Sorry but xda has no specific forum for your device.
So you have to check General section and post your questions in general Q&A section.
There is a method to manually edit the /system/build.prop file, which may help ... worth a try IMO. (On most devices the entry to change is called "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0".)
But remember to backup the original file before changing anything.
EDIT: Here is a nice thread about Android L Softkeys ... but it's for a different device.

You shud not flash a custom ROM of any device to any device. FIRST search IF CM ROM for mmx a100 is available or search this forum for if anyone has created a custom ROM for your device and only then flash it. Flashing any rom will definately hardbrick ur device and make it completely useless.
how to install cm 9/10 on mmx A100
Thanks for the quick reply.
Yes I have seen, there are cm9/10 themes for mmx a100 on forum and also from COBALT developers.
Just a quick tutorial for how to install cm9/10 would be a great Help.
Thanks
If it is just Themes then u should be able to download it and apply using the default launcher(forgot the option) or if you are using Go Launcher, Apex, Nova launcher etc then you must go to their themes option and your CM9/10 themes will be listed there. Just select it. First check what kind of launcher the theme is for. The steps for applying them must also be given where they are given.
how to install cm 9/10 on mmx A100
You are right but have already have seen all these launchers and they do support cm9/10 themes but the issue is the phone should be rooted and cm9/10 should be already installed on the phone...n you r correct as I was not taking bout installing any new rom but just installing new themes ofcm9/10 as I really likedthem over normal themes...but again I need to root my phone and then install cm9/10...and then ony can I install these themes....so if my basic question can be answered, would br helpful....how to install cm9/10 on mmx A100

HI everyone!
I just recently installed V20a lollipop on my phone via LG OTA update, rooted it using 1 click root and installed bootloader using the method found on the MLKernel thread (run batch file > installs chinese recovery > install app to install english philz).
I was wondering, can I flash another kind of 5.0 based ROM on top of what I have now? (rooted stock w/ recovery and custom kernel) or do I have to go through several hoops like bootloader unlock? I know for sure the Optimus G requires an unlocked bootloader (my phone before this).
I was planning on flashing a 5.0 ROM i found on a random site that's built like stock android (i love stock), but I'm not sure if there are any more pre-requisites before flashing.
ADDED:
Here's the link to the site i found: http://www.unlock-bootloader.info/mp3-0/lg-g-pro-2-6052.html
If it makes any difference, my device is the international D838 16gb version.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks
what kind of rom is this? stock with original lollipop theme?

I do not think its a genuine ROM. Following is the give away:-
In tutorial it says:-
1. Install the ROM Manager on your LG G Pro 2 . Get it from Google Play Store, then install the clockwork mod recovery. You also can use ROM Installer application from JRummy Apps Inc.(Get it from Google Play Store).
ROM Manager is not compatible with GPRO2. You cannot install recovery like that on GPro 2
2. There is no AOSP/AOKP/CM/Google Stock (screenshots are for some CM type ROM) available for our device.
3. The link Tutorial Video : Easy Way To Download ROM mentioned on the page is a video for some survey filling tutorial.
Honestly I did not have the guts to check the download links.

Cyrus
After root & flashing tab 2 is not not working properly (Android 5.1 Lollipop CM12.1)
I never flashed and rooted and android before so today I tried on my tab 2 gt-p3100 and results are not good. After flashing the custom rom my internet is not working properly. Specially 3g is not working and 2g is now slow also restricting me to use some websites and play store too. I never expected such results from It. Please advise me what should I do now. Can I go back to the official Samsung's status how it was when I purchased (unrooted and 4.1.1.) .
Also if 5.1 is not compatible to my device, than what should be the best custom rom for it?
I installed Android 5.1 Lollipop CM12.1 custom ROM

Hello to all.
Well, I have an old Motorola Cliq XT (mb501) (a friend gave it to me) that I want use like a backup phone. This smartphone has an old Android version (Android 1.5, official ROM) and I can't use basic apps like WhatsApp or Facebook Lite, so I tried upgrade to Android 2.3 using CM7. I downloaded it and I decide use the official CM guide. I haven't got any problem rooting and installing the custom recovery, but when I want boot to recovery mode is necessary use the camera and the power button. And here is the problem: this phone apparently have it (see this photo) but, if you disarm it, there is nothing and I can't boot the recovery. Is there a way to boot the recovery without using the camera button?
Regards and sorry for my broken english.

Hi. I have Tab 3 lite or SMT113. it was vanilla but i decided to root and just install custom roms as it was just very old. First i bricked it but i used a pc to get official firmware back and then rooted again using kingroot and installed twrp. I installed the latest custom rom for this tab which was Lineageos 14.1 based on Androud 7.1.2. However i didnt like it as it seemed like there was no use of Gpu acceleration and it was very laggy. I m looking for a rom that is android 7+ or android 6 or above. Can anyone please help its kinda my only device. I may be getting a new one but PLEASE someone make a rom for this thing. Android kitkat is starting to lose support for some apps. I m using Fyrestone rom something which is better then stock but still looking for better roms with android 6+. I went on a few forums but they all are dead. Android 8.1.0 is not working and the links have been removed. Even CM11 threads and Android 9 are dead. pLease help users like me who have this device as their only device
