There's a star wars bootanimation that looks really awesome, but unfortunately it says Droid instead of nexus or desire. But with the help of someone talented at photoshop it could look awesome.

This is the first time I've seen the miui boot animation and I actually like it a lot!
What do I have to do? Just flash it?

i was working on modifying the miui stock boot animation to theme it like miuimod but it was kinda looking bad so i stopped plus i couldnt get it to zip right so i could see it on my phone. im new to it.

for nexus one just get a rooted file explorer and got to system/media then there is a bootanimation.zip copy it out of there and paste it some where safe then paste new bootanimation.zip in to folder then on reboot it will have new animation

this is just what i was already working one. the second image is when i stopped and was like idk if i like this lol but i know the first one i like but i cant get it to zip right i think.

I'm using cm6 and when I try to copy the new boot animation to the system/media it tells me the folder is read only.

i used 7zip to make a store zip and it still didnt work my bootanimation is only 2.1mb

what file browser you using?

i think this is the adb commands

I've tried a few file managers and none of them seem to work; the stock file manager, Linda, Astro.

hey rod i have a stupid question. why cant the boot animation be bigger than 2,6mb because the r2d2 boot animation is like 15mb

1. Go to the Kitchen page : http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
2. Go to Battery:
chose model then press Generate preview
3. Go to the file upload section :
-select type galaxy from flashable zip scripting
-select mdpi (320x480) / ldpi (240x320) from ThemeChooser preview
-select Upload system files for Select your rom from kitchen's list, or upload your own files
-upload :* framework-res.apk from "/system/framework"
* SystemUI.apk from "/system/app"
* twframework-res.apk from "/system/framework"
-others as default
4. Go to the summary section. :All chosen mods must have a green background. If there is a mod in red background it means you didn’t finish it.
Press Submit work to kitchen
5. Remember the UOT file name (your order number) .
6. Go to the Pickup page " http://uot.dakra.lt/pickup/ " and wait for your file to appear (it can take from 5min to 1hr or more)
7. Download UOT zip into SD card of your phone
8. Reboot into recovery
9. Flash UOT zip

any one tryed to change the status bar with kitchen?

-select system/media/ (galaxy S/GB ROM) if you use custom room
or system/media/(cyanogen rom) if you use cm

Font packs and boot animation do not require files to be uploaded. If you choose only those mods then you get a download without a queue.

I still have a Nexus One, and yes, I still love it. I love it so much, I made a boot animation specifically for it.
The animation was inspired by the Nexus One commercial created by Google (love the music). It also took me half a day just to get it to work, but anyway here it is. This is the first time I’ve ever done a boot animation, so comment and give feedback so I can improve on it! Please do not distribute this boot animations.

Since the Nexus One has a resolution of 480×800, this animation is also in 480×800.

By request of tommert38. I made another version of the NexusMeets Boot Animation with a black background.
The animation is identical, only the background color and the font color was changed.

first u need to be rooted to change bootanimation.
1.download the zip file and rename it to bootanimation.zip
2. using a root file explorer mount /system to rw permission
3. replace the downloaded bootanimation.zip with the original bootanimation.zip from /system/media and /data/local
4.reboot and njoy
ps- remember to backup the original bootanimation.zip to be safer

Download it, extract the contents, resize images in the folders to 320x480 and replace 480 800 in the desc.txt with 320 480. Zip up everything (no compression) and voilà!

go to system then media and copy ur orignal bootanimation .than copy new boot animation and set permession. now reboot ur fone,done :good: :good: if u feel any prob just change new boot to ur orignal bootanimation
