes) but all drivers loaded and the stock ROM from HTC installed fine. Phone is now back to operational. Turns out I didn't lose contacts since they were apparently backed up in Google account. (YEAH) Now I just have to manually install 4 more small security patches from HTC. Their website isn't too clear as to how to do this but I'll muddle thru it.
Thanks Gizmoe for your help and suggestions. You are right I would definitely recommend that anyone trying to root, recover or re-image from scratch an Android from a PC to avoid Win8 at this time and stick with Win7 or XP.
Help me please!

A PD98IMG is a way to install various things but requires an s off device. It is not a method to acheive s off. What exactly is the problem you are having? Are you not able to boot your device? If you are still stock, run the current RUU from HTC through fastboot as explained in previous posts in this thread.
HTC bootloader problem
Gizmoe, I am joining this group, I have the same problem, followed all steps. my problem is that RUU during the process sends msg to phone to reboot and start Bootloader my phone reboots and stays with white screen / green HTC logo (freezes?) RUU after waiting for Bootloader returns error 171 connection problem. My guess is that bootloader is not starting and RUU times out and thinks that it is connection problem.
Uninstalled sync and reinstalled latest version, deleted and re downloaded latest RUU. System recognizes phone ( device manager shows HTC). Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yeah there seems to be a communication issue. Try putting phone into fastboot. Make sure phone reads fastboot usb. Then run RUU. There may be programs in pc as well blocking it. See if you can send fadtboot commands if the aforementioned method doesn't work. If that's how you already tried running it then run it from booted phone.

ADB doesn't see my HTC One X

My post that died.. please read also
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48646053#post48646053
Hello guys, long story short.. a little while ago I tried upgrading my ROM to 4.4.4 and found out that i have to turn S-off and install the RUU 3.18 i think it was. Upon doing this I came to find out that my phone isn't being listed when I type adb devices. I have debugging mode on and install the latest HTC drivers and uninstalled HTC sync, but yet it wont list my device.
I did some research and found out it could be the current rom I have installed causing it not being listed and that I may have to use another ROM to get windows to see my phone. But I dont think I can flash another rom because I cant get into TWRP now. I can get in bootloader but now recovery doesnt work and i cant get into TWRP anymore,I think I also have to update Hboot too.
My question is how do I go about getting my phone listed in adb and how can install twrp again.. Its been soo long since I did this I may need some help. If i can get ADB to list my phone I should be able to do the upgrading myself.
I'm taking a break atm as this is giving me a huge headache. I know Its not hard to flash if you have ADB working. Or TWRP but I dont have either of them. Can anyone shed some light for me please..

So to make sure I understand your situation:
1. You CAN boot into your rom
2. You CANNOT boot into your Recovery (I'm assuming bootloop)
3. You CANNOT see your device in adb OR fastboot (please confirm)
So here's the best case scenario. You are NOT running Windows 8.1 and you can see your device in fastboot while in the bootloader. In this case, S-OFF again and flash recovery as usual. If your ARE running Win 8.1 .... well we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
To debug your adb problem plug your phone into your computer. Does your phone respond in any way? Do you see the device show up on your computer for file transfer? If any of these things is true, rejoice! For there is hope! This is just for assurance, but you do have developer settings turned on and adb enabled right? Have you tried other usb ports? I forget if there is authentication in 4.2.2 but if there is, did you add you trust your computer? Try revoking all trusted computers and try again. Have you tried the newest version of ADB? Have you tried a different cord? If you have tried ALL of these, open up device manager. This can be done by simply typing into the search in start on both Win7/8. Now look at the top of the list. Do you see anything like ADB Interface or Android Device? If not, do you see any unrecognized devices or any device with an exclamation mark under Other Devices or Universal Serial Bus Controller? If any of these is true, right click the device and select properties. It'll be best to post a screen shot at this point. But if you're an intrepid risk seeker, go to the driver tab and hit uninstall. Next unplug your device, wait a few moments and plug it back in. You should see a driver installation progress. I've also attached the generic Google drivers that I know for sure works should you need it. Now try adb again and hopefully your device shows up:highfive:
If all is wrong with the world, and you do not see anything when you connect your phone, try on different computer with a different cord.

HTC One Mini (M4_U4) Softbricked, OEM not unlocked, USB debug not enabled, bootloop

Hi all,
My HTC One Mini crashed one month after warranty (Boo!). I can get to the FASTBOOT and BOOTLOADER screen and select options. However, the Factory reset and recovery just cause a vibration and get be back to FASTBOOT menu. The phone is *** LOCKED ***.
After a few false starts on linux and mac machines, I've installed WinDroid Toolkit v3.1 on Windows 7. I have gotten the Token ID and used it to get an Unlock_code.bin via email from the HTC developers website (Cannot link as newb). However, when I follow the instructions in WinDroid it recommends that newer devices require "Enable OEM Unlock" to be set:
I cannot do this now. I continue but when it says a menu will appear on the phone, the menu does not and the phone remains in *** LOCKED *** state. I tried continuing with step 2 "Flashing a TWRP" but it does nothing.
TL;DR Am I screwed with having previously unlocked OEM on my HTC One Mini, now that it is soft-bricked?
I'm not that good at this stuff, but managed to get mine unlocked and a recovery on it via this link
sadly mine still has a problem in that it's now stuck in a boot loop, so don't use Oneclickroot as I did in my post here
hopefully you will get yours to work ok, but when you get to instruction 17 you may find that HTC website is quite fussy with the code you copy/paste
when you copy the Identifier block into Notepad or whatever, ensure you don't get any leading blank spaces before you submit it to HTC.
this excerpt from mine had blank spaces where I have inserted red X's, but it worked with them removed and HTC then emailed me the Unlock_code.bin file

sorry,
lost the plot on my first reply and forget about the OEM unlock bit ...
to get that OEM unlock bit you would normally
first Enable Developer Modeon your phone by Launching the Settings Application -
Scroll Down and Tap on About Phone(or About Device) - Locate the Build Number Section - Tap on the Build Number Option 7 Times -
Go Back to the Main Settings Page - Scroll Down and Tap on Developer Options and it's found there
but given that you are in is bad a place as me in that we cannot get a bootup, I'm afraid I can't offer any more info,
but it's worth knowing anyway in case you do get booted up
Hi, i have the same issue, but a little different.
My phone was in a box for like 2 months, and then i decide to turn it on again, and i faced the same problem as the OP, but my One Mini is UNLOCKED, and i can't lock it again because i get an error in ADB. I try to enter on recovery (and flashed three differents recoveries without sucess), and reboot in bootloader, then try to factory reset, and reboot bootloader again. It don't do anything, only turn on when i plug the usb and enter in bootloader but no more than that. i've try to flash a RUU too, but it give me the error 171. i tried too the method with the rubber band pressing the power button to cause a reboot loop and get enough charge to launch the system but nothing, i don't see any results. I'm one step closer to give up, please help, i tried everything and nothing has worked for me. If need more information don't doubt on asking me. I really appreciate any help you can provide.
I'll try mate ... but perhaps you are asking for help from the wrong guy! - firstly I have to say mine is still in a very bad place! -
I managed to get a permanent TWRP on it, installed a lovely rom named InsertCoin on it, rebooted, and all seemed fine, but then the battery drained rapidly and it would not charge - that issue is ongoing and I'm spending ages on it just now..
Firstly can you confirm that you can enter Bootloader and select Fastboot, and that your phone is then recognised by your PC?
ie: let me know what happens when you press power and vol down together, select fasboot, goto PC, run ADB, cable phone to PC,
then issue the command ADB devices
can you also upload a photo of your bootloader screen

i don't need to press vol down and power together, the phone enter in bootloader once you plug the usb cable. it do that alone.
This is what i get
C:\adb>adb devices
List of devices attached
C:\adb>
the phone is recognized by HTC Sync manager but i can't see it in ADB.
a few things things jump out at me ...
1. from your photo the screen is shattered! - even though I don't like being beaten by phones I would scrap it
the repair would cost more than you can get one from ebay for - about £40.00
2. "abd devices" should return you something like ... "List of devices attached sh3d7h3dj631f6a7" - when it doesn't it show a device number it's usually your drivers
3. you may think that's not it since you say that it is recognised by HTC Sync when on your PC, but I had read that HTC sync is unreliable and that the drivers are not the best
the one's I used were HTC-Mobile-USB Driver-v4.17.0.001.exe but I can't remember where I got them and will upload them later today and send you a link.
(also, it pays to plug your usb cable into a rear port on your PC when doing this kind of work as front are not as reliable)
4. your Hboot is shown as 2.22 -this also can be a problem for TWRP see this link
5. the download link he has is broken, so get any TWRP above 2.7 from their website here

2. I will leave you down here exactly what i get when i type "adb devices" (with an attached image)
3. i have installed the latest HTC drivers, and i tried connecting my phone to front an rear usb ports, both of them. No results.
4. Down here i'll leave you an attached image of what i get when i try to install a recovery by typing "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" (i changed the name to recovery.img of course) and the phone seems installing the recovery in fastboot but it gave me that error in adb and when i try to enter in recovery it reboots on bootloader.
your first image does not 'see' your device mate, so there is no point in trying a flash of anything
until you get a response from "adb devices" that shows a device number you have no chance of getting anywhere!
I am quite certain that the problem MUST be with your drivers
my advice would be to uninstall the HTC Sync and clean out any drivers on your PC and to install the drivers and flash the TWRP I mentioned earlier
sorry I didn't upload earlier as I've been very busy indeed - they are now on my Google Drive ... links here .... and here
