GDocs freezing/rebooting - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My Docs app occasionally either freezes or reboots the phone while typing. It has happened on multiple ROMs now, so I'm thinking that it is more than just a ROM issue. It has happened since 4.4.3. Anyone else experience this? Thanks!

CM9 stingray YouTube freezing

Almost once a day YouTube will begin to stutter, then the system will become unresponsive, ultimately requiring a hard reset. Seemed to have persisted through out cm9 for me.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I have the same issue with my Nex7. It will get stuck loading for hrs if let it. I just use a browser now because the app is too annoying. It would happen before I was rooted as well.

Screen wake issues

At least 5 times a day when I try to turn on my phones screen I'm unable to do do and I'm forced to reboot it. I don't think the issue is with the ROM because I've encountered the same problem on multiple Roms.
Does anyone have an idea what may be causing this?

sounds like sod(sleep of death). it can be a rom issue, a kernel issue, an app issue, or you need to raise voltages.
OK thanks, I'll investigate

Random reboots after update

I've just applied the incremental update to my opo.
Since then I'm getting lots of random reboots. 3 a day that I'm aware of.
Anyone else getting this? Is there a fix?
The phone is totally stock and uprooted.

I've seen a few people mention this. Unless you know the cause you can't fix it. Have you looked at your last_kmseg?

Well there is an update.
I am livid.
My phone random rebooted today and on reboot factory reset itself. I have lost everything. SMS Whatsapp chats & photos and now need to spend 2 hours setting it up again.
Why are these muppets releasing updates that aren't stable???
My phone reboots randomly too on cm nightly stock kernel

Random reboots with lollipop

I started having random reboots yesterday and I can't for the life of me understand why. I'm running stock 5.0.1 with root and I flashed the factory image with wipe option when I got my N5. I can be randomly browsing Tapatalk or chrome beta or whatever and it just randomly restarts.
Any idea why? I'm out of ideas.

Random reboots on lollipop

Anyone else having random reboots after upgrading to lollipop? Online places say there is some app causing problems, but I've been steadily deleting apps and cant figure it out. Anyone had this before?

I havent experienced this. Have you tried factory resetting? People are saying this solves a lot of their problems from updating.

Factory resetting solved all of my lollipop issues. Just back everything up and reset then reload everything back on to the phone.
