NEED HELP ASAP!! Bootloop, Need CM 11S! - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was an idiot and tried flashing some zips that bootlooped my 1+1. Now I can't boot into the OS, but I can boot into TWRP and fastboot. I'm not sure what files to download at this point, I've looked at the Android development section and am confused how to flash the phone back to stock. Any help would be appreciated!

Umm... Maybe try wiping data? Just a guess, since I don't own the phone, it's just the general thing to do at a bootloop on 99% of the cases on all phones.

That was the first thing I tried, no dice. This thread helped me, literally JUST got the phone up and working again:

No idea why but now everything on the phone is gone, all the pictures and everything. Ugh.

[Q] HELP! Verizon Galaxy S 5 Bricked / Stuck In Boot Loop

Problem resolved thanks to bweN diorD!

Hey everyone, I figured this was the right section to post a question, sorry if I was mistaken.
So I recently rooted my phone and tried to install a custom ROM on it, turns out the ROM I selected was probably for the wrong model or something because my screen was just black. So I booted into recovery to try and restore it on the ROM I backed up and it was gone so now I'm kinda ****ed on a phone for now, before I look into buying a new one I wanna see if there's any way I can resolve this and unbrick it.
When I turn the phone on it just loops the booting screen and when I boot into recovery it just has the droid dude with an exclamation mark on it then turns off and does the boot loop.
I was wondering if maybe there's a file I can put on an external drive and it will automatically restore back to stock like on other devices.
I've done a lot stuff like this to my PS3 just never tried it for my phone so I'm just hoping there's a method out there for me, please provide any feedback or questions about it, I'm just trying to get this resolved and I have no time really to research it because of work and a newborn baby plus you guys would know more about it than me so yeah. Thanks!

Alright thank you! I'm pretty confident this will work, once the stock ROM file finishes downloading, which it doesn't seem that it wants to work. I've downloaded it 5 times now and every time it's done it's a fail.. I'll keep trying though.

[Need Help Fast] Boot Loop on Vega Iron NOT NORMAL

Hello I'm a user of a Sky Vega Iron (IM-A870)
And I need desperate help.
It's not an ordinary boot loop I wish it was, here's the story.
I rooted my phone just to let you know.
So I installed the wrong version of cwd recovery on my phone and so when I go into recovery mode the screen will turn like this.
imgurDOTcom/iOFieHG (sorry I can't you links yet cause I'm new)
But it wasn't a big deal I just didn't use it.
Now is the deal I decided to update my phone to stock kitkat that the vega devs supported themselves with vega station(the stock updating app)
And when it started installing it suddenly went into cwm.
I wasn't that worried at the moment just tried pulling the battery out and rebooting but...it started a boot loop.
I can't navigate cwm because of the way it is and I'm stuck. Is there another way to factory reset? or to get out of the loop?
Maybe a way to get rid of cwm and get back to stock recovery mode? Please help I need help until tomorrow! (personal reasons)
I searched online hours for solutions yet I can't find one.
Please help. I'm begging anyone out there.
Thank You

you would need to get to one of 2 places, i thought you couldn't get to either, settings (from booted up) or recovery.
but factory resetting would only remove any data, it will not restore any files or fix your busted cwm.

i cant say that for sure, all im saying is, factory reset does nothing more than wipe data.
if there is an issue in there causing your problem, then yes it will fix it. if your problem is caused by a software issue, then no it will not.

[Q] Accidentally tried to flash ROM on encrypted Razr, stuck and need help please!

Exactly like I said, I accidentally tried flashing a ROM on my encrypted XT926. I got a sinking feeling because I knew exactly what I did as soon as I did it. It's my only phone, so I'm really kind of screwed here because I don't know hw to fix this! I can get into fastboot and recovery just fine, but I don't know how to wipe the phone and get back to normal from here. Can anyone help me, please?

you can just wipe system, data ,cache, and dalvik then reinstall the rom but if you want to go back to stock then follow the instructions in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-razr-hd/general/fxz-4-4-2-183-46-15-t2873083
Thanks so much, I managed to flash back to stock ROM with RSDLite. I learned my lesson! Again, thanks for the reply.

Note 5 keeps boot loopig after odin back to stock?

So Ive tried going back to stock with odin using the COJ5 software. Baseband was previously COI5 with custom rom and kernel. I received my Gear VR today and it wont play with the COI5 baseband at all. What should I do???? Phone just keeps bootlooping and freezing at the T-Mobile screen. Flash passes in Odin fine. Any help?
Well false alarm guys and gals. I had to trick the phone into going in recovery then I did a factory wipe that way and I'm good to go! Just figured I would mention this incase any others had my issue!
Yeah, you gotta do the wipe.
also mentioned in the thread that most people have used to flash to 6.0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmo...ndroid-6-0-marshmallow-note-5-t3250812/page39

I dont think he wouldve searched there since it seems he was upgrading from COI5 to COJ5 and not downgrading from the leaked MM build..

Frankly wiping (be it cache or a full factory) should be troubleshooting step number 1 when it comes to a boot loop.

You also need the pit file. Otherwise it won't boot. You'd get into boot loop.

Nah he shouldn't need a pit for COJ5 unless he damages a partition which doesn't seem likely as he was only upgrading.
Just boot into recovery and wipe everything, and Odin COJ5 again.

Verizon Pixel stuck in bootloop. Please help.

Hey guys. I really messed up. I was running 7.1 from launch, and have had the systemless root basically since the beginning. I attempted to mount /system as /r/rw (for the stupidest reason) and my phone booted into a "no command" bootloop. Is there any hope for me? I can access recovery (I think). I can get into adb and fastboot and get the device recognized by the computer.
I will donate, buy coffee, anything for some love. Thank you so much for your time!

Thank you so much for the reply. I think I could even do a factory reset from recovery, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty new at this. I was really hoping there may be a way I could backup my data first, or even fix the issue, as I'm pretty sure I know what happened. I think my permissions are set wrong, but I could be entirely wrong. I found this guide that sounds like my issue, but it is for a different device. I've tried adapting it to the best of my ability, but I can't get the phone in ADB mode from recovery. http://www.gizbeat.com/2103/how-to-change-file-permissions-through-adb/
Wouldn't hurt to try knowing you can also just flash stock images.

Can you point me in the direction of someone who may be able to help me do just that? I've tried just about all I can think to do. I really am new at this and feel I am in over my head. I really appreciate any and all help and would gladly donate to this site or any individual user who is able to help me solve my problems (I hope it isn't against your rules to say things like that).
Thanks again.

Sorry, I was unclear, that was my fault. I believe I know how to flash stock images. That is something I have done since the OG Droid. I was asking if you may know anyone who may be able to help me attempt to backup my data, reset my permissions, or even get the phone into ADB mode before I resort to losing everything. Again, apologies for being unclear.
No worries. I would just look online and possibly post another thread here or just wait for replies.
Flash the stock image but remove the -w from the script to keep from losing data. Search around here for instructions. It's been described a zillion times.

I suppose one could think of it that way but it really isn't. Everything other than data will be wiped and flashed. It'll all be new with the exception of your data partition. Removing the w allows you to keep all your apps and their settings in tact. The rest will all be new though. It can't hurt to try it. If it doesn't fix your problem (which it should) you can always run it again and wipe data along with everything else.

Yes. But in reality it is not much different than taking an OTA. That never wipes data. I only clean flash if I am having issues after a dirty flash and I can't remember the last time that happened.
