[THEME] NexTHEME & NexTANG For CM6 Final UPDATED! [09-07-10]

There wasn't/ aren't alot of themes to choose from for CM6 so I decided to do a quick port of NexTheme & NexTANG created by [manup456] all credit goes straight to him as I just ported. If you like the theme give the thanks to him for a great theme he has provided.
Note: Do a Nandroid Backup first. I will not be responsible for any issues that this theme creates, if any as this is just a port. So flash at your own risk!
Installation:
Using Amon Recovery 1.7.0.1?
Put on root of SD Card reboot to recovery and flash as a regular update.
Using Rom Manager with Clockworkmod Recovery?
Put on root of SD Card
Run Rom Manager
Select "Install Rom from SD Card"
Browse for and select "NexTheme 2.2 CM6"
Make sure you do not select any options at the Rom Pre-Installation prompt!
Click ok, then ok to reboot!
After you boot to the OS Make sure you change all the Statusbar Text colors to white under "Menu\Settings\CyanogenMod Settings\Notification Colors." The Only one you want to leave the text black is the one that says "Clear notification label color." Then reboot again for changes to come into effect!

For those of you who want to revert to the stock font:
Download Stock Font and flash in recovery. Thanks to "kaotikking" for providing the font.

Uploaded the stock facebook 1.3.2 apk for those who flashed my themes before I removed them and want to revert back to stock.
Changed the calendar widget text to white on both themes

Update : I installed this theme on my Nexus One running on CM6 RC3. It works fabulously well This is a gorgeous theme. The only changes I made apart from what had been mentioned by the OP were the operator colors. I set them to white so that the operator name is visible on a black background.

me too...i think i bricked my phone...it opens at first but fc's on most of the applications...i followed the op's instructions but now it woot boot up..just constant boot animation...
im on RC3...pls help,,,

This method of updating uses an advanced injection method compatible with all ROMs and versions. Just wipe Dalvik Cache and flash ZIP file with CWMR.

Thanks to Matius44 and all the others who helped to figure out proper ICS nAndroid restore method, I decided to resume playing around with flashable theme patching.
While work on porting True-Blue-ICS [Framework MOD][Update 2.27.12]All ICS ROMS from demo23019 for our Galaxy Note xHDPI resolution, I thought I would release this teaser to see what can be done with "vrtheme" patching.
This method of patching is similar to metamorph, and allows you to change out only select PNG files INSIDE your CURRENT APK files on your device. That means these patches will work IN CONJUCTION with tremerone's XTREMER Animations or Matius44's Recent Apps Mod or even any of m3dd0g's Themes, etc. etc. It also means that this theme will work with all ICS ROMs, given that PNG file names align correctly.

i kept seeing ICS rom compatible but you mentioned Stunner in particular whom is AOKP.
If i am not wrong, this is especially catered for AOKP and will not work in CM9's variation example Cyanofree, right?

I'm pretty sure "picture_unknown.png" is the same on all ROMs system\app\Phone.apk\res\drawable-xhdpi. So the little Ice Cream Sandwich Andy would be waving at you on any ROM.
In fact, this method of PNG injection was developed to work across hardware platforms and not just ROMs.

Help Requested for .9.PNG Files
Updated OP with new MOD for True Blue ICS, a work in progress.
Please note that I require some help with the resolution conversion of several .9.PNG files attached. (THIS IS NOT A FLASHABLE ZIP)
In order to complete the True_Blue_ICS_Note theme, there are several .9.PNG files that need to be resized to the correct xHDPI resolution. Attached are the HDPI files that need resized to XHDPI and .9 chunk patched. I would rather have someone try to explain it to me rather than do it for me. Teach a man to fish and all that

rename the existing bootanimatiom to bootanimation.bak or delete it
rename the new bootamimation to bootanimation.zip

This TWRP theme is a port of TWRP Materialised theme by @z31s1g. All credits go to him for the countless hours of hardwork put in this theme. Make sure you thank him over at his thread (here).

use samsung type nav bar (back button on right)(easier, since I got used to it on Pico)

remove "select storage" option (we has only one storage sdcard)
fix fileselector_install_height (dependancy of remove "select storage" option)
add resized fallback fonts
all variables in ui.xml resized accordingly ((ORIG_W: 800, PORT_W: 320; ORIG_H: 1280, PORT_H: 480) (width: (int(($value / $ORIG_W * $PORT_W ) + 0.5))) && (height: (int(($value / $ORIG_H * $PORT_H) + 0.5)))) (it's 7th grade math)
resized all images (a very mild difference would be seen among images (img size ratio of 0.625 resized to 0.667 (diff: 0.042)))
Availability and Compatibility
Supported TWRP versions: 280X (awesom3 and TWRP)
Supported screen resolutions: 320x480
The theme stays compatible with new versions of TWRP until TWRP changelog says otherwise.
How to install:
Download the theme of your choice and rename it to "ui.zip".
On SD card (if device has internal and external storage, use the internal) open TWRP folder and create a folder called "theme", without capital letters.
Copy ui.zip to theme folder.
Restart to recovery.

@thewisenerd, great job on your scripts for porting. Gonna try it out just because I am curiouson how fast it can port lol. Retrospect to whether or not it works like mine I can say it most likely does not. The two projects are definitely different. I also use GraphicksMagick (GM) compiled for ARM to resize all the images accordingly. That binary is embedded in to the script.
The math I use is pretty simple and accurate. Say the theme is 720x1080 and your device is 480x800 for the sake of this demonstration. Both info is provided to the script as it will ask you for them. Then it will proceed to calculate as such:
An image of 64x130 from 720 to 480:
720÷64=11.25
480÷11.25=42.6666666667 (then round to the nearest integer) 43
1080÷130=8.30769230769
800÷8.30769230769=96.296296296.3 (round to the nearest integer) 96
Giving a successful port of 64x130 to 43x96. This same method is applied towards the ui as well since we know that 'x' is 'width' and 'y' is 'height' and so forth.

The size of the navbar buttons indicates you're using an early version of the theme, since the 2820 theme update they're smaller. Also, what resolution does your device have?

Just update the theme, there are 2860 compatible versions that have the slider placement fixed.

It would be too much to ask for porting to the LDPI do not know how this script, so I can only ask, please.

The only problem with this theme on LDPi is when screen lock is impossible to unlock and is impossible to swipe to confirm action.

Not only look, TWRP 2.8.1.0 has very big list of improvements :
- MTP fixes and improvements - you can now copy zips to the root of storage
- TrueType Font support - optional as it takes up a decent amount of space so may not be available on all devices
- Temperature support
- Various other bugfixes and tweaks

I have installed that custom recovery properly, I changed the material colour and pressed reload them, but now its flashing at the teamwin splash screen, It is bootlooping and can't seem to get into the phone.
Any solution for this? I don't want to mess something up and potentially lose my data.

the problem is with the ui.zip, if I can remove it then it should work right?

Hmm, strange !
Are you sure that you have D802 international version od G2 ?
Have you renamed properly ui.zip - NOT ui.zip.zip ?
Try to download again theme from this link - https://s.basketbuild.com/filedl/devs?dev=z31s1g&dl=z31s1g/1080/TWRP 281X/1080_dark.zip ...

Wow! This looks great especially since I am trying to get my G2 to look as much like lollipop before it is released. I really like the material design! Looks awesome! Thank you for the hard work to get this running.

No, this is only for D802 (G2 international) version ...
You can make for your G2 version, just follow this guide in third post - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2915584

I didn't change the splash screen but got the theme to work. Looks pretty good.

Yes everyone with TWRP recovery and 1920x1080 (fullHD resolution) can use this themes, but only users of D802 can flash this image with custom curtain ...

No no, image is for that if you have D802 ...
Theme is just rename, copy-paste process

yup..i know...i mean the theme..how to apply it? i got the 802 model and i alrady installed the recovey...and also crated the folder theme and rename it..but no clue how to apply...

Just download theme and paste it with name ui.zip to TWRP/theme folder
That is all - after that just go to recovery.
