Hi,
I flashed my samsung vibrant(SGH-T959 - T-Mobile device) with Resurrection Rom(v 5.1.1). I have sound issues with this ROM, everything else is fine. The problem is, the sound output is reverse, if i dont plug-in handsfree, then sound is not there, however if i plug in the handsfree, the audio output for songs and videos is like on speaker.
Please help me how to fix this.

You should contact the developer of the rom and discuss about the bugs and ask him to resolve them. If you still do not feel comfortable using the custom rom, flash the stock rom.

Hi everybody. I'm new to android. Recently i fleshed the ROM This is what i have now: Simply Honey 3.2 by SGT
Ever since the new ROM my headset isn't working. I can hear the noise when i move the plug in n out but no sound.
Other thing i cannot turn my Bluetooth on either. It says turning on but after a while it goes back to it's original state.
Any help would b greatly appreciated.
i would say try a new rom, it may be a bug in the bluetooth. Or if its a wired headset it may just be the phone. In short, flash a new rom and report back.
The phone is good. Tried 2 diff headset. B4 this ROM both was working perfectly. I believe it's a known bug and there is a fixing in Settings but i cannot find where it is.
Hi everybody,
I am using ICS 4.0.4 IceCreamTosti AOPK28_29 with a Dorimanx kernel. When I make (SIP) phonecalls with my earphones and unplug them during the call, the sound system seems to crash. I won't get any sound in any applications, not with the earphones nor the speakers, until I reboot the phone (HTC HD2)
I have no idea if this is version related (I tried 4.0.3 and 4.0.4), kernel related (I tried AOPK standard kernel, Dorimanx kernel) or application related (CSipSimple).
It is possible to unplug the earphones while the YouTube app is running without problems. However, the video will stop playing and I have to hit the play button again. So maybe apps lose some sound descriptors or whatever, when unplugged?
I cannot pose the question in the ICT AOPK thread as I have a new account here.
Maybe someone can help here.
Thanks
This sounds like something to do with your phone . You might want to contact the developer of the rom about it and it might be a bug . I think it's your phone issue or either the ROM issue .
Hello everyone!
I have been on XDA for a while just never made an account, if you are reading this Thank-you for reading.
Recently I switched from CM10.2 to the newest HyperDrive.
I like it for somethings over others. What are you opinion on the best ROM for SGHi747?
(back to the question)
Since the install I have noticed a few things I need info on.
Bluetooth calling will not work right when headphone jack has an AUX cable in at the same time. For example hands free in a car and your phone was plugged in for music there is nothing on my end until I unplug it then the call is back over the car stereo. It is as if the ROM may need a fix for this? I can not find any setting for this; nor had this issue on any other ROM.
S4 theme (from what I read) is not avaliable on this version?
Is there anyway to remove the MegaBass that I installed during flash; without re-flashing?
Is it just me, or does my phone not make any sound when battery is low???
Anything I am missing?
Sorry for the list but I just can not seem to find it as easy to maintain or customize like Cyanogenmod. Any answers would be great, hopefully it is not too much and someone has had these issues and resolved them.
Thanks again!

Update: this isn't a Bluetooth issue. When you have an aux cable plugged in speaker phone will not work either. Is there a fix for this...? I could make a tasker profile but it seems silly to have to do that when the OS should handle it.
Hello everybody!
I have tried to port some ROMs for my phone (Redmi Pro) but even if the ROMs are booting there are still some bugs. One of them is that whenever I plug my headphones the sound comes out of the speaker and the headphones at the same time. I thought it would be easy to fix as the headphones are working so I would only need a configuration that muted the speaker whenever the headphones are pluged but even if I tried a lot of things I did not find a solution, and that is why I am asking this here.
I have the same bug in different ROMs ported from different devices. I would also like to remark that I have reached this state by leaving all the audio files of the original ROMs.
If you have any idea, even if you are not sure if i will help, please reply, I will be glad to try any suggestion.
Thanks in advance
Hi
I have a bluetooth speaker wich I can not make it the sound arrive. My Mi4 is running LineageOs (7.1.2), it connects successfully to the speaker, but the sound does not play...
The icon of the bluetooth is different from the "normal" one and when I see the notifications space, appears the player (in this case Spotify) as it was casting to the player, but again, no sound. When I disconnect the bluetooth, the speaker makes a sound (blink), telling that it's disconnected.
I have read about this problem elsewere, so I think it's not just me who have it.
Any ideas or help would be very appreciated.
Kind regards.
Hi.
After some time, I found out that this is a common problem in custom roms based on aosp android. It's widelly commented in the lineage forums. No solution right now.
