Is it possible for other apps or users to manage a way to see very very private material from my accounts? What stops the creators from seeing our passwords?
I'm not saying you will do any of this, I'm just a scurrdy kat with these things. Please don't get mad, I'm just curious about these things.
:good::good::good:
Good job!
Could you add mega please that's the only one I'm missing!
And maybe you could make a xda edition for free?

how do you get a paid app on the xda homepage without an xda free edition?
Yeah, that's interesting. Wasn't that in the rules?
It's a very interesting app. However I would like to have owncloud support before I invest in it. A 14 days trial wouldn't hurt as well.
Cloud Mail.RU would be awesome

Update 1.1 released!
Updated the app. It produced "Out of memory" error with some large screen phones so I changed the bitmap from 32bit to 16bit.
It may take a while before the update appears in Google Play.
Thanks for the 1.1 update. The crash is gone but performance isn't very good IMHO. Also, there's a noticeable square around the animated part of the image. Screenshot attached.
Still like that top less idea, maybe make a mediafire link

Thank you for your post. I'm going to do more optimization next tuesday when I have access to my sources.
For all who deside to try this app: If it crashes, please click the "report" button. It would be very helpful and make me glad

After investigating the performance issue and optimization possibilities it turns out the next step is to use OpenGL. Maybe the next update uses OpenGL and textures.
So ummm who's body is it? xD

Hi
I'm one of the creators of RoadAid and until recently it was only available in Denmark.
Basically RoadAid is a social network application for traffic related insight.
You interact with other people on the road and warn each other about traffic jams, hazards, police and so on.
It's available for Android, iPhone and Windows Phone.
We have now opened up for a lot of countries and in that regard I'm reaching out to the xda community for little help to try the app and to spred the word.
I'm interested in knowing how the app performs on different devices and to eliminate bugs of course.
Even though the service has been put under extensive testing, we are only two people and can't find all the quirks by ourselves.
And if you have ideas or improvements please share with us.
Thank you.
Nobody wants to try it out?

Hehe then you shouldn't be using Google Maps, TomTom, Garmin and so on
You don't have to anything other than to turn on the app, it will warn you about incidents by voice and to report you only press the report button :good:
I'm currently running the latest JB MiUi which I thought would have a working Google Now app, negative. Today I came across this baby, Maluuba which is an alternative to just that!
Direct Link - Maluuba v.1.0.3 (thanks frenzyboi)
I've tried it out for myself and love it!
It's even better than Google Now in my opinion.
Have fun, hit thanks
I think it's only available in the US and UK

Delete quicksearchbox.apk from /system/apps than restart your phone. After that just download it from play store (called Google search). Worked like a charm here.

no available for my country so it will be nice if you keep this post updated
Around the world
Hey guys, noticed quite a few people asking why it's not available in their country, so here's a little blog post about our plans for releasing across the world, and an explanation on why we haven't.

Hope it answers your questions, and thanks for all the support!

It's free.. it's not warez.
I should have searched on XDA first!
Nevertheless, I got the APK myself and it works pretty well even though my region is not supported.
Here's their blog post explaining why:

I like it but I like how Google Now actually speaks the answer back to you.

a shame that this currently only in English
This is asking for way too many permissions when installing. All the permissions that can super hack my device. Record audio? WTH
How do I know this app would be safe?

Record audio.. hello.... how do you think you can ask it questions without a microphone?
I just discovered Maluuba, because ICS/JB Roms aren't "perfectly smooth" on my OG Evo, and a GB Google Now build doesn't exist...as of yet.
I actually wouldn't agree that it is better than GNow, but a close second place. When GNow is able to present an audible answer to your question, it is presented in the simplest way.
And of course, GNow has suggestion cards, but that takes a lot of development, and I will be surprised to see it implemented by another developer.
Hey. So I was wondering if there was a way to make apps that you have purchased via Amazon, to be recognized and updatable via Play Store?
I bought the Splashtop App from Amazon, but froze the Appstore because it keeps running in the background and using data/battery. But since I've done that, I'm not allowed to run Splashtop. It says I need to install Amazon Appstore.
Is there a way to get around that?
Thanks!
AW: Amazon Appstore Apps to Google Play Apps
There is no way to get around it other than purchasing it on Google play again. It's simple as that. Furthermore I think it won't be possible in the future because amazon and Google are competitors and it is nearly impossible for them to check whether you've bought the app or not.

Try breaking the market link with titanium backup. It works on some apps but not all.

Hi! Thank you all for your kind words. I am extremely grateful for everyone's input on Sliding Explorer . I received a ton of posts and messages from people who would like to test, so instead of distributing one by one, I thought it would be better to upload an APK and Google play link here. I will have both the APK and Google play link very soon(Maximum of 48 hours). Please stay tuned and let me know of any other things you would like. Feature requests are welcomed.
Thanks again!

Looks somewhat like Fylee. Add a built-in zip manager and I'll switch to this from ES File Manager without a second thought.
