[INFO] Power Consumption & Battery Saving - Samsung Galaxy Core

Power Consumption & Battery Saving
Most android users must be very curious to know about the power consumption parameters of their Android phone.
How much Power does each component or a Android service consumes ??
This Guide provides full power consumption distributed and well explained...
This might allow you to save some precious minutes of your Android Smartphone Battery.
DISPLAY: Average - 370mW.
Full white background, 1% brightness - 450mW.
Full white background, 100% brightness - 960mW.
So roughly every percentage of brightness increased accounts to additional 5.2mW.
NOTE :- Now we know why using dark wallpapers and reducing brightness is so important than undervolting.
Virtual Hardware Keys - 40mW
Led lamp next to camera - 1.3W
Camera - 700mW
Bluetooth - 110 to 180mW
GPS - 110 to 180mW
2G to 3G switching - 800mW for 8 seconds. (This is no h/w component, but we should know)
CPU -
1.2 Ghz full load, 100% brightness - 3.8W+
1.2 Ghz average - 3.2W
Deep Sleep - 200mW during suspend state opposed & at deep sleep 8mW without BLN.
Wifi download - 1.51W
2G download - 1.598W
2G upload - 853mW
3G download - 1.603W
3G upload - 2.136W (Stay away from uploading your videos to youtube via 3G)

Problem-dimming when CPU load and temp more/Please developers, need to create an app

Hello,
Please can someone write a new application ?
Can with Donate Button and profit on it
Problem annoy many users smartphones Samsung - Galaxy S4 , Note 3, Galaxy Mega and more.
Upon heating cpu above about 50 degrees Celsius (it's showing up mainly when playing demanding 3D games), the brightness is from 100 percent to 50 percent .This is protect against overheating. I need application to prevent the dimming.
if I should this say otherwise
It happens under load for example when playing demanding 3D game.
These are:
in Settings / My Device / Display / Brightness /
the message under luminance regulator :
"to avoid overheating maximum brightness has been reduced"
If there is a dimming (to avoid overheating maximum brightness has been reduced) ,change is not on seekbar. Seekbar is still at on maximum value, but the real value brightness is around 50 percent. If I begin to move with seekbar from maximum to 50 percent , brightness is still 50.
(It reacts to the temperature when reaching around 60 degrees Celsius and begin "to Avoid overheating maximum brightness has been Reduced." When you turn off the game and subsequently cooled to about 50 degrees maximum brightness again)
I have a log from my Galaxy Mega (i9205, android 4.2.2) (created in CatLog-Logcat Reader application).
Log has two parts (screenshot):
part one "part one.jpg":
Time: 20:43:13.972 (log number is 6727) - in this time start dimming.
part two "part two.jpg":
time: 20:43:43:964 (log number is 7159) - In this time maximum brightness again
I also attaching a complete log "log.txt" from my Galaxy Mega That can be opened for example in the "mLogcat_1_2_2_0"
Hopefully this log will help find the source of the problem with dimming and will go switch off or adjust or delete this protective function.
A lot of people will be very grateful if it will go to solve.

#################################################
Wake lock Activities:
You can easily find out yourself, which app or hardware is consuming a lot of memory and power.
1 Kernel Wake locks,
2 Partial Wake lock,
3 CPU States
Kernel wake locks: These are low level/hardware wake locks from the kernel. We can only reduce these by modifying the kernel or reducing the usage of a certain feature of the kernel. By researching these we can improve the battery consumption and performance of the Kernel.
Partial wake locks: These are wake locks from apps. These can be reduced by uninstalling or disabling features in software. We can talk about those here too, though it shouldn't be the focus as the answer will be "Uninstall/Disable feature X and talk to the app author". Preferably we should talk about partial wake locks from Google services like maps and latitude.
CPU: The numbers reflect the percentage of the time since the last screen update that the CPU spent in each state. The output for this line requires past history, and it is not shown on the first display that is produced.
Other Weak locks: It is important you find out where your major battery consumption is, Deep Sleep, Awake, Screen On, and Wi-Fi on, Wi-Fi running, Data Connection, or Screen Dark.
Process: You can find out which application consumes the most Battery juice. This is a collection of interrelated work tasks and an initiated response to an event that achieves a specific result for the user of the process.
Networks: This will help you to figure out what is happening on your network connection, what the battery power consumption is, the interval etc...
Others depend on the usage of the application and etc...
#################################################
Battery Wipe
This will wipe battery stats data and allow android OS; it will also regenerate the new battery data file
#################################################
Calibrators: You should use this when you think that your battery is acting weird and performing poorly. Here is how to use Battery Calibration:
1) Charge your device until the battery reaches 100%.
2) Click 'Calibrate!' button.
3) Your battery will be calibrated; you can check the battery performance.
We request you drain the battery for next 3 days after you decide to calibrate your device, 100% - 0% battery. When the third day is up charge your device 0% to 100%. Once you complete the process your battery will be calibrated 100% you will feel the improved battery.
#################################################
Advance Battery Cleaner:
This will kill all the running applications and unwanted processes required. This is how your battery will be saved 2+ times in general.
The battery cleaner will start in Boot-up and start working in the background to save the power.
You can also setup an auto cleaning leave: Safe, aggressive and crazy
You can also setup a security leave to: High, Medium & Low.

I send u an email
Application published in Google playstore...
Up
Finally Play store link is up..
Please try the application and give a feedback...
woooow, what are you doing with the system tweak dude? in order to save more juice, i tweak my CPU Max Freq UV to 960 MHZ and doin some tweaks on the CPU Gov. Of course by doing this i sacrifice the performance. But then i installed your system tweaks and then boom! all of the scrolling home screen performance become very fast? this including the three navigation bar delay-in-pressing and application opening also now become fast.
I corious, then i open my cpu governor ...maybe you enter an init.d script on it to change the value, but i see there the value is still the same with my "battery saving mode". then i open the animation and scrolling speed, also still the same setting.
is this tweak really increase performance without sacrifice more battery?
Thanks
I will compare with DU battery. ^^
All the CPU/kernel/system tweaks are available only in the pro version. Can't you make them available in the free version even for a while to test?
Nice music but app crashes. Do you need root?

iBestWin 10,000mAh (10A) Battery , AccuBattery &the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 n910f - RRm
Hello, Several days ago I purchased (courtesy of Amazon) an extended battery for the N910f & as many have mentioned knowing when to charge the Battery isn't easy for the casual user
(I'm more experienced than the average , have a fairly good knowledge of electrics - I'm mm electrician by trade - & computers / tech etc , but far from an expert compared to many on XDA)
Via the playstore I eventually (tried many) found this app called AccuBattery (Accubattery.zendesk.com) Which allows for the manual implementation of your batteries Basic specs
Here is a link to their manual :
https://accubattery.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/210226065-Tab-1-charging-screen
Encompassing this I have disabled my battery icon & enabled the notification from the app to provide my battery reading & after several calibrations it appears to be reading accurately
I've accumulated serval screenshots for others to analyse ; being a forum all commentary is welcome
I'm easily able to get more than the 18hrs specified using it with my hot spot (for the note 3) , 4G / LTE , bright screen , Nightmare Cpu &Simple OnDemand governers (just straight performance) although I have underclocked the CPU as i have all 4 cores on (This works best for me less processing power but all cores working - very very smooth)
AccuBattery calculates the per app battery usage a bit differently than Android and many other apps (which can only accurately determine the phone's total battery consumption and then uses fixed profiles to estimate the distribution to each app). Instead, we have opted to calculate the phone's realized total battery drain whenever an app is in the foreground and assign all of it to that foreground app.
A benefit of this is that some apps have related background services running that the Android usage screen doesn't capture while we do. However, with our foreground method, we'll also capture background processes from other apps and end up assigning this to your foreground app (For example if you turn on an overlay and then stare at the clock app for an hour then all of that gets assigned to the clock app). We think it's a reasonable assumption though as the majority of the battery drain comes from the screen and many of the unrelated background services run regardless of which app is in the foreground. Furthermore, when the screen is off the background services don't get added up to the foreground app usage as nothing is considered to be in the foreground when the screen is turned off.
The average battery usage section shows you how we calculate our time remaining estimates and is based on the last 7 days of usage.
The fully battery time estimates give you an indication of expected performance on a 100% charge and might be a bit different to some other apps. You can read more about our time remaining estimates here: https://accubattery.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/211277789
