hello all here i am new in this forum and i would like to ask and have your help ...

i have search on internet and i think the latest vesrion of rooting a device is 1.5-1.6 or from 2.0-2.2
my android is model of samsung galaxy y GT-B5510 2.3.6 and i am wondering is it worth it to root it back on 2.2 or ... i dont know, you better and also how i can root it cos i believe for each model there is a different way or is preety much the same for all android phones ... ?

Try to root your phone with this app (Framaroot.apk)
Maybe its root you phone....

Have you tried rooting it using CWM? else you can use this tutorial to install it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38337401#post38337401 (do read the ATTENTION section)

I bought nexus 7 2012 from an online shopping site .(Warranty was not there)
It ran good couple of months. Then I got an udate from jelly bean to Kitkat.Unfortunately the update was not sucessful , the device got bricked , after a lot of googling I somehow unbricked the device and installed kitkat manually using some custom tools. After that ,the device worked for couple of weeks then suddely it doesnt respond to touch .
I tried all I could like reconnecting the display ribbon cables ,went to a repairing shop but no use .
Dont know what to do , need your help guys ... please
