[Q] Bigger dialpad - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After update on 4.4.3 dialpad is smaller than it was on 4.4.2.
Do we have some mod out there to make it bigger?

idk but you can use App Settings (xposed module) to raise the DPI of your dialer.

Not if you're on 4.4.4 which cm is now and everybody else is to because 4.4.4 uses art which xposed framework is not yet compatible with yet

Thought you could switch back if wanted? CM is 4. 2 if you like stability. Even they say not to use nughtlys for daily drivers
Please fix the F/C on this application. Thx.

Not on 4.4.4 and fix the app fc I'm not the developer you will have to wait for him to update it to art runtime

4.4.4 was built BEFORE AOSP changes for the removal of Dalvik and changing ART to default. You can use Dalvik with Xposed on 4.4.4
-facepalm-

status bar with per-app colors

Hello everyone.
Anyone knows if it's possible to set the status bar to change color adapting itself to the app I'm using?
Just like iOS7.
I know it was possible on Paranoid Android ROM: is there an official/unofficial way to do the same on the nexus 5?
I don't think you can with stock Android.

ART users? Quick mods question?

Is there any mods to enable battery percentage and editable quick tiles yet for ART? It's been the only thing stopping me from switching over

Or even a dedicated thread for ART compatible mods listed?

hmm, how do you define mods?
xposed isn't working with art enabled, but for mods you can get from playstore or any other app, many infos about compatibility can be found here:

ahhhh, thanks
so all mods, only modifying the system by not adding or changing any java code should work!.. eg new bootanimation, or only ressource tweaks for theming.. but everything changing java code is potentially dangerous - ok, some kind of obviously if you using a unstable run time xD
the real problem is that google does not provide any list of already implemented functions, the aot compiler already can use :/ .. would be nice especially for us developers to know what we can use, so our app is not crashing. until google provides more infos or someone is geeky enough to tear down art, testing and failing recursively.

REQ - Volume Wake Mod

Is there a flashable mod for this for the Nexus 5 on stock rom?

Roms that include Google dialer

Any Roms besides Cataclysm that include Google dialer? I don't want to have to flash it because I've read about incompatibilities.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Flashing it works just fine. ROMs aren't really supposed to include it, for legal reasons.

Let me rephrase that. It should work fine, but that all depends on your ROM.
If you flash the Google Dialer addon module from the official PA gapps, it will remove the built in dialer and replace it with the Google one.
No. They have the same name so what you flash will replace what once was there

Did it work? I'm holding off of ART coz of these xposed tweaks that I'll miss... This is one of them!

It doesn't work with AdAway... Mother of all Ad-blocking should work I think. No need to Xposed.
