Has anyone figured out a way to change the font and have it reflect within the blinkfeed launcher? I replaced the default font with one from font installer, but the default font only gets changed in non Sense based apps. Does anyone know where the fonts that sense uses are stored?

If I select anything other than default font it works fine, however, the font installer app changes what font is considered default. After I install a font and select "default font" to apply it, only certain items system wide accept the change. See attached photo. The launcher font stays the same while the clock and widget took the font change.

I see. Try a different font. They have another skinny looking one pre installed. My screenshot was from the Ubuntu font. There's a font thread somewhere around the m8 forums with known compatible fonts lemme go find it and post it

What is best app for screenshots?
I have Screenshot It. It worked perfectly with Inspire 4G. With Atrix 2, I have to set Invert Colors and then it works.
But about half the time, the first time I attempt a screenshot, it says it is doing it but nothing happens (using status bar swipe to initiate). When I initiate a second time, the screenshot is taken and save popup occurs. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks for this will try it out as I'm always changing fonts and looking for new ones . Not sure about granting a font app super user permissions to my phone though. I think I'll just deal with rebooting after each install. great job though!

Am I correct in understanding that there's a hack for some devices whereby increasing (changing?) the dpi value in the framework alters the screen layout and removes the top status bar in Jellybean? I'm running with CM10 at the moment (thanks aorth!) but I couldn't quite gather from all the existing threads whether it's entirely possible to get rid of the status bar, what consequences there might be, or even how to go about it. Is it a build.prop tweak? On-device or thru adb shell? Any clarification appreciated....:silly:
You need to lower the dpi to at most 133 I believe. Be warned, the text will be small, but you will get the hc layout back

Use root explorer to edit the build.prop in /system. You have to mount it read/write first, then edit ro.sf.LCD.density. it should be 160 stock, change it to 133 then reboot. Make sure to be using a launcher that supports it, like apex or you will get massive fcs
Sent from my myTouch 4g via Tapatalk
Awesome at 133. Toggles in the status is more usable for me, especially having the brightness slider back. Also a lot of apps, such as settings now have the two pane layout again, bonus!
Notification icons also now not too small, and makes them useful again.

Trebuchet works fine for me at 133 dpi. The icons & text are a little small, but not too bad. To center the display properly change the grid from 6x6 to 7x7. If anyone knows of a launcher that has larger icons at those settings, please let us know.

Could you try to add an option for an app drawer that is like aosp? I hate list lol
Great work man!
Its launcher specific. You can choose any sort of app drawer you want. I have changed mine back to the aosp drawer also. I should probably say I'm just using existing apps to do this. I'm not smart enough to write any such coding to create a launcher myself.

Creating a launcher is pretty easy all you need to do is create an android application with an intent for a launcher and now it's a launcher. The hard part is in creating all the live tiles and making them customizable.
Is there a link?

If you want a WP8 launcher there is already one in the market that is pretty cool. Another big update is suppose to come shortly for it as well...

It's centered in a way. It's not aligned dynamically by weight of what's presented on screen. The text on the left of the weather icon is right-aligned and the info on the right of the icon is left-aligned, if that makes sense. I assume if the weather actually read out to be 52 Fahrenheit and there was more text on the right, it'd look a lot more aligned even though nothing changed in terms of alignment.
