CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
I know many of you are wondering that I was going to release AOSP, but I had some issues with it. Once I have done considerable progress here, I will release it too and work parallely
This is a work in progress, this is not supposed to boot in first attempt. This will need continuous efforts and no ETA will be provided for any of the future builds. This belongs to original development section but I am purposely creating this here, once we reach booting stage I will get this moved there.
This is not for daily usage.
I need logcats and dmesg to go further
Normal users are not recommended to flash this, only those who can deal with Soft bricks.
You need to revert back to ICS by flashing complete ICS package via SP Flash Tool.

This app will enable all the Mediatek devices with MT6589 chipsets to extend their app installation storage(which is generally 1gb). This will utilize your phone's internal memory, which we don't use normally. This memory just goes waste as we use sd card to keep most of the files. So let's utilize this space....:good::good::laugh:
Requirements:
A MT6589 device
Root access
A custom recovery
Instructions:
Make a backup of your files in your recovery (if you want to preserve them) and make sure they are stored on the external sdcard.
Download, install and start the Meteos app for your specific ROM size and choose your desired Data partition size.
Press "Reboot into Recovery" and choose "'Wipe data/Factory Reset" on CWM or Wipe internal storage on TWRP.
Restore your backup.
Profit.
Precaution
After taking backup of your rom, remove sd card for safety

You need a custom recovery. twrp or cwm as stock recovery doesn't have backup option

- First of all, does your App work with the turbo version of the MT6589 chip?
- Does a Rom update without Factory Reset still work after using your App?
- Can I use the stock recovery and restore my Apps with eg. Titanium Backup?

yes you can use it definitely. use the 4gb apk as in A116 i think only 4gb internal memory.

1. I have not tested on MT6589T
2. You have to do factory reset in order to partitions get detected by the system
3. U can use stock recovery only if you don't want to take backup of your current rom. I won't take responsibility of the same
use twrp or cwm recovery

What is CWM?

This recovery was compiled with PAC-man ROM. It has full SELinux support and I recommend to use it for flashing all KitKat ROMs.

c2+ fb group has 5500+ members but device holders are only 2000-2500 members.Rest are spammers.And most important they do not prefer xda
to ask question or for any info,they prefer fb group.Only 20-25 users are frequent here.Most people get here only when rom is release and did not even care to press thanks as most of them also do not have ID here.
Some peoples messaged me that i cannot post on xda as xda have 10 post rule.So some of them try to get ID here but due to 10 post rule most of them leave xda.....

INSTALLATION

I can't restore my backup. It says "error while restoring %path%". Also TWRP has reached %100 while getting backup. What's the solution?
Sorry, that's a bug of TWRP. Maybe only for our devices. I faced that but i couldnt fix that Actually i started to using my phone with wiped type.
I DON'T SUGGEST THIS RECOVERY ANYMORE. GO ON TO T.W.R.P. 2.8.6.0 AS WHICH IS BETTER!

Did you guys tryed to maybe manually mount it before restoring data? Or unmount and then restore?

They have clearly mentioned the state of the rom... It's in alpha state and bugs are as same as CM.... So for now there's no point flashing it and wait until it's in some proper shape... Too bad they didn't even mention whether Non LTE users can flash it or not... I'm just a bit lightened up that someone is taking up the job :good: Let's wait for it for a little while more and expect something from sony or the xda devs....

Guys just give a proper Bug report and tell the people for which version it is. It isn't that hard.

I can install and test the rom Sunday, I am on vacation and do not have a suitable PC to install and report any bugs. I suppose that the camera and the data are not working so it's not a rom for daily use.
I received confirmation that the camera does not work because they are not being pushed drivers in Rom AOSP/CM
