I have been truing to root my xperia U for 3 days now.
I have search and try everything and every tool but with no luck.
Below I'm attaching you 2 pics. First is for my attempt with the flashtool. Second is with Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18.
As you can see for yourself my phone has Android version : 4.0.4 / kernel version : 3.0.8+ / Build number : 6.1.1.B.1.100
If someone can help me I would be very grateful.

you should go to xperia u forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u , or try towelroot http://towelroot.com/ Do With Your Own Risk

Thank for the link but i had read that earlyer and appears for firmware of a differnt build to mine
If you're sure that method doesn't work the only option would be a downgrade-root-upgrade method.

But replace the things with Xperia J ftf's etc. Should work.

Frequent slow down of phone (at least once a day!)
Well if your previous rooting has failed I have a definite solution for you. I have done this before not once or twice but many times.
All you have to do is to download an official firmware from kies. Connect your mobile and see whether it updates or says 'this is the latest firmware'.
Mail me after that. I'l tell you further.

hi im not expert but i rooted my s duos 7562 using odin and step by step guide provided in xda.....all u have to do is read and follow...

same problem.
we need perfect working pda file recovery.tar
if u have successful rooted give that file..
Dude install samsung latest drivers and use unlockroot pro..i just rooted via same application..there one detail guide dere too..go thru it..

Dear friend,
I have successfully rooted this phone ( DAPENG N7100+ model name is: e1921_v77_mt6628_hjy )
but unfortunately my phone got bricked after installing Chainfire, and i didn't have the original firmware backup...
because i had modified and rooted it and it worked perfectly,
then i added chainfire and the phone got bricked....
i will write a tutorial on how to root the e1921_v77_mt6628_hjy and help you....
but first i need a small favor from you, i need you to share the firmware with me...
as soon as i get my phone back to life i will write you a complete tutorial with pictures on how to root the phone....
p.s. if you don't have the firmware, i can teach you on how to copy it from the phone....

Samsung Galaxy Ace Advance GT-S6800
Gingerbread.XXLH1 2.3.6
Base Version : S6800XXLG3
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7 [email protected] #1
I have tried everything such as SRS root , Zroot, oneclickroot and basically any other method i could find but no success.
Please can anyone shed some light.. Plz .. I realise this isnt the most popular phone on the market but i would love some help.

find your device's thread and find if anyone got rooted or not...
try to flash recovery.img with spft...u got cwm/twrp and after that install superuser...

The point is that i cant root my phone , hence not being able to get superuser function.. If anyone on here can guide me with a successful root I would be ever so gratefull,

Hello Everybody!
I've got a new phone HUAWEI Y5II (CUN L22) i decided to root it with Kingroot and it was working great! only problem : the SU binary impossible to update... its why i start to dig more...
After that i decide to install a rom custom but now i have those problems :
- imposible to restart in recovery mode no better using the volume and power button or through rom manager "restart recovery mode"
- So i try to hard reset it with the settings option, its running but when it start again nothing have change!
fo trying to give you all informations :
- with rom manger : says that my recovery is TWRP...
- with flashify app i flashed the recovery img Philz...
I'm aware i did too many stuff on this! i think i created i big mess!!
But if someone have a solution for make a clean restart.... it will be sooo great!! thanks
