Root xperia m2 2303 - Sony Xperia M2

How to root xperia m2 D2303?I have unlocked bootloader, android 4.3, 18.0.C.1.13.

At this time there is no way for rooting this device! We have to wait or build our own rootkit for the device, but that's not simple. I will try to build this in my holidays next week. Wish me luck!

good luck !!!

sorry for my noobs question and bad english. I'm curious, why is some devices has root access and some others don't. As far i know most of xperia series has root access, now i'm using a sony xperia MT271 (sola).
another question, which one the best of this 2 models, Xperia M2 or Moto G.. I see their spesification much like the same.
thank you

The Xperia M2 is a New device and developement for the device is just in the beginning. Rootaccess is not a simple thing, you have to modify the kernel! But it's going on, no worry!
But in all cases, Sony is the better choice.

hey
I said that I did not have root before the update
In the tutorial , we need to have a rooted phone and then update to version 11.0.A.7.5
It is no good for me
You don't have to downgrade!
Get this http://www.unlockroot.com/download.html (UnlockRoot Pro) - watch out for toolbars during installation, just uncheck them and press Next.
And click ROOT it works on latest firmware.

Seems to good to be true ..
Any one tested it ?
I did, today, it works perfectly. I am not making this up.
Edit: just enable USB Debugging and the program will do the rest. You really don't have to downgrade.
I belive you
It's just I've never heard of this magic thing before...
It didn't work earlier, it was fixed in that program 2 days ago I think and it can root 11.0.A.7.5 just fine.

Works like a charm on 11.0.A.7.5! The free version UnlockRoot will do it. You do not need to buy the pro version.
I will try it then
Can I unlock the boot loader with root ?

Do you have PC Companion installed on your PC and USB Debug enabled on your phone?
I had this problem and the only thing I could do is to root it on laptop. I guess drivers are messed up on your PC or something.
Can it root latest tipo update .22?
EDIT: http://www.unlockroot.com/unlockroot3.php
Here writes that support 11.0.A.0.26 The latest is .22

[Q] kitkat for us?

I know this is a really common question and answer to this can only be given by sony ppl but still...
Are we gonna get kitkat update?
It really sux that we have "locked bootloader" + no "4.4"
If any one has any idea aboyt 4.4 plz keep posted...
Xperia E1 is scheduled for 4.4 but not Xperia C???
C mosts almost 2 times than E1!!! :silly:
Maybe..
I think maybe we can suggest a CyanogenMod version ...
Can't we?
It won't happen, Mediatek aren't planning to make sources for Mtk6589 for 4.4.

I was trying to say that, that might work fine 'cause the software is the same. But, still I've got my questions.
Also, as a note. Like someone says above. Aqua was released just with 4.4.2 KitKat.

You may know kingo root is risky.
Many people say they spy on you they use your camera etc.
So better root with other ways.
Sent from my Xperia E3 using Tapatalk
I know, but this is King Root, not Kingo, I don't know if they try spy me, but in processes and internet monitoring I didn't see any thing suspicious, to me work's and don't looks like a virus.
Anyway, the process method of XDA is more trustly , and I recommend.

But however never trust a app.
Who unknown,s how many things they can install in system while person is thinking it's installing supersu or superuser.

Confused on which rooting guide to follow

So I'm pretty confused there is a lot of information out there and it's conflicting one another in my view. I want to achieve root on my stock rom and possibly be able to flash custom roms. My situation is I have the Sony Xperia E3 D2206 model with stock android 4.4.2 and when I punch in the code it says that my bootloader is not unlockable. I have installed flashtool and drivers and tried the "BLU" button and it says it cannot unlock my bootloader.
From my understanding I can still somehow root this phone, can somebody point me to which guide I should follow for my phone?
Thank you.
Can someone weigh in, I'm sitting here a long time with my phone in hand.
