[Q] MAXX HD bootloop after font installer - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After rooting and tried to unlock the bootloader of Motorola MAXX-HD (No unlock code possible for this device by Motorola) failed. The phone was started through command "fastboot continue" through PC. Tried to install new font thro FONT INSTALLER during rebooting it is stuck with boot loop and still stuck.
1. Is there any possibility of restoring the bootloader after this failed unlock mode.??(MAXX HD)
2. How to comeout of this boot loop after font install with new font.???

[Q] AP Fastboot Flash Mode (s) -version droid razr HD

I've rooted, and unbricked so many devices, but I'm having problems with this one. I successfully rooted the device, but when I tried to Flash 4.2.2, but it didn't work properly. Right now, I can get into the Android system recovery, but the screen the phone normally boots to says the below.
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (s)
10.9B(*) (sha-1e9f557, 2013-02-14 09:13:08)
eMMC Info: Size 16GB
Device is Locked. Status Code:0
Battary Ok
Transfer Mode:
USB Connected
Fastboot Reason: Flash Failure
usb connected
usb disconnected
isb connected
for the below steps, I used the apply updaye from external storage option on Android system recovery.
When I try to flash Blur_Version.6.16.211.XT912.Verizon.en.US.zip, it Says Installation aborted after verifying update package. The same thing happens when I try to flash Slim-xt926-4.2.2.build.5.6-UNOFFICIAL-20130521-0436.zip
when I try flashing Blur_Version.6.16.211.XT912.Verizon.en.US.zip, it says assert failed: file_getprop("/system/build.prop". "ro.build.fingerprint") == "motorola/XT926_verizon/vanquish:4.1.1/9.8.1Q_39/41:user/release-keys" || file_getprop("/system/build.prop". "ro.build.fingerprint") == "motorola/XT926_verizon/vanquish:4.1.1/9.8.1Q-62_VQW_MR-2/6:user/release-keys"
So I can boot into the Android system rocovery, and boot mode selection menu(10.98)
on the boot mode selection menu, the only option that doesnt make my phone go into AP Fastboot Flash Mode, is the recovery option, and when I go into the recovery option, I get the android with the Exclamation mark, from there is how I get to the android system recovery.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I am assuming it will involve ADB, but I cannot do any ADB commands, because my device is not found when I do ADB remount, or ADB devices
You have to unlock your bootloader and install clockwork mod to install custom roms.

Tried to install clockwork mod via Rom Manager, but it was it wasn't available for the droid hd. I had the phone rooted, and had safestrap installed. and I can't unlock the device on the motorola site anymore, because I can't get my phone to boot properly.
Well that's not how to do any of that. Definitely not safestrap. Pretty sure there's a utility in the development section that will do it all for you. I'd tell you the fastboot ways but it's probably over your head.

I've tried the droid razr utility, and that didn't work for me either. Kept getting errors. I'll see what I can do with this toolkit, and let you know how it goes.

I cannot install CWM it says invalid image size for partition recovery. and it still says the device is locked, after I unlocked it.
Are you sure it says status code unlocked? Are you rooted?
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
it says fastboot oem unlock punlock code]
OKAY [.023s]
finished. total time : .026s
*BOOTLOADER UNLOCK*
press any key to continue.
That's what it says after I enter in the unlock code I got from Generating unlock code OEM. I got a really long string of characters for the unlock code, and there are 4 parts seperated by '#' so I tried each part as the code, because I have never done this before, and when I did the whole string, it was a max of 64 characters, so that's why I started trying it by parts seperated by the '#'. and Yes it is rooted, because when I tried to do the root option, it said it was already rooted.
Unlocking your bootloader has nothing to do with entering numbers on your phone. And to check if your unlocked just go to the fastboot screen and see what status code it gives you.
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
the status code is 0. What option am I supposed to be using? the drivers are up to date, Still can't install recovery, I have root access, didn't touch the install modem (radio).
Does it say device unlocked? Status code 0 is usually locked. 3 Is unlocked.

No, it's still locked, and I don't know how to unlock it from this screen.
You just run the unlock bootloader procedure.

That's what I did. I did option 2, for unlock bootloader, than I get 1. reboot fastboot 2. Generate unlock code OEM 3. login to website to continue with unlocking 4. Unlock using unlock code I did option 2, and got the unlock code, than did option 4, and used the unlock code it generated.

followed the instructions on that site, and it said "your device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking."
You can't do it online. You have to do it with the 3rd party tool.

SO What did I do wrong? I generated the unlock OEM code, than I selected the Option to Unlock using unlock code. when I did the generate unlock OEM code, it gave me a long numer like the one on that site, but when I use that number as the unlock code, it says it's to long, and it can be at max 64 characters.
Once again there's no numbers involved man. Your trying to do the official unlock. Use the link I just posted.

Forgotten lock pattern

Hi,
My daughter has changed the lock pattern on her Z5 and then subsequently forgotten the lock pattern. She now cannot get into her phone.
The phone also doesn't give an option to enter a google account to unlock it.
I'm used to my nexus, so as a last resort, wiping the phone is pretty easy.
I've learned that Sony does not provide an installed recovery partition so wiping the phone is not easy.
I've tried booting a recovery via fastboot to wipe the phone which did not work.
I've tried unlocking the bootloader to then boot a recovery by:
- getting unlock code from sony
- putting phone into fastboot
- installing drivers and minimal adb fastboot
- running the following command: fastboot -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xUNLOCKCODEHERE
I get this error: FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
I've tried using flashtool (both official and unofficial). The official tool from sony says your phone is locked. The other flashtool gives me the same error as fastboot does (I assume it is running the same command).
What options do i have to either unlock the phone or wipe it?
Thanks
James
If I read the user manual correctly you can remove the lock pattern by repairing the phone with Xperia Companion.
If you forget your screen unlock password, PIN or pattern, you can use the device repair feature in Xperia™ Companion to erase the security layer. You need to provide your Google account login details to perform this operation. By running the repair feature, you reinstall software for your device and you may lose some personal data in the process.

As last resort you could reflash the ftf (firmware) u are using. Or just wipe data.
But dont forget to back up ! ?

My phone keeps on booting to fastboot

Hi all. Need urgent help here. I tried flashing my phone following everything on one post i found for flashing(androidbiits[dot]com/root-oppo-realme-5-rmx1911-easily/). But something went wrong(I don't know what went wrong, I just followed everything step by step). My phone suddenly keeps on booting to fastboot mode. I tried entering recovery mode but it boots to fastboot mode instead. Need help
PS. I tried to reflash my phone with rmx1911 stock rom. But I noticed my device state is locked. I can't somehow unlock it with fastboot(fastboot flashing unlock). A bootloader unlock prompt appears on my phone and when I choose to unlock the bootloader, my phone just reboots back to fastboot mode with the device state still locked
Use msm tool and ofp file for realme 5 ..you have to flash whole rom again..and it can be flashed in phone state locked too
Give the following commands :
$ fastboot flashing unlock
Then flash TWRP
Then flash stock ROM by renaming .ozip to .zip via TWRP.

How to Remove Warning Bootloader Unlocked Message

Recently rooted my new Zenfone 7. Is it possible to remove Bootloader unlocked Warning message at the start up of the system? Thanks for an answer.
re-lock the bootloader
Boot into fastboot, then send this command from your pc.
fastboot oem asus-lock
how did you get root to work? I followed the instructions listed and it would not work for me.
I followed the instructions there: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-official-twrp-for-asus-zenfone-7-series.4161719/ in fastboot mode you should update android drivers manually through device manager to get it work otherwise you'll get " waiting on device " error and it won't flash TWRP.
Is it possible to remove Bootloader unlocked warning without re-locking device though?

Getting TWRP on and working was fine. It was when I went and tried to flash Magisk that it kept causing a bootloop.

Why? Unless you plan on overwriting TWRP, there is no benefit to having it unlocked all the time. TWRP will still work after it is re-locked. and you can unlock it again via the app anytime you need to update.

Unable to unlock the bootloader

I've recently bricked my device trying to install LineageOS, long story short I had to use MSM Tool in order to flash a new, stock ROM. Since I did that I am unable to unlock the bootloader: everytime I do the phone bricks with this following Yellow message on the screen: "upgrade download failed please check your download flow is right". After that I have to use the MSM Tool again to unbrick the Yellow text.
Any ideata how I might unlock the bootloader? Aside from that, the phone works fine.
EDIT: I managed to fix this by OEM updating my device to Android 11 and *then* unlocking the bootloader. Another issue has arisen now, though: whenever I try to boot TWRP from fastboot, the phone reboots and gets stuck in the "Fastboot Mode" OnePlus logo screen. Would anyone know how to fix this, or maybe is there a way to root your phone without using a custom recovery?

Yes you can ,,install thru boot loader with ADB and fastboot CMD. First you need to extract the boot.img from your oos rom, patch it in magisk app, then put it in your adb folder and run the cmd " fastboot flash boot boot.img .
