I am trying to unroot my gear 2 but am not sure where to find the original firmware file. does anyone know where I can find it?

Try www.samfirmware.com and go to the Firmware Database section.

I tried there but nothing is listed for us or north america

North America got updated to NE5 you can flash any variant of NE5 and you will be okay. I chose UK version

http://theunlockr.com/2013/11/28/unroot-galaxy-gear-video/
Links to firmwares included
The instructions are for a gear but it's the same on gear 2. The only difference is at the firmware site run a search for SM-R380 instead of the one it links you to. Use the BTU version

JB 4.1.2 for P6210 in Hungary

Does anybody know anything about PDA:ME2 / CSC: ME1 (XEH) rom for P6210 in hungarian region?
It released in KIES couple of days ago, but I can't find it on Samfirmware.
An hungarian expert advised for me DON'T upgrade my device via KIES if I have CWM and my Tab is rooted.
He suggested to me to wait for an Odin version for this rom.
Does anybody can help?

There is no such ROM release in KIES. When it does arrive for Hungary, it should be XXMF1. It's possible you may be able to install the P6210XXMF1 ROM for Russia on your device via ODIN, but I am in the US so I cannot say if this will work or not. What is your current OEM ROM? There isn't a seprate path for Hungary.
I think you're wrong.
This is the firmware in KIES:
And this shows there are seperate roms for Hungary on Samfirmware:
2nd photo is about p3100 model (gt2 7.0)...
in sammobile there is not any hungary release

What is the first item in the list?
Hungary (T-Mobile)
I see this is for P3100, but this confirms that there are firmwares for Hungary on samfirmware.
And this picture confirms too:

P3100 is a completely different device from the P6210, not even using the same CPU If you could manage to load that software, your device would be bricked.

Yes, I know! And what?
Who said I want to flash this firmware onto my device?
I just illustrated your false statement about there is no firmware for Hungary on samfirmware with these pictures.

Can you read and do you actually understand you are writing questions in the P6200 / P6210 forum?
Who on this list cares what software is available for the Sammy P3100 or any other device other than the P6200 / P6210 that this forum is all about.
God Love you people that come here looking for help then attempt to argue with those that try.

Pardon?
I think you don't understand me.
Didn't you write this untrue sentences?
"There is no such ROM release in KIES."
"There isn't a seprate path for Hungary."
I've upgraded my device via KIES today morning.
And I showed you there are separate path for Hungary.
That's all.

Just did a bad flash and was going to Odin back to stock, and lookie do, what do I find in the General forum.
If it's carrier branded, so be it, I'll survive that...

I also had an issue with flashing it. After flashing the firmware, flash the pit and you will be ready. Just wipe data after that

I'm downloading the Netherlands version (I presume you used the German one) and try without the .pit and wipe, if it doesn't work - then shall I apply the .pit.
Do these carrier branded firmwares include lots of bloatware?
Edit: Flashing right now, and uploading the Netherlands to MEGA.

TNL has a fair bit of bloatware, but nearly all can be deleted. About 7-9, I believe. The My T-mobile app and Travel&Surf app are not relevant to the actual network functions (they're Dutch-only account apps) and can be safely deleted.
Should be a few other Dutch junk apps as well, such as scoupy and HRS hotels. If you find an app but you're not sure what it is, I can probably tell you. (And if not, I can ask the dev team.)
Oh, it does have a very annoying startup jingle. Mind the volume if you reboot at night

Need a PIT file please for flashing the german version. I have a Italien Note 3.

Can you please confirm if this is a no-wipe and did you need a pit file as well? I have BOB6, but Wi-Fi takes like 30 seconds just to turn on and it's driving me crazy I don't want to go back to defaults right now. Thank you.

TNL is build from PHN, which is the same size as BTU. You shouldn't need a pitfile if you're on an Unbranded western EU rom.
It's non-wipe.

Yes, I am on Poland unbranded BOB6 right now. Flashing TNL...

So seems like Unbranded to Branded is a no go. Flashed back Poland Unbranded BOB6 and phone is now booting.
VoLTE
Does this ROM have VoLTE, like the previous version (OC3)? BOB6 doesn't, and some say Samsung opted to enable VoLTE only for some countries (for which OC3 was created).
what is the exact changelog?

There are no changelogs unless it is OTA and there is little information provided.
Can someone upload the modem?

I said Unbranded Western EU ROM. XEO always has size issues with western ROMS, particularly DBT/BTU/PHN/XEF (which are basically all the same).

My phone's default is DBT (Germany), then flashed with the Unbranded 5.0 Poland as even to this date there is no released DBT 5.0 firmware. Anyway, no harm was done.
I am on Poland unbranded BOB6 5.0 right now.
If I intend to flash this directly with the PIT file, will I lose all my files?
Which PIT file should i use to upgrade from the Polish BOB6 to this? I've tried both PITs mentioned on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/general/finally-official-5-0-firmware-galaxy-t3029557 (page 114) to no avail.
What's new in this build? Anybody see visible changing? For example better working promixity sescor?

Separate "Mute" and "Do not disturb" mode. In mute, alarms still work and in do not disturb, even alarms are muted. Notable feature.

Your unbranded firmware is Nordic Countries (NEE).
Sammobile is another site to download from.

Should work, but IDK if turkish language is included. And if you want to keep your data, make sure to use Home_CSC file in CSC section of Odin.
BTW you can check and download Samsung firmware files with Frija.
