Dao Thanh Duy ( @daothanhduy1996 ), first and foremost for his contributions to the NILTMT kernel, providing his device and kernel source trees and for having done such a good job that I had almost no problems compiling cm-11.0 with them. His help has also been essential to figuring out issues on IRC. This ROM would not have been possible without him
The Cyanogenmod team and everyone who has contributed to the project. I merely ported their ROM, they receive all your thanks.
Brian ( @sunsurfer42 ) for this extremely generous donation of TWO dev phones in addition to 2 extra batteries. He even refused when I offered to pay for shipping. This ROM would not be available to you guys without him.
Rick ( @GFX.myst. ) for providing the awesome graphics for our team and this thread! He even made us a new CM11 Unofficial logo
David LaMontagne ( @DJLamontagneIII ) for his awesome kernel source
@JustArchi for his optimizations and his Linaro repositories which were used in the making of this ROM
@Beastmode for the source code he left with us. At one point he was the only active developer for this phone. I still miss seeing his contributions (Proton Kernel anyone?)
@bhundven , @jeffsf , @m4xm4n , @AntonX , and @RaverX3X for all the time and effort they put into this phone. We're still using their source code to this day
Features:
Missing non-essential apps such as wallpapers to free up space in the /system partition
Android KitKat 4.4.4 built from source with the latest updates
Compiled with Linaro 4.7 using -O2 optimizations on both the THUMB and ARM targets. This means that most of the ROM, not just the kernel, receive these optimizations
Debloated, removed a bunch of wallpapers, the NFC, Torch and Video Editor apps
Issues:
All of the Aries bugs still plaguing this phone, including:
Charging animation broken
No smooth HD video recording
TV out not tested
Won't make your phone have a quad core processor
If you're still on Gingerbread or older, follow lumin's guide here. You need CWM 5 with the blue text:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21953878&postcount=2
Once you have blue CWM5, just flash the ROM. It will automatically continue flashing using TWRP once your phone restarts. After the flash is done the phone will continue to boot into CM11, no need for a 2nd flash.
If you're already on any ROM newer than ICS, just follow the instructions below.
Download the ROM and optionally gapps and put them on your SD Card
Make a backup of your current ROM and apps using both Titanium backup and with TWRP/CWM.
Do a factory reset (full wipes for safety)
Flash the ROM and gapps
Wait another 5 minutes after you see your phone boot fully. This will let all the dust settle.
If you are upgrading from an older build of this ROM, you can probably get away with dirty flashing (not doing a factory reset between flashes) but if you run into any issues, do a full phone wipe (wipe system, data and cache) then flash the new version of the ROM.
Team Acid strives to remain compliant to the GPL. We provide the full sources to our ROMs here:

To build CM11 follow the official Cyanogenmod guide for the vibrantmtd here:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_vibrantmtd
MAKE SURE YOU REPLACE vibrantmtd FOR galaxys4gmtd WHEN FOLLOWING THE STEPS FOR THE GUIDE
You will also need the local manifests which you can find here:
https://github.com/teamacid/teamacid.github.com/tree/master/manifests/sgh-t959v/CM11-TWRP
To learn how to use a local manifest, check Cyanogenmod's guide here:

If you need help building this ROM please reply on this thread here.
There is no separate Q&A thread. You can ask your questions by replying in this thread.

Thanks, and Bravo.....A beautiful build, working flawlessly for me. This phone is bada** and is all that is needed.
Guys & gals, just keep in mind that even though FB said to keep questions and issues here, we want to keep this thread clean for development purposes. If you come across problems/issues, please remember to list all steps you made to when problem/issue occurred. Logcats are greatly appreciated. They help with the fixing process. Also, if you have questions, please read the thread before asking. Someone may have already asked the question and it may have been answered as well.

Hey FB....you asked to be reminded about maybe rolling out some updated modems for the CM11. Here is your reminder. NO rush, and thanks in advance if you are able to do it.

EDIT: Worked like a charm. Thanks FB.
All works perfect for me so far. I was running Beanstalk and that thread got shut down by the mods so I am glad you are developing for the S 4G. I still use this phone for my gym mp3 player (Wolfson DAC!!!)/wifi device/backup phone. It's nice to see old devices to get some love.

Loaded 4.4.4 on the 23rd right after this thread was created. This is my only phone, use it heavily, and I've had no issues whatsoever so far. Keep up the great work!!!

What is the button press sequence to get a screen capture (screenshot) on this ROM? TIA
---------- Post added at 10:03 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:55 AM ----------
One minor bug to report: When I went into "Settings" then "Display & Lights" then "Advanced Settings" I received a blank screen for a few sec then "Unfortunately, Advanced Settings has stopped." Had to force close "Settings" after that.
For the screen capture go to Settings>Buttons>Power Menu
Thank you for great ROM :good::good:
Yea, this ROM is bada**. It has brought new life to a worn down tired old phone. By far the best ROM that has ever been made for our little SGS4G. Mine had become stagnant as an every day daily, but now with this new life injected into it, I'm going to just keep rolling with it till it actually dies. Thanks Team Acid!!!!

2 things, are you on the latest 0623 version? (I had issues with previous versions) Also, did you flash the new version 5 Play Services? I found that it is a battery killer. I flashed the updated services and then downgraded back to 4.4, and have insane battery life. Not sure what it up with services, but the new version just drains terribly.
If all else fails, do a factory wipe and reflash both the ROM and Gapps and see if it fixes it. Take a look at your Battery Profile and see what is using your juice. (Also install Greenify if you have not already)

It's great to see more ROMS for this device.
But, for the un-initiated like myself, who are on their first Android device and are primarily only used to Sense based ROMS could you please attempt to explain the difference between your ROM [ROM][AUG29] CyanogenMod 7.1 RC1 and this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1199295"][ROM] [CM7] unofficial nightly
Much appreciated.

trismegistos, SuperKid and myself have all been working on CyanogenMod for our Desire S. The "nightly" builds posted by trismegistos are built from the absolutely latest code from CyanogenMod. The nightly system exists mainly for people to test upcoming changes between major CyanogenMod releases (like 7.0 to 7.1), and for supported devices are generated automatically every night.
trismegistos has been posting his own nightly builds of SuperKids ROM, though I believe his plan now is to stop and let me put out updates once a week or so.
Our long term plan is to get the Desire S officially supported by CyanogenMod, then if you want to run a "bleeding edge" build, you can grab the newest every night from them.
Hope this helps =)

exactly
I was using SuperKid's 1.1 ROM, and I flashed the latest nightly ontop of that (without full wipe) and have been using that.
Would you recommend a full wipe before installing this or would it be just as good if I just flashed this over my existing setup?
I been busy making other roms and working on other projects, that i kind of left the cyanogen mod rom.
We started from the beggining with NeoLojik to make this rom and he kept all this time fixing it and improving it, if there is someone that deserves get credit about this rom is him.
So from now on, he will be doing the porting of cyanogen to this device at least the unnoficial ones, we hope we will get official soon.
Anyways, i will be here and help in anything that needed!
any chance to use this with the sense 3 keyboard somehow?
Currently on superkid's CM7 v 1.3.2. I believe it's obsolete now. Will flash this tomorrow.
Hope we get officially supported by the CM team soon..... IDK why they would leave out such a wonderful device.
i can't see a proper changelog and i was wondering what's the difference in this new cyanogenmod compared to the one superkid made? I'm still running superkid's cyanogenmod.
This is great news.
What is the difference between the kernel included in this ROM and the one that Tiamat has developed?
I really hope that this one get official

NOT BAD ?!?!?! It was great, I'm using it right now I meant that it won't be updated, so it's outdated (obsolete was probably a too harsh word). Also, you need to concentrate more on other ROMs so it was a good idea to hand over this project to others.
Wow, this is great news! I was trying to build CM7 from your Github tree, but got some errors unfortunately.
I can confirm the Bluetooth works great, even the last week integration of the full AVRCP 1.3 profile works. I can finally see what song is playing on my carkit
Should the commit from superkid (add Saga support to CM7) be changed to the new github?
Great job guys!!

Afraid not, all the Sense based applications require the HTC frameworks to function and to my knowledge no-one has ever successfully ported those into an AOSP ROM.

Whilst both versions are CyanogenMod, they're based off different "device" sources. SuperKid's original CM7 was based upon my first ever device tree. I scrapped that and started fresh for this one. It's been about a month of work from then 'till now.

The included kernel is based on the same code as the Tiamat one, but lacks any sort of overclocking or Tiamat specific tweaks. It's a fully stock kernel. Feel free to flash Tiamat 1.1.1 onto this ROM, it works fine. I just wanted to ship it with a stock AOSP kernel =)

No HD video in camcorder. I *believe* high is HD. Can't do this myself atm but do a test recording and check the resolution on a PC.
The shutter sound is disabled in the CyanogenMod mainline source because of a bug with audio recording when using the camcorder. I'll chase up the bug and see if it's been fixed.

Adoptable Storage
Continuing on the adoptable storage discussion from cm 12.1 thread:
Now that I really thought about it, this is not a solution for us. Our biggest issue is the small system partition which won't benefit in any way from adoptable storage thus I will stick to maintaining only aceopt device tree and regular ace tree is frozen on cm-12.1.

yeah got that, thanks. But still waiting to post screenshots from my own device. (you know what I mean)
Mobile data fixed with PhantomShadow's patch for 12.0. Now it's mainly just hanging on the camera libs.
Fantastic news, thanks you for all
So impressive this phone is still kicking thanks to Mustaavalkosta, It's still sitting on my desk as my first android phone. Can't wait to try cm13 on it.

really great
thanks very much.
Waitting for the final great news.
Oh my gosh the hype is real :d ... Man you are fantastic!
HTTPS, first build, etc.
HTTPS / SSL
SSL certificates are now renewed across the ODP domains just in case someone faced HSTS block earlier with expired certificates. Let me know if something isn't working with SSL. Let's Encrypt service only just entered open beta after all.
Nightlies
I started nightlies to check that everything is in order in automation side of things. Camera is still broken and since I caught cold last night again and this time it seems to be quite furious cold I'm not sure when I can/will continue to poke the camera with shim library. You can poke around in 6.0 now though and get mad when all the things are broken.
Only opt variant build is available. Regular ace builds are dead for 13.0 as far as I'm concerned. You can read how to convert your stuff to support opt version's changed partition layout here. I'll update FAQs and so forth as soon as I can.
First Nightly Quick Impressions
Didn't expect much on flashing the first nightly, but it's running smoothly.
so far, so good. . Expect for screen flicker glitches which happens randomly on using the phone.

And the flicker will likely get a bit worse when camera libs start working again. They trigger crazy blue flickering during bootup etc. and there's no fix in sight. I have already spent countless hours with 12.1 based builds and this LCD underflow issue. But hey, 6.0 is booting up and is generally running ok apart from the ever-increasing annoyances. I guess that's something even though not a perfect score.

Does this means it is using the new adreno blobs (what about saga, same thing too)? Do gapps/playstore work now? Someone installed games? Does it improve performance? I'll stay on 12.1 for now (it's my daily phone) but will definitely be following the CM13 thread

Yeah, I wouldn't have even released anything for 13.0 without the new adreno blobs because the old ones are already killing WebView on 12.1 and because that issue seems to come from the actual blobs themselves it's pretty much impossible to fix without changing blobs. Going backwards is not really my "thing" so new blobs or gtfo.
And the builds are the same for both devices. This would have been very difficult to manage with different stuff for each device.
I was initially planning to quit this hobby (or probably already a habit at this point) after 12.1 but since it turned out to be possible to utilise the sdcard and work around quite fatal insufficient storage issue here we still are. This has made my goals for the 13.0 a bit fuzzy but I suppose we'll see how much is doable and how much isn't. Problems have gradually got worse and worse as the upstream makes more or less huge changes while we are, for example, still using gingerbread camera blobs and this trend is continuing so let's try to keep out expectations low.

I am also getting an Adroid Keyboard (AOSP) stopped working notice and an Encryption unsuccessful error warning. Pressing Reset phone reboots it into TWRP, which tries to wipe cache and Data and restart, leading to the same error warnings. (20151205 nightly and 20151201 gapps)
Today's build wasn't favorable, it has FCs throughout. quick - Is either you restore back to previous build or old back up.

Clean flashed earlier today and seems to be running great. Haven't found anything that doesn't work yet, camera, video, phone calls, GPS all seem to be working fine. Might be the best first nightly for any CM release on this device.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
So installed Stock Gapps and the 1st nightly. So far so good, though I didn't get any of the stock CM software like messaging and the browser.
The default google camera gave me the typical "camera has failed" error that I got non stop on 12.1. My solution was always going with Open Camera. Never had issues but in a blue moon.
Any clue why?
So if we are on 12.1, do we need to use the nuke it wiper that was mentioned in the unofficial nightlies?

So what exactly is working right and what still needs tweaking? Is this a daily driver at this point?
I'm getting a no SIM error. I tried using the Nuke_it.zip from Invisiblek's unofficial builds thread and it didn't work.

Hmmm... I've had this before but not on the last 4 builds or so. Dirty flashed originally over the 12/10 unofficial, and have been going on - now on 12/14. If you flash from 12.1 it seems you'd have to use the nuke_it.zip. I tried it on the other MM ROM out there without success, too. Started from scratch here, as baaaaaaaaaad as I hate to clean flash.

Yeah, I hate to clean flash, too. It's almost never actually necessary.
However this time it doesn't seem to matter if I clean or dirty flash, or whether I use the nuke_it.zip or not. I've tried the 12/13 and 12/14 builds with no luck. I've not tried any others.
I doubt it's possible, but I wonder if it has to do with either the fact that I've encrypted my storage or if it matters that I'm using f2fs on my cache and data partitions. Neither of those obviously mattered for 12.1 and neither *should* have anything to do with reading from the SIM...

Don't use nuke-it.zip if you're clean flashing. They changed the database files for the phone, etc , from @Stealth111's thread "nuking your old telephony and settings databases." on 11/21 cm13 or so. Everything after that is the new ones.
This has been a strange gremlin popping up - I'm surprised to see it still rear it's ugly head. You could use one of the last unofficial builds and then update on that - that's what I've done just out of laziness. Got Xposed and Gravity Box running.
Front facing camera will lock the app when clicked. Logcat to come.

Thanks for the reply. I do understand what the nuke_it.zip was for and why it's unnecessary on a clean flash. I didn't articulate that.
I think I will try your suggestion of trying out an unofficial build and see if that works. Do you have any suggestions for which build to try? I'm wondering if I should try one before 11/21, then run the nuke_it.zip on upgrade, or if I should try one after the database change over.
I'll probably end up doing both strategies because neither will work...

I haven't tried it while driving, but I've used it while walking, biking, and hiking. I have no idea what the difference is, but GPS is flawless on MM whereas I couldn't get a lock since KK. I usually get GPS fix in ~30-40s to ~5m accuracy. [[EDIT: That's actually in GPS only mode.]] My experience is that Mapquest is better for handling navigation purposes than Maps. Idk. Personal preference.
I follow in the footsteps of those before me, and hail the mighty invisiblek!
does anyone have a list of what currently doesn't work? I accidently flashed this when doing the weekly updates..
From what i noticed when just quickly messing with it..
Video Camera did not work (said couldn't access camera)
Front Facing camera froze (took picture but then would not let me click anything)

Krexus was born out of a simple necessity. The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.
And lastly, this is first and foremost a ROM about Nexus 5 (hammerhead). This is my personal device, this is where I test the ROM. angler, bullhead, flo, mako, shamu builds are provided AS-IS, and bugs/missing stuff/features especially for them will be put on the lowest priority and will depend on my free time. I will only guarantee the nexus 5 ROM and its abilities.
That said, welcome aboard!

When @KreAch3R showed me this rom, I really wanted it for grouper because of the close to stock implementation.
It runs very well on the aging tablet and is a good way of experiencing Marshmallow like it should be from Google.

This will be the post where I am going to write any new updates for my ROM. First of all, welcome!
For XDA, this is a new ROM. But for Google+, it isn't. I been testing it and releasing some builds in this private community, so be sure to ask to join for the latest info! I created this thread to let more people try my ROM, now that I feel it is in an almost perfect condition.
As as I said, my idea is to create a better stock ROM, and this is my target goal.
Another of my target goals is to make the release of a new build almost automated. Right now, the compilation of the 6 devices build list is finishing, and is uploaded to basketbuild, with clever smart scripts. This also updates the changelog in my site, so I don't have to write a new post everytime a new build is released. Everything should work!
Speaking of releases, the ROM comes with an updater, so you don't even have to check the community or this thread for new links. But follow the pushbullet channel if you want!
I've been copy/pasting information for the past half hour, so this new thread is bound to have mistakes and inconsistencies. Let me know and I'll fix it!
Some other important points:
You have to flash SuperSU and GApps.
If you have a question, you should check out google+, in case it's there.
For the Devs: check my vendor folder, I have been developing some automation scripts which I think, you will like!
I am an one man team, sorry for any slow responses.
Yes, this ROM is released for 6 devices, not hammerhead only. You can grab the zips from Basketbuild. I haven't created XDA thread for them (yet) because I don't own them.
I hope you like the ROM!!!

I couldn't get this to load on my grouper. Stuck on Google screen.
Coming from your CM13 ROM. Using TWRP 2.8.7.0
I tried wiping System - no go.
Any trick to this?
EDIT: Is this the issue where one needs to revert from CM to be able to flash non-CM roms? Seems I had this problem with other devices and earlier OSes.

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we are now LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LineageOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LineageOS supported, so no need to report errors/bugs to them!!
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AICP/vendor_aicp/p9.0/FEATURES.md
Bugs:
- NFC has been enabled but i recommend you turn it off and make sure it's disabled to prevent excessive battery drain.
- Bottom navigation bar glitches sometimes.
- You tell us!
Installation:
1. Download the ROM and GApps from the links below.
2. Wipe everything except internal storage.
3. Flash the ROM and GApps from the links below.
4. Flash Latest Magisk 19.3 to get root access.
5. Reboot and enjoy.

Other threads delete; it can happen. Please be aware that PM's to a single mod or such a post doesn't ensure timely reaction. In future, use the "Reporting feature": https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1718423
However: THREAD (temporarily) CLOSED!
Please report to the moderator's team that the thread can be re-open because you can make a working link to the kernel source availabe and are ready to add the missing link. Links to blobs isn't working either.
EDIT: Thread re-opened on request of OP.

Nothing much just making more ROMs for y'all
I've been playing with it for last couple of hours and so far so good. Maybe battery drains bit quicker but I'll give it few days and see. I only can't install Amazon from play store, like it's not available. I'll try to download it from apkmirror.
Are OTA updates coming? That's one of my favourite aicp features.
Anyway, great job. I was beginning to worry there would be no updates anymore. Thanks for keeping my tablet alive.
EDIT
Couldn't charge the battery over the night but it might be a wire issue. I've just changed that and we'll see.
There's some issue with screen rotation. It doesn't rotate to upside down portrait mode, neither auto nor with rotation control app. All the other orientations work.
EDIT 2
Charging issue must be faulty wire. After changing it, it's charging twice as fast.

No I have no idea how to get ota working plus I don't have a good working download site for the ota's to be able to download even but when I put out a build sometime next month you can just download the full ROM like you normally would and flash the ROM without wiping anything you will stay rooted and your gapps will be kept assuming you didn't add or modify any system files except magisk and gapps. You should be fine to dirty flash the next build over this one
Yeah I don't know why you can't download amazon from the play store just download from apk mirror and manually install it that should work and I am glad your enjoying the ROM

No problem, we'll get there. I only use it when I'm charging the tablet so not a big deal.

For information, I did a clean flash, flashed this rom, magisk v19, opengapps nano, but have had few bootloop. Waiting and waiting then be able to start the setup.

Don't use magisk v19 use magisk 18.1 and do a full clean flash again. Have you repartitioned your device and is your device a flo or deb I need more information. ROM runs fine on my flo
Hi everyone i am currently compiling and building a new build for flo and deb with aicp's latest sources as of today may 3rd 2019.
In the new build i went back to 320 dpi instead of 480 dpi because i think more people would like it that way also i fixed boot animation being too big and latest aicp changes have been added. I hope you all will enjoy the new build i will upload it once its done building it will probably take 3 hours to build.

don't know about the changelog wouldnt know where to find it
no you can just dirty flash over the build you are already running if you are already have my previous aicp build installed but in any other case or if you are running a different rom clean flash is mandatory unless you are running this rom
netflix should be working use the older version of netflix and make sure you have it hidden using magiskhide also there are other posts and threads that tell you how to fix it. look at other peoples rom threads and posts because i dont care about netflix
