I got my Transformer yesterday and so far I have been happy. I got the keyboard today and when I went to connect it, that's when my issues started. The mouse cursor appears on the screen, the status bar shows the keyboard is attached, and the battery shows that it's charging.
However, the keys and trackpad do not work. I have noticed that if I rapidly press keys while inserting the tablet, I can hear clicks for about 5 seconds, but then it stops. What's strange is I can mount external storage via USB.
I have not rooted my tablet, and I have tried restoring to stock settings, and rerun the update. Not sure what else to do. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem

Maybe you can try the newest FW-V8.2.3.13 with Dock 0209 for solving this problem.
Hey, i was wondering anyone else was having this issue.
I have the Tf700 with the TF700 dock and everything was working great until recently. All of sudden now some of the top row of keys do not work/dont do anything when i press them. My: wifi switch key, bluetooth key, turn off touchpad key, and the screen brightness keys do not work. All the other keys on the keyboard work. Ive only had this tablet and keyboard for 3 weeks. Ive rooted and unlocked and its been working perfectly fine until this morning i went to turn off my touchpad, since it gets in the way of typing sometimes and it wouldnt turn off when i used to the Touchpad off key. Is there anything that i can do to fix this issue?
Try rebooting your tablet. Happened to me once, too. A reboot fixed it.

i tried that and it didnt work. I finally figured out what was the problem. I accidently turned off com.asus.keyboard process when i was editting my start up programs and disabling certain ones. So once i reenabled it, it worked fine
Thanks for your help though
Hi everyone,
I got a keyboard dock for my transformer pad infinity. I like it a lot. However there is a small issue with it. Sometimes when the tablet wakes up, my dock does not work. Neither the touchpad or the keyboard. However the tablet still shows that the dock is connected. The only way for me to make it work again is to reboot the tablet. Disconnecting and connecting the dock back does not help. This does not happen every time the tablet wakes up, just sometimes and its very random.
Any ideas on what the problem might be. Dock works very well when the tablet is awake.
My old TF700 dock stopped working a while ago. I ordered on eBay manufacturer refurbished dock. Problem is - it's not working as it should.
I tried different ROMs:
On Cromi-X 4.7.0 docking tablet causes it to freeze. Screen and hard buttons are not reacting (unless you do hard reboot). When I remove tab from dock it unfreezes and performs actions which were issued when in dock.
On Cromi-X 5 (latest version) it's not working at all, it is not recognised. It charges pas but there is nothing in notification area and keys are not working. Tablet uses screen keyboard.
Same goes for Crombi.
Anybody have idea what can be wrong?
A few months ago the keys on my Asus TF300T keyboard base stop working. That is, it does not accept any input via the keys on the keyboard. The trackpad still works though, and I can still charge the keyboard base and charge the tablet from the keyboard. I've tried gently lifting and wiggling each of the keys to see if something was perhaps stuck, but without any luck. I've also tried generally mashing the keyboard to see if I could ever get any response from the tablet, but nothing works.
I have the right sort of screwdriver for opening it up - is there any point in doing so? And what would I be looking for?
More generally, *why* would the key input suddenly working? Is this something I'm likely to be able to fix or not?
