[APP] [4.0+] Half-Life Soundboard - Android Apps and Games

Hello
This is my first app for Android. Initially I started coding it with Xamarin (C#) but now I've ported it to Java.
I must say I really enjoyed coding for this platform and I apologize for the simplicity of this application, it was created just so I could get into the Android mood.
Anyway, it's a soundboard with (for now) the VOX announcement system lines from the Half-Life games (600, more or less). If you are a fan of this game like I am, I hope you will enjoy it.
EDIT: Google Play link! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=guitmz.half_lifesoundboard
Thanks!!! :good:

up

new version coming soon with ringtone/alarm/notification support!

You can now set any sound as notification/alarm/ringtone! Get it from Play Store

Whaaooo, how do you make this app works ?
Well done

Thanks

[Game] Android port of xBill

Hi,
I made the Android port of the famous xBill game. The original game was written by Brian Wellington and Matias Duarte. You can see more information on their web site : www.xbill.org
I like this game where you must smash a lot of Bill. So I decided to port it on the Android platform.
The game is available on the Android Market : http://market.android.com/details?id=com.lecacheur.android.xbill
I published a mini-site here : http://android.lecacheur.com/xbill.html
Have fun ! Any feedbacks are welcome !
Hello _z3r0_ :
I have been using the app XBILL GAME FOR ANDROID version 1.0.6 for a long,
long time and I can tell you that it is excellent, it worked excellently on
Android 9.0, BUT when moving to Android 10 it didn't work anymore ...
I am very sorry to have to uninstall a great application like XBILL GAME FOR
ANDROID.
Waiting for an answer from you. I send you a big greeting

[App] Skyrim Kinect Shouts

Just released this to the Play Store yesterday. It may be a simple app, but it can really come in handy. It lists every shout available for Skyrim for use with the Xbox's Kinect and includes the original voice recordings to give users an idea of the pronunciation of the dragon words.
I know most people will not have a use for this application, but if you fall in the minority that owns an Xbox, a Kinect, and an Android device, this app is for you.
Give it a download on the Play Store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...MsImNvbS5hbmRyb21vLmRldjU2MjU0LmFwcDU4MDUzIl0.
I just happen to fall under the "minority" you mentioned. Testing it out now.
I have finished playing Skyrim a month ago, and had no idea Bethesda enabled Kinect voice control. The game suddenly has replay value again.
Pros:
The app works well on my B&N Nook Tablet CM7.
A simple app that nicely fits an existing niche. All I can remember without this is probably just Fus Roh Dah.
Cons:
Some shouts are truncated too quickly and ends abruptly.
The shouts also seem higher pitched than what I'm used to from the games.
The kinect update is already out? Man I'm behind....
Come over to the dark side...
Planned updates
Not sure how many of you are aware of this, but this app required no coding on my behalf. I used an application generator called Andromo.
In the future, I'm hoping to code this myself and include many more features.
I will eventually include all 200+ commands into this application once I have coded it myself. This app is just a test to see if there is any interest.
Thanks for the support
Thanks a lot for the feedback. I had some issues with the sounds files from the game. These issues should be sorted shortly.
All of the shout files are divided into two files; the first file contains the first word and the second file contains the last two words. Joining the files together was a bit of a problem, but I'll improve them soon.
Thanks a lot
Large update planned:
Hoping to include all 200+ voice commands, not just the shouts.
So the app should become a huge help when playing the game.
This app is awesomely helpful....however I'm having a ***** of a time actually getting my kinect to respond quickly.
Come over to the dark side...
Works great as a sound board. I haven't got a Kinect -- I have an Xbox 360, but I play Skyrim on the PC, so this app is useless to me for the intended purpose, but I downloaded it because I thought it would be fun. Anyway, works great on Electrify 2.3.5, if you were looking for compatibility.
Thanks for the support and the feedback everyone!

Creating a game app, looking for developer programs

Hi, I'm new here! I have been interested in creating my own android games for a time now and just decided to give it a try, so I'm looking for a software where I can develop my games.
I have some basic knowledge in java and been playing around a bit in Android Studio. What would be the easiest way for a beginner to create his first android game? At the start, now when I'm new to app development, I will make simple games like memory match or quiz game, and after that try creating games that require some physics, like a "runner game" or platform game.
I have found three options:
-Android Studio
-Unity3d
-Game Maker: studio
Does any of you have any idea what software to use? Are any of these three options any good? I have also heard it might be possible to use Android Studio as a plugin for Unity3d or something like that... I just want to create simple 2D-games, not any advanced 3D-games. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

I'd suggest game maker studio. My old highschool used it to teach students and it only required animation as a prereq. It's really good for learning concepts and terms; I've used unity but it can get overwhelming just to accomplish simple things without knowing all of the lingo. I just purchased game maker studio and the android module for $12 on the humble bundle weekly. I can't post any links since I haven't made any posts but you can just google humble bundle

Yep, but I can't promote them here while I don't have 10 messages.
I used to make games for my classmates and university friends only but now I'm trying to make wide-auditory games and I have met the problem of promoting - it's really hard to promote your game without a big amount of money..
Updated:
Oh, I have 10+ posts already!) cool!) I will create a thread with my game soon

It isn't original idea for game, unfortunatelly.

And is this legal to post links like that here?
